This School provides a great service with Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage. Appointments are made…read morethrough emails and you could fill out the intake form prior to the appointment, which is short and easy. I got the Swedish Massage done and my masseuse was great! She took the time and asked me about my problem areas, pressure sensitivity, offered extra blankets, and choice of lotion/oil. The process well explained before she started. Throughout the session she checked on the pressure, temperature of the room, and how I'm feeling. If you have any particular area of concern they will use deep tissue techniques in that area while providing Swedish massage. After the massage homecare instructions were given. I had shoulder/back pain (from strained muscle) and after a few days the pains almost gone. Before you leave, they give a feedback form to rate the experience and the masseuse/masseur. This helps the students learn and improve. Definitely a great place to get massages and help out the students at the same.

I was running a little late and called on my way over. I let someone know I'd be late for my…read morescheduled massage. Apparently the message wasn't relayed, which was disappointing because they called me when I was frantically looking for parking and questioned me about the call when I came in , insisting that no one else was answering the phone. It was a bit off putting but also made me question if I had called the correct place. To add, if I was late, I wouldn't get the full massage time because the clock started ticking at my alloyed appointment time, so I really wasn't up for explaining myself and missing out on something I was paying for. My massage itself was great. Professional and well executed. The entire time I was getting my massage, all I could think about was if I had called the wrong place to say I was running late. When I went back to the lobby to pay, I was told that someone else had indeed answered the phone and hadn't relayed the message until I was already getting my massage. So disappointing. I guess it soured my experience because I haven't made a second appointment, even with a $40 price point. So disappointing.

    PSI Testing Center

I was thinking about taking the state exam for life/health in person at a testing center since I've…read morehad all kinds of issues with the online proctored exam; however, from these reviews about the testing centers, I won't be doing that either. My review is about the online experience I've had. Between PSI not sending me the link to launch the exam (twice), to when I was finally able to launch the exam and it glitched so that I couldn't get back into the exam. I've had to reschedule 3 times now. Each time I paid $53. They gave me a ticket to get a refund for the most recent time, but now when I call them, they don't answer. There's no hierarchy or corporate number you can call that works. Every agent is outsourced and foreign. It's extremely disturbing that a national exam seems fraudulent. I highly advise that everyone on here reports them to their attorney general because PSI needs to be investigated. I plan on doing so. I filed reports through my credit cards as well.

This is a testing center for multiple different types of exams. My wife had a test scheduled today…read more(2/16/19) at 2:30pm and they said to come 30 minutes early. We got there at 2, the center was closed. About 30 people showed up and still, the room was dark. We called the company and it took a while for the woman (Teresa) to understand what was going on. She spent a while thinking we were the employee. Then once she realized what was going on, she said that we needed to give up to 30 minutes for the proctor to show up. She then spoke to her supervisor who said that we all had to reschedule the exam. They gave no particular reason why the proctor did not show up, and we had planned our President's Day weekend around this exam and had come from 2 hours away to the nearest testing center. The only silver lining is that the rescheduling would not involve an additional fee. There was no warning that the test would be cancelled today. The weather was terrific - sunny and not particularly cold. We called a few days ago to make sure it wasn't going to be cancelled and they said it was all going to be fine and we would be notified, at the latest, in the morning if it got cancelled. Even though this is a one star review, it's not like we have any other choice but to reschedule since this company holds a monopoly on this particular exam we need to take. People are visibly upset and crying in the hallways. Happy President's Day, PSI. Update: We went back to the center on 3/2/19 and there were no major issues. Showed up at 7:30am and they did not let us in the building until 7:35am so there was a minor panicky moment that the same thing would happen again. But it was fine and she passed the test.

    PITC Institute - Graduation Day

The "program director" has no concern for student and does not provide support to students or faculty in any way for any reason. Many of the fulltime faculty speak in such thick accents that students can not understand what the faculty is presenting in lecture. The testing method is completely antiquated, and the source of test material is one member of the "academic office staff" using Chat GPT to create questions that do not in any way correlate to the textbook or the lecture material. If you as a faculty member attempt to provide any extra support, resources, or tutoring, you are threatened with termination. There is a greater concern over cheating on exams than there is for student success. The "Nursing Skills Lab" is nothing more than a collection of previously discarded hospital and long-term facility beds that somehow ended up in a room along with assorted broken-down cabinets full of dirty old parts of previously trashed training equipment and previously used training catheters and dressing kits. Overall, I wouldn't let anyone that I know or even don't like ever consider attending this "school". Do NOT waste your time or money by getting involved in this scam institution. And if you are called by anyone from this "school", ask them how this institution is connected to DoPeace.org (https://dopeace.org/) It will stun you the answer that you do NOT get. A complete scam that needs to be shutdown...

Warning to Anyone Thinking About PITC Institute…read more I want to share my real experience as a former student of PITC Institute so others can make an informed decision before enrolling. At PITC, students are often treated unfairly and disrespected. I was suspended without being given a clear reason, and other students knew about it before I was even officially told. That was unprofessional and hurtful. The testing system is very unfair. In one class, only one student passed the test, even though many of us studied hard and followed what was taught. The teacher even had to stop the test because what was on it wasn't what we were taught in class. Later, another class got a different test, which made students even more frustrated and confused about how the school handles exams and grading. It often feels like PITC cares more about money than education. Communication is poor, and students don't get the support or fairness they deserve. If you are thinking about going to PITC Institute, please think twice. Choose a school that values students, teaches clearly, and grades fairly. Sylvie Juste
