This was so good! I am so happy that le Central food court now offers a varied Asian Selection. LPV…read moreserves Filipino food packed with texture and flavor! I had the Fried chicken sandwich with tater tots. Crispy chicken balanced with a spice and punch. Spicy mayo was a great addition. As a Filipina myself - I can easily give this a 5/5 rating as the food tasted like an upscale and modern version of Home.

They have a brunch menu as well! But they allowed me to order from their dinner menu during lunch…read more I ordered the lechon and it was deliciously crispy and had a good amount of fat. It came with the mac salad and a green salad as a side on my plate. I read another review here that said the mac salad was tasteless, but it was pretty on par with the mac salads I've had in Hawaii. The waitress also suggested an "all-purpose sauce" to go with the lechon and I really quite liked it! Preferred it to the default vinegar sauce that my dish came with. My boyfriend ordered one of their brunch dishes: the chicken and waffles. It came with ube butter! And you can actually taste the ube! The pancake itself was banana-based in taste. The chicken was perfectly fried, but my boyfriend said it was a little bit too salty. But I thought it was alright in saltiness. We also got a spam and tamago musubi to share. Glad to see musubi offered! It was freshly made and quite warm to the touch when it got to us. Yum! Overall, loved the decor here and happy with the variety of dishes offered! Have been missing Hawaiian foods since my Hawaii trip a few months back, and having more Filipino food options in Montreal are always welcomed!

THE BEST bar experience I've had in years, mostly due to the awesome mixologists/bartenders here. I…read morehesitate to say bartender cos these guys are artists. The pandan sour drink seems to be one of their most popular drinks, and for good reason -- it's got ingredients that you wouldn't ever think to combine in a drink and yet it works so, so well: rum, pandan syrup, lime, egg white, and then powdered cranberry, powdered seaweed, cardamom. Magical. Every drink is something special. The best, best thing are the mixologists here. We sat at the bar, right where Mackenzie was mixing up drinks. Mackenzie made us some kind of shooter with sake, pink peppercorn syrup and an orange liquer that was deeeelicious. We also interacted with Antoine. Both these guys clearly love what they do, are crazy talented at it, and were having so much fun throughout the night (eg dancing around). This made it really fun for us too. I honestly cannot rave about them enough. Atmosphere: loud yet cozy, super atmospheric - the ceiling is covered in lanterns and they pump in fog so the place is slightly reminiscent of an opium den (in a good way). Came here on a Saturday night at 1am and stayed til closing.
