Submitted a complaint by email then on website. Got a response on that website to contact them…read moredirectly for Followup. So far no direct response even after multiple attempts on my part. My conclusion is that they really don't care and the one response on their website was just to appear responsive.

Unacceptable Experience at Oak Ridge Location…read more I had a very frustrating and disappointing experience at the PureMagic Car Wash in Oak Ridge (360 S Illinois Ave) on April 5, 2025, around 10-11 AM. I stopped by to use the free air station, which is advertised as available to the public. However, the layout of this location forces all traffic through the car wash line--there's no clearly marked exit or way to access the air station directly. There were over 10 cars in line, and I had no intention of using the wash--I simply needed air for my son's bicycle tire. Since there was no "No U-turn" sign, I safely made a U-turn in a spacious area to access the air station. A manager came out and warned me that I would have to buy a car wash next time just to get to the air area. I tried to explain the poor layout and lack of proper signage, but she instead told me I was banned from the property--all for trying to use the free air. When I called her out for being unfair, she escalated the situation by calling the police on her walkie-talkie. The police didn't even engage with me, clearly understanding that no law was broken. In my opinion, this setup should be considered a traffic violation--it effectively traps drivers in a service line with no legal or safe option to exit without making a purchase. This is a serious concern, especially for families or people with mobility issues who need to access the air station without being stuck behind a car wash line. This location needs better signage, a clear exit route, and serious training in customer service. Banning someone and calling the police over such a minor issue is outrageous and reflects very poorly on the management.
