The park is big (over 8 acres) and it has a lot of amenities for locals and visitors, here you can enjoy Baseball / Softball, Basketball Courts, Volleyball, Tennis Courts, Soccer Fields, walking tracks (almost half a mile with nice exercise stations), and several playgrounds... For those not so much into active life and sports, you can still enjoy the park by using their grills, pavilion, picnic areas, picnic shelters. There is plenty of parking and nice clean restrooms. The park is open from 8 a.m to Sunset, every day of the week. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed in the park.Pets are not permitted in the park, either. Come by and enjoy this nice green space !

The track is made of a squishy like material which at first I felt like I was sinking into, but by the second day I got used to. There were plenty of people using the park but it did not seem over crowded, it looked like parking may be an issue if there was a game or too many visitors. it was a pleasant place to spend some time while my son was practicing!

However no one bothered me while I was there and I was free to explore. The park is very beautiful with flowering trees set alongside a half mile long paved path that winds around a lake where there is a gazebo and benches. The trail also leads out to W Palmetto Road. The lake has a lot of ducks swimming around. I also saw iguanas and squirrels in the park. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit Parque Placido but this is a great amenity for the Boca Del Mar community to have as basically their backyard. It gives them a place to exercise, walk their dogs, and enjoy the outdoors.

Heyyyy, we got a new park to visit! And its not far from home…read more Its actually close for most people in the area as its right off the 95 exit onto Spanish River. We stopped over the other day, as my daughter found it on a basic search for places to take a walk or jog in the area. a little embarrassing that I didn't even know it was right there. I scouted it a little so I knew the right move was to park at the Spanish River library. After getting ready where we parked we headed out on a nice jog. The Pondhawk nature trail felt like about a mile around. it meandered left and right and plenty of things to distract as we jogged by. After that loop we too the other route which was around the lake there. that was closer to a half mile so we went around that 3 times. there were plenty o other people walking and jogging but the positive vibes were every where as people would say hi as we passed by. it was a nice Sunday morning jog, and I think we have a new spot to get some cardio in, Pondhawk.

Everyone in our family of four got up for some activity. Mike is an easygoing and terrific instructor. Some of the best pics and videos . Big smiles all around. My kids now have the water skiing bug. Mike found us smooth water and he is a very good instructor. A trick my son and daughter had been trying for a very long time (180 on a wakeboard) he had them doing with a couple pointers -Great! My daughter was barefooting! and she loved it You can't go wrong with Walkin on Water! We'll be back for sure!

First off parking is free and you can purchase ti keys before or at the park-same price whatever you choose. Come in costume cause everyone is dressed up. Every weekend is a different theme so check their website out. There was so much to see and do and eat and just be present for. We saw it all amd tried to drink as mu h as we could too..lol Bring cash as most vendors its there preference. Aside from the glorious fest that you can catch the whole month and comes once a year; The park is huge with water sports, biking, walks, relaxing,picnics and more. Its nice for me and others who want to hit the park extra early as its open at at least 7am, while most state parks don't open till 8am. Last week I came for my third round of disc at this course. Plenty of people have told me its one of the better courses in South Florida but I have only really played Broward courses. Last time I played this course it rained the whole time so not great. But this was a fine day. Getting there about 730am beat the crowd, big time. Even after warming up putting, I was the only car in the parking lot. And away I went. Its a nice course with white and red tees. I had a nice round, and I can see why it has a good reputation. It draws a good crowd at the park at the other areas, especially the Remote control(RC) areas. Plenty of planes up in the air. Its a great park, well worth the drive out West.

We also have watched the radio controlled airplanes fly in the back some are quite amazing although today no one was allowed as the President isnin town per FAA no flights at all. We have utilized the bike trails in the back and there are ramps, so e are quite high for the adventurer. Today we just rode bikes around the park. There are a lot of other things available here to do. You can have a nice picnic or actually primitive camp here too with a permit. Like many of the community parks in Boca Raton, this park has a sign that says it is for Timbercreek residents only. That aside it is a lovely neighborhood park situated on a lake. Park amenities include a gazebo, playground with climbing structures, slides, and swings, picnic tables, and basketball court. My favorite part of the park is the fishing dock where you could see all of the turtles in the lake. They were obviously used to being fed because as soon as I stepped on the dock about 20 of them came swimming over to say hello. This is a really pretty park for the residents of Timbercreek. If you are from outside the neighborhood nearby patch Reef Park would be a great choice.

What makes this the ideal spot? It's far enough inside the inlet to ensure calm, clear, shallow water. Perfect to jump into, float on the raft, play Frisbee, football, dance to the dueling music... yeah, our speakers can go louder than yours. lol There were plenty of families with the kids happily splashing, dogs having a blast and yeah, some very pretty girls in skimp bikinis. Oh and those guys throwing the football... it's all there. On a sunny afternoon, this is a great spot to drop anchor for a few hours. Enjoy!
