We were pleasantly surprised with the large space and inventory. I would agree that somethings may have been overpriced while others seemed like a bargain. However, when we went to the register, the cashier let us know that all the items were actually way less expensive than we thought. Habitat Restore is such a great place in general and I was really happy with this location. Let's start with the parking lot. Although it is a bit tight, the traffic all goes in one direction which is super helpful and the entrance to the building is stairs but there's also a ramp going in, which makes this place handicap accessible and easy to bring home rolling or heavy things from the store. Upon entering the store, I noticed that there are huge signs hanging from the ceiling telling you where things are located which made navigating through the warehouse easy peasy. I was on a mission and immediately found what I was looking for. I talked with a staff member who was friendly and was delighted as two customers who happened to be leaving at the same time as I was, helped me bring my stuff to the car. Bonus! I will be visiting here regularly until I find a dresser for my husband and a lounge chair that I love for our spacious living room. Great place.

I organized a children's book drive at work in honor of Dolly Parton's birthday. I asked a friend…read morewho works in publishing and with local charities where the best place to donate books would be and Cleveland Kid's Book Bank was her top suggestion. CKBB has distributed over 4.8 million books to children in the area since 2016. While they do have a small team of employees they also have a lot of volunteers. I personally am very excited to volunteer here in the future. They have about 20 drop box locations in addition to their main location where the books are housed. I dropped off our donation of 425 books and they let me come inside and take a little look around and get a picture. They do have specific hours for drop off but if you call when you get there they will come out and take your donation.

They let me know when they were on the way, & when they were here, they were extremely polite, professional & friendly. According to what I have personally experienced, I don't believe they deserve the 4.8-star rating…read morethey currently have. About a month ago, they came out and planted new grass around my flower beds, mulched my flower beds, planted some arborvitaes, and created a new landscape bed around the arborvitaes. When they planted the grass around my flower beds, they were sloppy and got grass into my flower beds, which I've never had before. They did seem to do a good job of planting the arborvitaes. They did a really hurried and sloppy job of putting the new landscape bed around my arborvitae. Within weeks, tons of weeds showed up in the landscape bed. Mulch in the new landscape bed was barely 1 inch thick if that and washed away with recent rains we've had. They told me they put 2 inches down but that's not true at all. I reached out to them about my issues; they didn't really seem to care. They eventually sent out their operations manager to take a look, and he told me it was happening because of the type of mulch that was put around my landscape bed. The thing is, they recommended this type of mulch for what I wanted. If it was going to wash away and not be a good choice, they should have mentioned that to me as that is why I paid them. They then wanted to charge me extra to remulch the landscape bed that they originally messed up. They also suggested I pay extra for removing the grass that they planted in my flower beds and the weeds that they didn't properly take care of. I refuse to pay for more mulch to fix something they didn't do properly the first time. Because I am unable to remove the weeds and I want my flower beds looking nice. Due to this I begrudgingly paid the extra for the landscape maintenance package. Someone came out and did a quick spray of my flower beds and said the weeds would be gone in a few days. It's been eight days later, and there is really not that much of a change in the weeds except that they've grown taller and the grass is also still growing in my flower beds. For the landscape maintenance package that cost over $100 a month, I would've thought they would've done more. Right now, I'm going to continue the landscape maintenance package to hope that they actually do the right thing and fix this. But I am not very happy with what they have done so far! The funny ending to this is they sent me an email asking me to review them on their website. After trying it on several different devices and computers i've come to the conclusion that review site does not let you submit a review. It does not work. Maybe it's because they don't want anyone to actually submit a review, but I don't know for sure. As you can probably tell, I am not happy with what I've seen so far.
