My mother-in-law bought a house through agent Szadrii Medina, was told she has to use her mortgage person and her inspector person. Well turns out she got ripped off on the mortgage and wasn't even allowed to put in the bid she wanted, she was told full price from her own agent. Well months later we found out the boiler and furnace were complete junk and the well under the house that no one ever mentioned flooded. When trying to reach out to her she won't even call back. The owner never received the inspection report, she was just told everything was ok. This is by far the worst experience and this agent is a horrible person. Attempted to buy a house where the seller was represented by Shawna Hansen of Later Realty. There were problems with the title and realtor was in complete denial. She accused us of not being able to get a mortgage, frequently called our mortgage company, and was poor at communicating with us, the actual buyers, and our realtor. Seller ended the sale because she felt that she was being ignored, even though our lawyer was in contact with her lawyer regularly. Then the very next day the realtor tried to convince us to revive the P&S. We were not interested in doing business with an unreliable seller. We found out today that she LIED to her broker and told him that we were the ones that called off the sale, despite us having a signed document from the SELLER's lawyer saying otherwise. Avoid Shawna Hansen if you are buying in Middlesex County Massachusetts. read more

I did not personally Hire Laer Real Estate, Thank goodness. But we had to work with them, Specifically Lisa Anderson. She Represented the buyer and we were the seller of the home. She was terrible. She was cold, Rude, and very aggressive. She threatened us all the time, that they would walk away from the deal. Made outrageous demands and she lied about a lot on the inspection report. We called the company and got a lot of the truth. She approached me in my own home and was very rude and aggressive and started arguing with me. She had no right to approach me. Our agent, their own companies they hired for Mold and Inspections- none of them liked her and thought she was very rude. I am making a report against her! Please think before you use Lisa Anderson. I bought a house with an agent from LAER. Two weeks after closing I needed assistance with an unforeseen issue. The agent was unresponsive and unwilling to help. Stacey Alcorn, CEO and Broker, acted in the same manner. I do not recommend, unless you only expect a purely transactional service. Very unprofessional. read more

This is the most unprofessional business/ realtor service, especially the agent Stephen Morris. He is not responsive and would rather take vacations than help his clients. I signed a lease with him on Sept 1st 2022. It is now 9/13/22 and I still have not received keys for the apartment or an explanation to what is going on. Waiting for their response has put me in a position that I have to vacate my apartment and my children and we are left to hang and figure out housing. After looking at their reviews it has come to light they do not help people of color. read more

If you are white, go for them. If you are of color (black, asian, etc) forget them. They will not allow us to enter open house, leave us stay outside in cold weather, request all your information. That's how I was treated by Claudia Galeas. And they will never admit that they are extremely racist. read more

I would never recommend this real estate company to anyone! I recently hired them to sell my condo and they did an awful job! My broker, M. Bekkenhuis was more interested in the personal needs of the buyer rather than getting me, the seller, the best possible offer. This is the worst company ever. I was an employee there and they has some lady that was only there for 6 weeks. She was rude and incompetent. Then after I went out and spent hundreds of dollars on new clothes to follow there very discriminated dress policy they told me that my ttime there was only a trial period. Plus the whole time i was there training there agents were talking so bad about their clients and tbese are the people that are entrusting them with selling and buying a home for them. I had an absolutely wonderful experience with LAER realtor, Lisa Biggar. I was a first-time home-buyer with NO clue what I was getting myself into and Lisa stepped in, walked me through everything with endless patience and a huge smile. We walked through all the steps, she helped me by pointing out houses, and sometimes issues with houses, that I may not have noticed. She took us on endless house searches and, when we found OUR house, she did loads of research on it to make sure we knew exactly what we were getting ourselves into. Lisa was by our side, every step of the way, with encouragement when we needed it, reality checks, loads of experience, some common sense (when we needed it), and some really sound advice. She was always on top of things and the communication was amazing. She would text, email, call, and respond immediately when we had questions. When we had issues with our bank's mortgage broker she stepped in and reached out to a friend she had at the same bank and her friend helped us resolve the issue. I really felt like she was in our corner every step of the way, and we were by no means buying a lavish home. She wasn't able to be with us the day we signed our papers, but she called us and sent a coworker to be with us for it, and sent a bottle of champagne to celebrate. Lisa Biggar was just exactly the right realtor, just exactly when we needed her. I have recommended her to all our friends and those who have used her have loved her too. I know that when it comes time to sell our house and buy another that Lisa is the only realtor I'll use. Oh, and Lisa helped my parents sell their home and buy another just recently and they had just wonderful things to say about her as well. She was so patient, and encouraging, and helpful with them.
