I was overjoyed to find McInerney's on Yelp, especially after having a bad experience ordering through FTD a week ago and having that order canceled because FTD could not locate a florist to fill it. McInerney's website offers a beautiful selection of floral arrangements at various price points; I chose a gorgeous bouquet I thought my niece would enjoy and paid for it online. When the shop sent me a copy of the invoice, I noticed that part of my niece's address was missing. I was concerned that the flowers would not be delivered and phoned the shop. I learned that the bouquet was on its way for delivery, and that the delivery driver did indeed have my niece's complete address. I appreciated being kindly reassured that all was well. My niece loved the arrangement, and I loved that she was pleased. I commend McInerney's for their outstanding customer service as well as the care they took in creating and delivering the arrangement. I anticipate using McInerney's many times over the next four years; giving and receiving flowers are part of my niece's love language. They were so kind, gracious, friendly, timely, and professional from start to finish of our planning process, and the final results showed evidence of all of those things. We worked with Jane and she was an absolute dream. In full disclosure, flowers were never one of those things my husband and I intended to splurge on at the wedding. A few wonderfully-executed pieces to give our ceremony some vibrancy, a couple of table settings, and my bouquet were really all that we needed. But because we had put so much work into personalizing every last detail of our wedding, we really wanted to make those floral details that we did have fit in to the personality of our entire day. Our budget for this portion of the wedding was pretty tight, but that didn't deter Jane just one bit. She listened to what we wanted, what was most important to us, and what we could do financially, and she made all of that happen without batting an eye. Her ideas were so wonderful that we did end up asking her to make two front pieces for the ceremony, and with some minor adjustments she STILL fit that in to our budget. Mind you, all this effort was put in to our wedding even though we were clearly a comparatively small wedding for them...they never once made us feel like we weren't just as important as absolutely every other client. I cannot even put into words how happy we were with what Jane and the team put together for us when we saw everything on the morning of the wedding. The bouquet she made for me was perfection, with exactly the styling I asked for, the perfect mix of cream and soft purple tones to the flowers, and a light feel that was easy to carry throughout the day. The front pieces for our ceremony were strikingly beautiful, with wonderful height and diversity of color. The corsages and bouquets for the women in our bridal party were even more lovely than I had hoped they would be, and overall she put so much detail into making sure that every last piece shined. Upon walking in, the shop felt small, but all the little nooks and corners made it feel large. Something new to see at every turn. They sell some of the softest t-shirts, delightful scented organic soap bars, cutest stuffed toys and fun quirky gifts. My favorite part was the wall of teas and honey. I will definitely return if I have to find a thoughtful and special gift for a birthday, Christmas or baby shower. I liked how each shelf was a vibe. There was a section with "plant lady" gifts for the friend or loved one that is talented in the garden. They had a rather large area filled will baby clothes, toys, and the recently popular Jellycat plushies (they were SUPER soft). I personally love going to a boutique like this to find a gift rather than ordering online. A Pocket Full of Posies is hidden as I discovered it while on my way to Perk On Main. It's located INSIDE the Main Street Market building. There is, conveniently, a large parking lot with access from the backside of the building. There is also street parking in the front as well, look for the big sign "Main Street Market," sandwiched between Perk On Main and Pokemoto. Parking is $1/hour or free on Sundays.
