NO FEMALES ALLOWED??!?!!!? I'm truly upset. Called Lace earlier today to see if they were open. The guy over the phone told me that they were open. I than proceded to ask if there was a cover fee. He let me know that it was $10 and that we would need to buy a drink and order food. I just got to Lace and the guy at the front told me that females aren't allowed to come in. I was really shocked as I've been coming to Lace since I was 22 and I'm now 28 years old. It was very disappointing. I let him know that I called earlier and spoke to someone and they didn't t me know that. He give up on himself and said it was him I spoke to but couldn't explain why he didn't let me know that over the phone. I just don't know why if a female isn't allowed there than why wouldn't you tell a female that over the phone before traveling there. Ok so we stopped here after boozing elsewhere, just so we could continue our liquor trip and step it up a notch. I was annoyed enough to know that they did not have an ATM and I am puzzled as to how stupid the owners are not to install one....too many drinks = free for all usage of the ATM card. Ladies are fairly cute, some not so much, some better than others. Bartenders are nice and while I don't mind paying 9$ a drink for Grey Goose; I highly doubt that's what was in the bottle. I'm convinced they married the bottles with Georgi b/c I can tell when the vodka tastes sub-par. (My headache the next day also didn't leave much room for any other conclusions.) Wish I can give this place half a star! I've been to strip clubs all over the world, and this has to be one of the worse places as far as viewing dancers. There were women old enough to be my grandmother that kept coming by knocking my drink over as they clumsily tried to offer dances. Why tf would I want a dance from an old drunken dancer? Gentlemen, this is exactly what you would think a club in the middle of now where would be. HOWEVER, having been to many said clubs, I would highly recommend this one. Drinks are moderately priced, dances are a standard 20 and the private options are affordable if that's what your looking for. The ladies range from 21 year old cuties to this one particular woman who had to be in her late 30's but as an older man myself she was an absolute joy. Don't get me wrong and don't take it the wrong way she certainly had some mileage on her but I'd drive the three hours to go back to see her again. O.K. I've been going to Lace at least for about 10 years, particularly for one hot babe called Cameron, whose beyond sexy! Yes, now there is an ATM near the front entrance. I did like the larger rooms before they renovated, because they had one way mirrors which allowed you to look back into the bar and club area + it made the room seem larger. This place deserves 0 stars. I'm surprised there still in business. The girls are mostly old and weathered. They force you to do a private room and ask for big tips for the stripper and the manager at the podium. Music is good. The alcohol is either stale or watered down. As for Coronavirus protection. My wife and I are a very young married couple in our 20s so when we go there we get a lot of attention since a lot of the people that go there are either single and young or older and regulars. I usually buy the bartender a shot and they always hook us up with the a good alcohol bill at the end of the night. My wife is beautiful so when we go there we get a dance for us both. I just wish the location was a little closer. There is valet there but they only charge for tips at the end of the night. i found this place on google maps when looking for something fun to do on a Tuesday as a few friends and i were camping nearby and we wanted to get out for a bit. the ride is a bit scary since it took us on a long winding round to get to this secluded area. at the time it was free no cover to get. i needed to use the bathroom and let me tell you it was on of the most disgusting bathrooms in the world.A roll of toilet paper was floating in the toilet the floor was sticky and dirty and the wastebasket was overfilled. Funny that the strippers changing room is stationed directly next to the bathrooms where you can see directly inside while they get changed . the bartender was very attentive but the strippers were awful. couldn't be anymore bored if they tired. i mean basically half dead on the pole chewing gum and maybe a few spins. lol you don't get much then they come over an make you tip them and insult you if you don't. It's not a bad place, It was the first strip club that I've been in NY. Topless girls, most of them are hot, well, as usual a few not so hot or kinda old dancers... I didn't see any thick girls, most of them have fake boobs but there are many all natural too (I rather all natural, but I'm not complaining). I'm so used to finding only dumpy topless clubs outside the city that I have to say Lace was a pleasant surprise. We were at the palisades mall and happen to pass by . Don't judge a book by it's cover- the outside is pretty non-descript (though they have free valet service at night). Inside it's no dump. Open the door and that's when the the fun starts...the music is pumping and the some of the hottest topless dancers I've ever seen ( NYC caliber) were dancing and mingling and were friendly- very little attitude. The room is preety big with a center stage in the bar, and a good size 2nd stage where you can sit in comfortable chairs w/tables basically next to the stage so there's nothing between u and the girls! I'm so used to city prices that draft beers for like 3 bucks and mixed drinks for about 5 make this a stupid value. We got there at about 9:30 and it was only 5$ to get in. ( I was told you can get a coupon for FREE admission at there website... I checked it out and it's TRUE!!!). And while I'm talking price... the rooms are like HALF the price of the city, comfy and private ;-).BTW we stayed till like 1:00! and got hungry so we ordered some apps...the calimari was a big portion and some of the best I've ever had and a mozzarella tower or something was also big with fresh tomatoes and a dressing that was delicious- the burger was big and good to and also cheap...even the waitress was hot!
