I have been going to Ladd for the past two years and absolutely love the care their team provides! I was told by another oral surgeon when I was living out of state that a surgery was necessary. Today during a visit for a cleaning, I got new xrays and the oral surgeon (don't recall his name but absolutely wonderful person) took the time to sit down and explain why the surgery wasn't necessary and why he wouldn't recommend doing a procedure that is painful and not necessary. That is something I didn't previously receive from last last office I visited Carla, the hygienist, was absolutely wonderful at getting me taken care of and making sure all questions were answered. My daughter went there to have her tooth pulled for dentures. We paid $1000.00 for the service. She was in extreme pain because she said she felt everything and the doctor didn't seem to care. Then to top this off he didn't pull all of her teeth like he was paid to do. He recommended her to another dentist. What the heck? Will not advice anyone to go there. Quite possibly the worst customer experience. Had a confirmed appointment and was canceled.

A family member went here for dental care and needed a couple fillings. A few days later we returned seeking help with continuing pain. They were dismissive of them and almost seemed not to believe the assertion. On top of that, they charged me for the visit! The problem persisted until we visited a more competent dentist. LADD told us that my brother's front teeth (upper and lower) would need to be pulled (mainly due to an absurd amount of crowding). They kept telling him that they would absolutely get partial dentures approved through his state insurance. So he went ahead and got them pulled like recommended only for LADD to basically tell him he was on his own when insurance denied his partials. This poor kid now is without all his front teeth and having a harder time eating certain things. I'm so ticked off at LADD at this point and will be switching him to the dentist I now go to because of their lies to patients. I highly suggest no one goes there for any dental work. read more

Good luck if you have to call them for anything. Rescheduling is a joke. They can't answer a phone, but they can tell you when your insurance coverage won't pay, & they will suggest things to take you right up to the limit of that insurance, too. read more

I have been going here for several years now and have always had a problem. Every single time something goes wrong. Was there two weeks ago, they fixed a chipped tooth,or was supposed to. Last night I yawned and it chipped off and is very sharp. It's a five minute fix. They can't do anything for a week. Bs read more

Where do I begin with what's wrong? In December 2021 I went for the initial exam & X-rays. They created a treatment plan. On 5/31/22 - I am (was as I've made other arrangements now - July appt.) still waiting for work to begin. Part of the wait might be the VA. Just depends on who was right about where the plan was. I don't think it was submitted right away to the VA because I don't think Ladd even billed the VA until I made inquiries in Feb. I watch payments and VA/Optum has been really good about getting providers paid within a month of my visits/or being billed. Ladd didn't appear to get paid until after I managed to get through to talk to someone at Ladd about why I wasn't getting my dental plan worked on. The person who dealt with the VA procedures and billing wasn't in. They were supposed to call me back NLT the next morning with an appointment status update. Never happened. Shortly after that call I received notice they were paid and Ladd began billing me. I tried calling again and waited forever for someone to pick up after their initial automated answer. Never happened. Now, they're still trying to bill me for the leftover portion of the paid bill when they agreed to accept VA payment as payment in full. After a prior lengthy discussion with VA/Optum billing dept, LADD Dental is not supposed to be billing a VA patient. When a company accepts the VA, they agree to accept the payment they receive as full payment. They agree the patient is not responsible for any remaining amount resulting from VA appointments. They are made aware that if the VA feels there is a need for the patient to pay any part of the bill, the VA will pay the bill and bill the patient. We, the VA patients are also instructed in our paperwork that we are not to make any payment to the provider. The VA will bill us if required. He went on to explain there are those who try to go around their agreement with the VA/Optum and bill the patient. Some even threaten to or send it to collections but by their (the provider) acceptance of the agreement, there is no foundation. The patient is not responsible for any portion and VA/Optum will see it is dropped. I think I know what this balance might be, which makes me even madder because after I told her I don't think the VA will pay for this (toothpaste), these are almost her exact words - It's okay, we get samples and I know how the VA works, my husband is a veteran. We'll bill them. Reason I know is, I had someone with me. I asked them what she said & it was almost exactly as I remembered her response. So either way, I should not be hassled with a bill I do not owe. I'm still fuming I couldn't get any work done on my teeth that are continuing to deteriorate. Since the Gulf War, my teeth (and skin) seem to have constant issues regardless of home care. read more

I would not recommend this Dentist Office. I recently had 3 extractions and was not given any instructions on after care. I had to go the weekend without knowing how to care for my extractions other than searching the internet. A week later and my pain is unbearable and I still have to go to work. I go back in and they said all is good it's normal as they joked about my swollen and bruised face saying he really beat me up good. Wouldn't be so funny if it was one of them in extreme pain & not taken seriously. I'm assuming it is most likely from dry socket and they said part of my jaw bone was sticking out of my gum but that is normal even though the pain is now unbearable. They refused to give me any more pain medicine for this. I'm going to have to go to the ER. read more

Very disappointed in the office today and have vowed to never go back. After we arrived I was informed that I could not go back with my child who has severe anxiety at dental appointments and was told to wait in the car. I have accompanying him to every appointment and gone back for every procedure including extractions, cleanings etc. The staff was extremely rude and tried to compare a filling to an operating room. read more

Everyone is very friendly but I have been waiting since November to get my dentures fixed. I called and was told I had to wait for insurance to approve it...how long does it take? They kept telling me they would call me back when insurance notifies them. Well I went some place else and insurance approved it within a week and the following week I had an appointment and what do you know my teeth were fixed. I would never recommend Ladd Dental in Mccordsville to anyone read more

Good work but they back billed me after Medicare even though I was required to pay deductable up front plus my part before procedure. Then 10 mth Later they bill you again. It would have been cheaper to not use insurance at all read more
