We reached out to Radioactive for a quote and the owner, Shaun, got back to us right away. We were given a day to make an appointment and an estimate for the work to be done. They were booking about 2 weeks out, which was fine for us. The night before our appointment, Shaun called me and confirmed that we were coming. The next day, we arrived and the car was quickly taken in. We decided to wait at the shop, as there is a small waiting area with about three chairs. We could see why they were booking out, people after people came in looking for parts and/or dropping off their cars. It took a little bit longer than expected, but we were totally fine with that. The results were fantastic and we couldn't be happier. Everything was run through the car and there are zero wires showing. They were able to hook it up straight to the battery with the fuses kit we purchased. Highly recommend the team at Radioactive for anything car audio related. Also found out they do tinting in both carbon and ceramic, remote starts, alarms, custom subwoofer enclosures, and custom LED lighting. And even better, they offer a lifetime warranty on installation labor and tinting.

This shop has been around sense I was a kid and I've heard mixed reviews but I can't say anything but let do it they do exactly what's done and if there's any issues they get to you prioritized. I've spent around 20k here over the last 6+ years and technically just keeps getting better and so do they. Had a stereo installed. It keeps disconnecting from my phone. Return #1) They said it needed an…read moreupdate and it was "updated" I left the store before I made it to West Hills, it did it again. I called scheduled another appointment. I requested while it was being checked, adding the back up camera. #2) I'll admit my faults, I left the locking wheel lug 'key' at home. I rescheduled for the next weekend. The tire needed to be removed for the camera. #3) Arrived was told the reason my phone disconnects from the radio, the cable isn't what came with my phone. I explained, the cable that came with my phone is USB C and the one in my car is not. But I'll pay for the upgrade / change. I was treated like I was ignorant. I was never told if the upgrade / change was even possible (now this radio hadn't been in my car a year at this point). He said he had a cable but it was too short. Then I was told the camera install would need holes drilled in my car because of the way it was made. I asked about other mounting locations, I was told it wouldn't line up. I asked about ordering the cable for the radio and was blown off. After leaving I'm dismissed tears, my other half called and was told it would be made right. The cable would be ordered (they were also that day suppose to check on a console install) the console would be looked at, they promised they would make it "RIGHT". I've never heard back and it's been over 3 months. So I'm dealing with a faulty stereo and no option for a camera. Almost $1,000 for nothing. Unhappy and I will never recommend or enter this store again. Run run fast and hard.

So just got my car back from them, had them install an alarm (from them), Apple CarPlay radio and…read morebackup camera. Along with the alarm I had them do a keyless entry for my door locks, so they also installed new actuators. It took a while (3 weeks) but they were having trouble with getting the actuators to work and its a 1985 Trans AM so this was fairly understandable (I'll get back to this). Its a custom type car and as such a little more difficult to deal with so they actually passed on installing my rear 6x9's eventually and I also understood. So the issues and why they are getting one star from me. I'll start with my missing sun visors and the fabric pulled away from my top (what remains from the head liner as it's a convertible). The fabric was pulled away from the roof and the visors were missing as stated, when I pointed it out the guy that I was dealing with went in the back and didn't find them, came out and told me so and stated he wouldn't have messed with the visors any how so I must be mistaken (The car is fairly new to me but I know I used the visors when I drove the car before dropping it off). Almost had me convinced I was crazy and yeah why would they be messing with my visor. So I drive the car home a bit frustrated but now have the working radio in my car, I ask Siri to change the song and she can't hear me, they were messing with the visors because they needed to install the external microphone which is also missing. I get home and do an inventory of what is still in the box (not the microphone) and find that they failed to install the engine lock relay with the alarm and I also have some additional wires that are not installed one is a fuse and one I'm not sure what it is but I am now concerned that nothing was installed properly. Returning to the actuators issue, they had me come in over the weekend (custom car and I had to show them how to open the trunk). While there the door panels were still off and the actuators were in fact struggling to work, I had the opportunity to reach in and feel the back of the locking mechanism after talking to the guy he sprayed some WD40 back there and they worked (at least on the passanger side while I was there) so obvious lubrication issue. Get the car back and they still dont work. For clarity purposes the guy I was taking to and about most of the time is the guy that stays up front, not the guy that was actually working on my car. Speaking about the front though, they almost never answer the phone, they use a text messaging system from some 602 area code but it must be web based as I have gotten service error messages from it, and the person that types the messages is vague and unclear (doesn't really answer) when answering. Over all, this is a very frustrating experience and not worth the money and time it took. I sent a text with the major issues and left a voice mail so will see how they respond. I will likely update this after.

Will start off saying the welds and bolt on parts on my Scott's frame are very nice, but…read moreunfortunately the ability to follow a customers build sheet is pretty lacking. If I was buying a front suspension kit I would probably give a 5 star review, but as far as a full frame I can barely justify a half star review. Problems I have with my Super Scam frame are - Rear Rails: The rails were pinched without prior consultation (factory width was requested, although I wasn't charged for this unwanted modification) and they lack the mandatory "double kick" required for the vehicle to lay frame. This necessitates extensive modifications, including installing C-notches and relocating bag and shock mounts to accommodate the required extra 6" of travel.   - Differential Width: The rear differential was built 4 inches narrower than specified.   - Mounting Points: Only three of the eight running board mounting holes were correctly positioned, with several left undrilled.   - Engine and Radiator Fitment: The engine mounts require a 2-inch relocation to accommodate a stock-dimension water pump and radiator without any type of cooling fan. Furthermore, the radiator mount requires cutting and re-welding to achieve the correct angle.   - Plumbing: New brake and fuel lines must now be fabricated to accommodate the necessary frame modifications. I honestly thought that if I built multiple 35-40 Ford frames per year I'd be able to put out a properly built frame. I've emailed, called and sent photos back and forth about the rear of the frame (the only complaint I had addressed) for 2 months before it was admitted that the frame was built incorrectly, and at that time I was told they wanted to help fix the issue and would ship me a C notch and appropriate fuel/brake line and hardware to extend the lines over the C notch for me to install at my cost and time. For two more months biweekly I would call (as my emails got no response) to be told they'd find out what the hold up to ship the required parts was and get back to me, and no response until I called back in two weeks to be told the same thing. After 140 days from the day it was admitted the frame was incorrectly built, I sent a email stating that I was sourcing the required parts locally to address my C notch project, which promptly I was called and sent an email again stating they wanted to help with making it right. I have given up on Scott's to do anything for me, I don't have another 140 days to get the same run around story, it's unfortunate the lack of customer service and willingness to stand behind their work and products. Unfortunately being almost 2000 miles away doesn't give me the option to return the frame to them to rectify the problems so it leaves it up to me to fix all the shortcomings with no compensation.

The frame had to be rebuilt by another shop. The steering geometry was not even usable. The welds were pretty, but did not penetrate. The frame was very weak and had to completely redo 90% of it. They offer ZERO to correct.
