Christmas pudding ice cream, maple syrup ice cream too and the cheese board...everything was so tasty!! Hotels like this a real gem, every single member of staff were knowledgeable about the area, hotel and food they were also very polite and very friendly. We will return very soon....now how about starting mail ordering scotch eggs??

My 'Assiette of Spring' was a celebration of the season with purple sprouting, asparagus, morels, wild garlic and a slow cooked hen's egg combining into a wonderful visual and sensory delight. This standard was more than followed in the following courses of locally reared Veal (with sweetbread raviolo & more morel mushrooms) and a white/dark chocolate pave. Second, the wine was superb. The sommelier managed to find the perfect match for my relatively light veal dish, and my companion's richer duck and venison mains which was so delicious that I have already looked up where I can buy some more locally. Third, a member of staff went far above the call of duty by driving us the ten minute drive home when we were left stranded in Hambleton with no taxi available for more than 1 1/2 hours. This kind of commitment deserves to be shouted from every corner and I duly intend to do just that!

Also there's a nice set up of teas, coffee and Nespresso, with milk packets and biscuits (cookies). We overlook the path to the car park outside, there's good natural light along with blackout curtains for when you need to sleep in. If you need a place to sleep several guests/family members, and then host a brunch in the morning, this would be perfect.

Now, the owner of that lets anyone to rent a room, spend night or just have supper in very romantic place. Food was delicious! I had the best dessert I've ever ate! Here you may feel like a lord, qeen or princes, so grab your prince and have a magical time. Wadenhoe House is good to have wedding party, christening, birthday or just romantic dinner for two. I would highly recommend for anyone.
