Laguna Beach Walks - Art Tours Near Me

I love Laguna Beach! Yes, it is always super crowded but it's a small city so that's what you should expect. I would say parking is a hassle, which it is, but I've been through much worse. I never get lucky enough to find street parking although most of it is metered and that's always annoying, but they have plenty of affordable parking lots so definitely just pay up. We didn't spend more than $5 for parking so for a beach day that is totally worth it. There are lots of shops and restaurants to visit while you are in the area. I definitely recommend walking along the beach cliffside. There is a paved trailed and the view is gorgeous. To me, it's just as pretty as Hawaii! We chose to eat at Urth Cafe during our most recent visit but the other restaurants I have visited have also been very pleasent. They have good quality food and the prices are expensive but definitely affordable for an ocean view. I would recommend to arrive early. Maybe the crowds wont be as bad plus you need to plan for traffic when you leave Laguna Beach. We were caught in a traffic jam when we left in the afternoon and it seemed like it was backed up the entire day. But like I said, I have been through much worse and Laguna Beach is still always worth the visit. Will be back soon! read more

Hi, so I was at Laguna on Friday with my friend. And at crystal cove yesterday with my parents and I just want to say something. I was enjoying the nice weather and all. But if you guys are gonna open the beaches again after what we're going through / the corona virus please make sure people wear their face masks. Very few people had them and there were tons of people. It was crowded. also don't charge for parking when it's expensive for a short amount of time when people just want to walk around and a lot of people have lost their jobs/business bc of the virus so please be more considerate. I had no idea that there was so much interesting info about the art and artists in Laguna Beach. I found all the stories fascinating. It was also nice to learn about little unknown areas that probably only the locals are aware of - it made me want to come back for the other tours (fitness walk and the family walk??) as I am sure they are equally enjoyable. Laguna Beach is beautiful! Walking along the cliffs and through the parks made for an amazing day. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to endure it, but it was actually easier than I'd expected. Had some great weather on a picture perfect day yesterday in Laguna Beach. We walked along this path which is beautiful and scenic. It is clean and well maintained and plenty of restrooms along the path as well. On a peak summer day like it was it gets very crowded but it creates the buzz that you expect from this type of scene. Spent the whole afternoon here! The weather was perfect and we got lucky enough to find a parking spot. Get there early or prepare to walk! Not a bad thing if you do end up walking because there are shops galore! The art gallery's took my breath away. The beach was pretty clean and very lively. I never realized Laguna Beach had so much interesting public art. Now, thanks to Janelle and her tour I feel like a Laguna art expert! Plus, I learned a lot about Laguna history (who knew that the famous Main Beach lifeguard tower was an old gas station office building?). Janelle was so accommodating too, even went so far as to push back our tour start time so we could avoid the rainy morning.
