Great lunch at Ladybird Taco! Delicious tacos, generously portioned - 2 was plenty for me. I had a #7 and #8 and tried some of a #12. All were great, #8 was probably my fave. We had some chips and guac - can't go wrong there. I had a watermelon agua fresca - very refreshing. We must have come at the most popular time of the day and week because there was a shortage of parking anywhere nearby and we had to wait a bit to get a table after we ordered, but once we grabbed a spot to sit we were in good shape! There was a laid-back, pleasant vibe other than the secret competition going on for tables amongst those waiting, lol. We'll be back next again on a future visit to Nashville, I'm sure! read more

Lady Bird is my go-to stop for breakfast tacos. Being a Texan, I need a good tortilla, southern hospitality and bomb queso - luckily Lady Bird tackles all three. I've been to the original location but was so happy to see they opened one in East. The team there is beyond friendly, the service is quick and the overall atmosphere is light and welcoming. There's even a parking lot right behind the restaurant, which is easy-to-access and affordable. On my most recent visit, I had a chance to try their "Butter Me Up" Chai Latte, which was part of the 2025 Conversation Hearts Coffee Crawl. This was not-too-sweet and delightfully creamy ... they even topped it with some adorable heart sprinkles for Valentine's Day. My go-to taco is their classic Bean and Cheese. At $3/taco, it's a budget-friendly vegetarian option that's filling and flavorful. Finally made my way over to the new Ladybird Taco location in East Nashville. The building is great - it's a solid size, with lots of parking in the back. The store has one door for entering and one for exiting that felt backwards though. Food was good, as expected. I love the #1 and #4 breakfast burritos, though I wish they were bigger! Ladybird has been on my Nashville taco bucket list since it opened, and it was worth the wait. I'm a new vegetarian, and usually taco joints have a couple of options. At Ladybird, I was inundated with SIX! I'm very indecisive when it comes to food, so it took quite a while to narrow down to my three: the #5 (egg, refried beans, avocado and potato), the #10 (grilled queso fresco, rajas, cabbage and pico) and #13 (black beans, marinated corn, cabbage and patron mayo). All three were delicious, but the #10 and #13 were fighting for the top spot. I loved the unique flavors of the grilled queso fresco paired with the cabbage and pico. The patron mayo on the #13 was so good as was the marinated corn, which was right off the cob. The #5 was good, too, but it was more of a standard breakfast taco, which you can never go wrong with. The three self-serve salsas were amazing and elevated all three of the tacos (it's fun to mix and match). I also tried the chips with queso and guacamole -- delicious. And I'm so glad I tried the cinnamon chips. It was the perfect end to the meal. I still have three vegetarian tacos to try -- plus a few other menu items, so I will definitely be back soon. read more

This place is a delicious and cozy little spot for a lunch with friends or out of office work session. I popped in on a Thursday afternoon and was greeted by the friendliest staff! The restaurant is clean, the food is great (I had a marg and cowboy salad), and the service was quick. They lacked flavor, the scrambled eggs were hard, and the potatoes reminded me of the fried potato sticks instead of hash browns. They were extremely hard and crispy. Definitely not what I expected when ordering. Each taco lacked seasoning overall. The highlight of my order was the stack of tortillas and cheese. You can't go wrong with that or the watermelon Fresca. This was a pickup order and was greeted upon want to find my food hot and ready to go. Finally tried this restaurant. It was so good. We ordered the farmer salad, kids chicken quesadilla, the #11 vegan taco. This came with potatoes, black beans, avocado, pico and corn tortilla. It's exactly what you'd expect. Expensive average gentrification tacos. If you have one of these opening up in your area, prepare for your property taxes to go up. Tried it 1 time and got 4 tacos and a coffee and it was like 50$ including tip. Staff were of course nice but cmon it was very basic average food. Came by since I didn't get a chance to try it when there was a Yelp event, but it's been on my radar ever since! It's the corner building of a little strip mall that's in progress, and they have parking out back, free for customers. The menu here is really....unusual. There's coffee & breakfast tacos, but also margaritas and bbq style tacos and salads. So, quite a mix. They close at 4pm, too, so more like coffee shop hours. Despite the identity crisis, inside was really clean and the food was really good! I got the #8 Taco; a lunch taco with brisket, avocado, and pico de gallo. This was outrageously good and had plenty of food! I don't normally love brisket, but I liked that it didn't have cheese and just wanted to try one. It came in a flour tortilla and it was good with any of the three salsas they have available. I really liked the jalapeño sauce, which was actually dairy-free, too. I also got the City Slicker Salad with no cheese. It was all pretty good, but it's kind of a take-out joint and they don't chop the salad! Why? As an East Nashville native, Ladybird is a welcome addition to the community. The queso is incredible, and you can get it with chips but PLEASE get it with fresh tortillas! It's to die for. We tried the chorizo breakfast taco and the verde chicken lunch taco and both were delicious. Everything tastes so fresh and full of flavor. I was working a job in the area and this place caught my eye. I love Coffee and I love Tacos but I can't say I've had them both at the same time before I went here. The people are super kind and sweet. I believe the lady's name that helped me was Rudy. And The coffee and taco was amazing. I wish I had time to eat it inside because it looked cozy and chill on the inside of the shop. Food was very yummy. Fresh tortillas and tortilla chips!! I got breakfast tacos #2 and #5, my boyfriend got a pork taco and a brisket taco (I don't remember what numbers sorry!!) and we got chips and queso. Their jalapeño sauce was veryyy yummy and not over the top spicy. Queso is DELICIOUS. Definitely will be back. The only negative is that I was not a big fan of my iced coffee. We accidentally came in a few days early and even though they weren't open yet (still training staff), they gave us tortillas and some tacos/chips on the house.
