False Advertisement…read more I paid $456 for a package advertised as including two professional cleanings, but what I received was completely misleading and honestly infuriating. At my first appointment on September 22, 2025, the hygienist only cleaned half of my teeth in about 30 minutes and told me to come back later in the week to finish. Then the office claimed that this second visit would count as my "second cleaning." So basically, they tried to count one cleaning split into two sessions as the two cleanings I paid for. That's like paying for two burritos and being given one burrito cut in half -- it's absurd. This whole situation was incredibly stressful, frustrating, and felt like a complete scam. It honestly ruined my week trying to sort it out. Their own brochure clearly states "two professional cleanings," yet I only got half of one. The experience left me feeling deceived and taken advantage of, and I would strongly warn others to stay away or double-check everything before paying.

Insurance: The office confirmed my eligibility with Delta Dental prior to my appointment, and billed my insurance following my appointment. Any out-of-pocket expenses not covered by my insurance will be billed , to me, directly. Dental Cleaning: The dental hygienist was friendly, professional, and incredibly thorough. All the procedures, x-rays, and dental treatment options were explained in detail. I received the best cleaning I ever had and my mouth feels so fresh! Dental Examination: The dentist reviewed all my records along with input provided by the dental hygienist shared or identified during my cleaning. I was provided an explanation of treatment options to address specific dental issues, and the dentist reviewed my dental health with me. I was given an opportunity to ask questions or raise any concerns. The visit was not rushed and all the staff took time to listen and understand the patient. Unique Practice: The best part of this practice, to me, is the warm staff, many of which are related to one another. You can feel the hospitality and welcoming family vibe.

A visit with Dr. Boyte and team is always an amazing experience. There is so much unknown to me…read morethat is going on in my mouth; bacteria, inflammation, tartar, decay. I've always been very tentative about dental care, it's not something I looked forward to. Until recently. Now, I appreciate my every-6-month visit to Dr. Boyte, and the benefits that provide it. Dr. Boyte has a rare skill; the capacity to share and convey incredibly dense, yet understandable, 'data' about what is going on in my mouth. Dr. Boyte speaks in specific, precisely worded, perfectly structured, terms, always assuring the pace of delivery is synchronized with my pace of absorption. One notices and appreciates the precision and tone conveyed by healthcare providers who are graced with rare communication skills; it conveys an assuring depth of knowledge. After the assessment, we share thoughts on strategies for maintenance (or treatment as the case may demand), and agree on the care that will be provided. Experience only enhances natural talent, so as a patient I appreciate being on the receiving side of Dr. Boyte's practice. Always top notch, but now after 20 years+, the continuity of two decades of care from a rare talent is an undisclosed benefit that is gratefully appreciated. Perhaps what is equally impressive is that "all" that usually follows the informal chat about kids, travel, activities, a current event or two, while recalling personal details shared incidentally at one of my previous appointments. It is a twice-a-year "conversation" that I appreciate and cherish because through these visits and treatments by Dr. Boyte, not only do I get ultra-high quality dental care, but I have an informal record of my life's continuity, expressed in hour-long visits, every six months.

Still stand by what I wrote over a year ago…read more I feel like when my life is constantly changing having certain things remain stable through my life are really nice to reflect on. One of those is Dr. Hashimoto's office. I've been here a handful of times this new year for jaw issues that he's been working on with me. One of the reasons why I will always suggest Dr. Hashimoto is because of how methodical he is in explaining what he's doing. He walks you through every procedure no matter how big or small. The hygienists here are always lovely, as well as Valerie and Lisa! Lisa is a new face to me at least, but a welcome addition. One example I'll give is a recent one. I have jaw locking that's due from stress/potential clenching at night. I came in for a visit in which Dr. Hashimoto worked my jaws a bit and I ended up having my jaw lock as he was working on my mouth. His concern was so apparent, it was like an automatic switch. He made sure my mouth wasn't opening to wide, he had Alley put a little gauze in my mouth to keep my mouth open without having me attempt to do so myself. I'm one of those patients, no matter how uncomfortable I say I'm okay because I know I can get through it. This jaw locking was probably my first experience with pain in the seat. It was reassuring to feel his genuine concern in that moment. Sometimes you read horror stories about doctors who act in an unprofessional manner and disregard the comfort of their patients. You won't experience that here. Dr. Hashimoto is witty and engaging. His staff becomes a part of your life in a way. You ask about their kids, ask about the holidays, you exchange stories. It's reassuring and comforting. If you're on the hunt in Sacramento, look no further. I moved down to LA almost three years ago and I still refuse to go anywhere else.
