I had rotator cuff surgery in March 2025 and started physical therapy here at 6 weeks when allowed…read more I have been going twice a week and am so impressed with the attention and care I received at Mt Stuart PT. It all starts with the smiling Nicole at the desk. She was willing to really work around my school schedule to get me in the most efficient fashion. Tina was always cheering me on and explaining all the movements and actions she was asking me to perform with easy details and clear focus. All my strengthening exercises (bands, tubes, light weights) and stretching movements were tailored exactly towards my weekly goals and my personal progress. I know that every healing story is different (and I know my family heals fast) but at 4 months out , I am back to playing golf, pickle ball, kayaking, and doing most chores around our cabin. I have "graduated" and will now continue my progress. I still won't lift really heavy stuff for awhile (over my head) but I feel 99.9% better. I have all my range of motion back, and I can sleep through the night (which anyone with rotator cuff problems can cheer about) Tina and staff are very encouraging and the individualized therapy per client is exceptional. Lots of modalities to be used in this hidden gem. Modern, up to date equipment and knowledge. I am a middle school PE teacher and I feel when I go back to school at the end of August, I will be able to demonstrate all the skills we do again! Tina totally can work out the scar tissue and manipulate tight fascia into being a smooth gliding structure. She understands proper mechanics and always is ready to reevaluate weekly plans to actual working progress. I tell everyone this is the place to go if you want to heal correctly and with smiling faces!

I have great hesitation about returning to this place again, and I've been putting off writing this…read morereview for quite a while. I thought the front office staff was extremely welcoming, helpful and professional. Like a reviewer below, I wasn't able to get in as fast as I'd hoped, but - given the circumstances of the world right now - I didn't let that bother me too much. This clinic is close to home and convenient to drive to. I had been working with their PTA, Brandie, who unfortunately was condescending and visibly annoyed while working with me. She would giggle after making passive comments about me/my performance in order to present the comments as playful, which was extremely unsympathetic considering my physical situation and level of pain. I felt like she was mocking me. At one point she even angrily snapped "I'm trying to help you!" when I winced during therapy. I don't believe any professional should be snapping at patients simply for having a reaction to the pain. That's part of the job and a big part of therapy. I guess my facial expressions displeased her? Strange. If I decide to return I will be requesting to work only with other staff.

The front desk gals are super nice and professional. Biosports texts out same day reminders of…read moreappointments if you desire. The facility is good sized and has a lot of options for recovery in the way of pool, machines, massage, and floor equipment . I was lucky to get to work with Chris who has helped me through a number of challenges. I went in with a walker and now I am back to getting on with life as usual. I am healthier, stronger, and more flexible. Chris would listen to me when I said I found pain and we would work to remove it and keep on going. He would keep the workouts always changing and so it was never boring. Biosports has a lot of trainers. If you don't click with yours you could always ask for another one.
