Although it doesn't look appetizing but it was delicious, just not worth the price. The bolognese pasta was too salty both times but this time it was better (last time it was too gamey)! I suggest adding chili flakes if you have any at home; its exactly what it needed. The Rosé pasta was delicious as always such light creamy flavour. The scallopini sandwich is honestly the best sandwich it has the right amount of flavours! It lost points because it's suppose to be made with roasted red peppers but both times they replaced it with sautéed mushrooms which is delicious but i wasn't informed and it would have been an issue if someone was allergic to mushrooms. :) Last time I ordered the asparagus soup and I do not recommend it... It's very bland / lacking in flavour.

The first time we tried going it was complete pack and it was a 1hr wait. Second time I tried going it was starting to get packed around 5:30-6pm and 7pm was fully packed. We ordered the soup of the day - cream de broccoli which was good! the garlic escargot, very cheesy garlicy (Great start) steak with shrimp and steak with half lobster. I would say it started slightly going down hill with the main course; which i was very excited for but it was just average. reminded me of vieux duluth growing up. We ended with a cake i chose the forest cake it was was horrendous. It was dry, hard and the taste was off. every birthday growing up i use to love forest cake and as much as the appearance was similar the taste was definitely not there. I would say overall it was ok. But i expected a lot more from all the good reviews online and from how booked and occupied it always is. its a very Caucasian restaurant so when i significant and I walked in we got starred at, which at some point gets uncomfortable. Would i go back....no...was is nice to try atleast once yes.

Seriously, Yelp needs to up its game in Québec, because places like this one aren't getting the attention they deserve. The pulled pork sandwich had a generous amount of meat. The 12-hour smoking process did indeed liberate a good amount of smoky aroma and make the pork somewhat tender. It's lighter on the sauce and heavier on the smoke than any other pulled pork I tried which gave a more authentic impression. Amazing coleslaw - wished I had more. Fries are the soft kind, very lightly salted. The "spicy" mayo (some kind of very salty habanero with hot sauce) was not that good. Being a smokehouse it's obviously not cheap. The pulled pork sandwich with fries was a good value at $20 + tip. A pint of Fin du Monde $10 + tip. Steaks are in the $30+ range but seeing the impressive meat ageing cabinet by the entrance, I might go back to try one. If you're passing by Chambly and are in the mood for smoky meat, this is the place to be. For parking, there's a lot on rue Ostiguy across from Bedondaine & Bedons Ronds (also a place to check out).

The kitchen was a tad slow, but that just gave us more time to enjoy the ambience. Go after sunset and the patio trees will be illuminated. Lovely. The crowd is pleasant and not too noisy. The prices are reasonable (C$75 incl. tip for two diners). Flavors are sumptuous, better even than anything we tried in Montreal today. I particularly recommend "le croque monsieur" and the Nutella crêpe. The calamari and my wife's salmon filet were also great. The beer is fresh and whiskeys are plentiful. The menu isn't quite as diverse as we expected for a "gastropub," but everything we had was still delicious. Seriously considering a return visit before we leave town in a few days. Definitely recommend.
