Don't get me wrong, they waste a lot of space on that stuff. But if you just want to kill a couple hours looking at random tools or knickknacks, this is the place for you. Also, of the Restores I have been to, this has by far the best/largest selection of wood. Prices are also crazy good and they run sales all the time.

The furniture section is set up beautifully --it looks look a furniture showroom. The furniture quality is excellent and well priced. Instead of paying $800- 1000 for a new, fake wood, cheaply made kitchen/dining room table set with chairs, you pay a fraction of that price for real quality wood furniture. They also have couches, chairs, tables, lamps, cabinets and desks. I purchased a quality kitchen table with two leaves. Ellen helped me remove the leaves so I could see how the table worked and see the differences in size with and without each of the leaves. She answered my questions and helped me set up delivery. She was super helpful--thank you Ellen. The table arrived the following Monday. The two gentleman who delivered it were great (a big thank you to them). I've been to the store on several occasions and there are always new items coming into the store. They have a nice selection of used hard and softback books (adult, teen and children), kitchen utensils, brand name dishware and dish sets (Lennox), clothing (including shoes, hats, and coats), jewelry, framed artwork, holiday decorations, figurines, games and toys, and much more. In addition to the table, I've purchased several bracelets, an outdoor garden statue (I had seen it before on Amazon but the Amazon price was too high for me), books, and a dog trinket box. It is well worth your time to stop in and check out all the well priced quality items they have.

There were a lot more people involved (about 75 people), which made things a bit confusing and hectic. I felt as though the Akron-Canton Foodbank floor coordinators were quite rude when you asked them questions of where certain frozen foods/meats should go. It was like they were yelling at you for not knowing which cardboard box the item should be sorted in. I was just trying to help and not put the item in the wrong box. I felt productive after 3 hours of volunteering, but the in person interaction was not as expected.

Their selection of wood is nearly non-existent unless you want garbage trim. However, they definitely have a better selection of used tools than other Restore stores. The staff is friendly, prompt, and seem to really enjoy what they do. The customer walks through sliding glass doors and sees an array of sorted furniture from chairs to coffee tables to couches & dressers. You will also find books, kitchenware, home restoration tools, new paints and various furnishings to bring your home or organization back to life. When the customer finds piece of furniture they like, simply bring the tag attached to the piece to the front counter for a quick & easy checkout experience. The friendly worker will give you two copies of the hols slip: one to place on the piece of furniture and the other to take with you to the pick up area. To get to the pick up area, drive your vehicle around to the back side of the building where friendly staff will assist in loading your new to you furniture into your vehicle.

Very little wood, and kind of on the pricey side anyhow. There is an entire huge room filled with random crap on shelves that you must sort through. It kind of reminds me of Bin Treasures, if Bin Treasures only sold electric drills without battery packs. There's .. a lot of those here. Seriously, what am I supposed to do with an electric drill that doesn't include batteries? Nothing! That's what! I think they also sell furniture or whatever. I'm not saying it isn't worth going to, just temper your expectations. This isn't the Akron Restore we're talking about.
