It has taken us some time to build a team of ladies. The day my mother-in-law was suppose to have a care person the agency called to tell me the woman would not be coming today and that it was not working out for her. I do not have a problem that is was not working out with care person, but I do that have a problem that she gave us no notice. If she had said I will be available today and next week and then my service will be done; I would have understood. Then right after I was given this information, I was told by the agency that the team had talked and that it was not working for them either. The schedule was too difficult. I feel the same about this as the care person, give me two weeks notice. This was very unprofessional. Enriched Life made a conscious decision to leave my mother-in-law without care. She formed a satisfactory rapport with me over the phone, She repeatedly assured me she was supervising her staff. She reported to me she did supervision visits with her staff frequently. With her being a professional peer I believed her, to my dismay. My parent never meet her nor spoke to her on the phone, The care my parent received was far below the standard. Her staff member charged my father money for things which was part of his care plan, in addition; she did not show for 2 weeks leaving my parent uncared for. They had many excuses and assured me the girl would be terminated because she has been a problem in the past with other client. the Owner/RN did offer to pay back the funds her staff member took from my elderly parent but never. She also assured me prompt replacement, it took 5 days. The replacement staff member went to my parents' home and was there a total of 10-15 min. and never showed up for the rest of the week,. This was brought to the Owner/RN attention, her excuse was the staff member lived too far away that she found someone else who could start the next Monday. Needless to say My parent and I decided to no longer use the company. My parent was a private paying client and had to pay for services in advance. The Owner/RN has not refunded our payments. I attempted to contact her numerous times, to no avail she does not answer my call or text messages nor does any other staff member from her office. As a professional courtesy I allowed ample time ( 6 months ) for her to rectify this issue. Shame on them for taking advantage of an disabled veteran and any other senior or client she may have also taken advantage of. I have added to my review secondary to the Owner attempting to accuse me of fabricating my story. I do have several correspondence with her. I have attached one. below she acknowledges that the second employee has lied and no been seeing my Father and how he would not have to pay for November and part of december. these monthly checks were paid in advance. my father did not care to use her company further. she never returned funds and is now being retaliatory. Instead of taking responsibility and doing the right thing. protect your loved ones and avoid this company.

We needed to make some changes quickly and to manage everything from long distance. We were so lucky to have found Brightstar to do this for us. They have been amazing!! We were very wary of home care businesses since we had heard some of them had bad reputations, so I researched thoroughly before hiring Brightstar. They have done everything that they promised from day one. And I have requested a myriad of changes and additions and they have all been done immediately. I can't tell you how much I have depended on them for mom's care, especially since we're not there in person. And I do know that they have done everything that they said that they did since we now call mom about 6 times a day. I am now very confident that mom is being taken care of properly and we know she is happy with her new caregivers, since she tells us.
