EVENING CLASSES (3 out of 5)…read more I took an Economics (MBA) and Photography (non-credit) course here. The quality was okay and facilities were a bit lacking compared to other campuses. This is a satellite site so don't expect too much. Prof for Economics course was okay but he could have been a bit better. He was adjunct prof who taught at Ambler. For an MBA course, I expected a bit more from it. Photography course was actually pretty good. I learned alot from our instructor and everyone seemed to have fun too. BURSAR'S OFFICE/BOOKSTORE (4 out of 5) Registration was pretty simple- no issues here. Bookstore is at the Ambler campus. Again, it's a bit overpriced as with all campus bookstores. Check online after emailing the prof for syllabus. VERDICT (3 out of 5) I hate to say it but you probably would be better off at the main campus or Ambler. This is a satellite site which has what you need for class. However, no campus feel since there is no library, gym, etc. Also, I tried looking into gym activities which was pretty scarce. Bottom line- everything has to be done at Ambler. Plus side is that Ambler is nearby to take care of business- books and tuition payments.

After that we went to work on getting a safety program together. I had reached out to a lot of different companies not knowing exactly what I was looking for. I ended up getting in contact with Jim the president of Cardiac Care. He was awesome and helped guide me through what we needed. We had him on site to train 6 people 2 years ago. We also got the AED off him once we completed the program. The certifications just expired and due to the great experience we had the first time we again booked an on-site safety training course. This time I threw him a curve ball. We needed double the amount of people trained. This was no issue! We had a 3 hour on site training course. This covers everything to insure that the work place remains safe. There are videos, live instruction and each member get to practice. I highly recommend this company for all your on site safety training. It's a huge Benefit to have them come out to the site. They are also relatively inexpensive compared to most places I looked at. However I don't think that should be a selling point here. This is an extremely important service they are providing and workers safety shouldn't have a price tag. Book them today and get your people ready to act in any type of emergency situation!

Both trainers took it in stride and waited until we were ready. Once we started, they were able to get the needed information to us while keeping the attention of my staff. This is not an easy task. We will be training more people and I will be calling on Mike and his staff again.

I echoed with David (previous reviewer). I am taking a course which is probably one of the most…read moreexpensive classes. I was excited to start the class and waited till the class opened and did the part I saw through the portal. Then I emailed the professor and checked if I needed to do anything else before the class. He responded to my email and said that I would pass the class. So, I attended the first class and realized attendance was not necessary. The professor talked nonstop about his background and his experience. One of the classmates literally asked if he could talk about the exam which everyone worried about. We got through the whole class by chatting and going over the quizzes, no lecture at all. He did not even go into details of what was expected in the exam. The class has no clear instruction of the agenda/syllabus. I only followed the content to complete the on-going tasks to get my grade. The lesson review has repeated information. What I meant is on each topic, it has written description, then it has old slides on a video and then there's a JD talked over the same topic again. All the information is the same. Then there's a reading assignment of about 50s pages every chapter assigned other than the textbook. If by chance, repetition will make us pass, then why do we need to have a "professor". Any moderator can do that part, even an assistant. Other than that, there's a forum type of discussion for each lesson. It's like nonstop feed (around 50s) coming through every day. Honestly, we are not "real" students who have nothing to do but go to class. We have work during the day. I honestly think that everyone has their own opinions. What's the point of chatting about the same topics and reading things 100x every day. That doesn't help us to pass the class. In addition, the exam is scheduled with prometric. I am totally nervous for the exam. Seriously, I still have no idea what will be in the exam. The most frustrating experience was customer services. There are days that school closes early. There are other days that no one picks up. The worst experience was that the Advisor claimed I consumed her time and refused to listen to my frustration. The whole purpose is to ask if she has some tips to get by the course. She literally said I used her 16 minutes, and we were not going anywhere, but she also could not provide me help except telling me to talk to my professors. Oh well, if my company reimburse me elsewhere, I will totally not to choose American College. I will tell you why: (1) unreliable instructors (2) bad customer services (3) useless designation advisors NOOOO... highly NOT recommending American College of Financial Services, unless you have lots of time to go over the troubles.

At every single step of the way, ordering books, registering for classes, and talking to their "customer support", it has been an unmitigated disaster. I have had to watch them like a hawk to ensure delivery of books, registration of correct courses, and receiving test results. In order to get simple textbooks THAT I HAD PAID FOR it took weeks of chaos, wrangling, and following up with them just to get a simple book. While customer support can be helpful, you'll often sit on the phone for 20-30 minutes waiting, and then it's a crap shoot as to whether whatever problem they caused gets fixed after you hang up. I've lost at least a month of study time due to their incompetence. A business like this is supposed to help students pass. Their materials, again, seem pretty good. However, everything else seems like a disaster.
