Lafferty funeral home also has a funeral museum. It's free but by appointment only. The funeral home is priority. There is a large family collection dating back from the mid-1800's on display such as horse-drawn carriages, embalming equipment, many different coffins, pictures, clothing & certificates of 6 generations. One of the family members gave us a private tour. She was fully of knowledge about the family history explaining everything. I recommend this place for adults, this isn't a place of interest for younger children.
Lee-Armstrong Cemetery is just behind the museum. A small iron fence surrounds about 14 graves and outside of the fence is 3 crypt like boxes. read more
