Eleven years in this area trips here in all kinds of weather for every season I suggest a couple things: commute with friends parking is limited, several small stores in walking distance, if you want direct access to canoe or paddle boards you need to park on Lake road. If you just want a great walk, playground or picnic park on Everett Road. Breathtaking views everywhere and no diving off the bridge ( people have perished doing so) Dog friendly and public restrooms are wheelchair accessible as there are cement walkways to the rest area near bbq stands ( briquettes or wood fuel must be brought to be useful) Many photo opportunities and you will find people so kind and friendly it's wonderful. Bicycle trails are along with walking paths so be mindful of pedestrians. Enjoy the views and clean natural beauty There are picnic tables and handwashing are also

This is one of the better parks I have been to. I traveled all the way from Southeast Portland. It's calm more like a stroll than a hike clean not too many pets.

This park was a wonderful place to stop and explore. The lake and river are very pretty and scenic. The playground is somewhat small but it is well maintained. The park is clean. There is a parking lot to park in. There are plenty of trails to walk or jog on. There are bathrooms at this park. The bathrooms were clean when I was there. There is an eating area with picnic tables. There are several picnic tables scattered throughout the park. There are swings and toddler swings at this park. There are wood chips underneath the playground. The playground only has one slide. There are two spinning toys to play on at this playground. Have fun out there. -Dadzone

I have hiked the Lacamas Heritage Trail (just around the bend from here) many times so have driven past Lacamas Park enough to peak my curiosity. Last weekend I decided it was time to bring my dog and go exploring on our first hike. We had an amazing time. We came at dawn so it was relatively quiet and peaceful. It allowed us to enjoy the sites and sounds of nature. There is so much beauty to explore here between Round Lake and the many waterfalls. You can easily get a nice 2 mile hike and possibly more. We will definitely be back many times over. Important to note that parking can be quite limited later in the day.

My wife originally discovered Round Lake as a kayaking destination, and it has evolved (for us) into a place for easy hikes and picnicking. With every visit, we've explored paths that we haven't been on before. Trail maps with "you are here" are placed at critical spots throughout the park, though we also find that taking a picture of one can help confirm that we're heading the right way. The main parking lot near the northwest corner of the lake is on the small side. There is additional parking north of the lake, down the street where the path around Round Lake takes you. The main paths are wide, smooth, and well maintained, which I find to be a huge benefit. When I'm hiking, and have to constantly be looking at my feet, watching out for roots and loose rocks, I don't get to enjoy my surroundings much at all. If you decide to visit the waterfalls in the park, you will find secondary trails that can be much steeper and narrower. The cascading destinations are worth the extra work.

Love this park! There are three parking lots available, two on the smaller side. There are restrooms available during summer months. This park is very lush with picnic tables and grills spread out for privacy. The view of the lake is gorgeous! There are over 6 miles of trails, some of which intertwine. If you're new to these trails, a map is a good idea; one could easily get lost if not familiar as the trails aren't all marked. I just took a picture of the trail map by the parking area to have as reference in case I needed it. The trails are lush and mainly dirt and rocks. If you walk down to lower falls the trail can be a little more treacherous. Some of the hills are steep and some rocks loose. Make sure you wear the proper footwear. There are a few falls to see, many creeks, a dam and a couple lakes (Lacamas and Round). Overall a wonderful place to get outside for fresh air and beautiful scenery. Highly recommend.

Nature trails that surround the lake. Never too crowded which is nice. Clean trails, cute little park for the kids, and pathways that lead in different directions. Trails are bike friendly. I believe you're able to fish, might need a permit. There are bathrooms, though I'm not sure if they're open during this time.

This is a nice park in Camas. If I lived nearby, I'd come a lot to hike the one mile trial around the lake. For everyone else, it's probably not a "destination" park. We were in the area and decided to make a stop to hike around the lake with our kids, ages one and four. They both enjoyed the hike and the playground. We saw lots of paddle boarding and kayaking, which is probably a lot more fun than the "hike." Overall, this is an adequate place to pass time on earth before you die, but I don't t recommend driving out of your way to do it.

If you're coming here to hike, definitely get the AllTrails app. Even with the app, we got a little lost in the trees. Ended up walking around 4 miles, but ever bit of it was awesome. You are the park when you first arrive, there are picnic tables, grills, kid's playground and public bathrooms. Once you keep walking you'll see the dam, and then you'll get into the trees where the hike begins. I wish we had more time to explore it all and see more. However, what we did see was magical! Would definitely recommend checking this spot out!

Great community park and beautiful scenic walk. It's so lush and green, but a bit creepy. I don't feel safe to walk by myself.

A beautiful park by Lacamas Lake. A local spot where kids jump over the little walking bridge. There are a good number of picnic tables (6+) on the lake front. A few place where there is a grill. There is a large grassy area near entrance where one can put down a blanket. A Restrooms for both genders is available. I saw stand up paddle boarders and canoers in this enclosed portion of the lake, no wake by the numerous jetskiers and boats in larger portion of the lake. The parking lot is limited but with patience you can get a spot.

Very nice place to visit for any ages, many people bring their kids and dogs to take around the park trail and teens go down to the more difficult places to get to as a hang out spot. The area was usually decently clean but ever since Covid had started, the amount of litter and garbage that can be found sprinkled throughout the trails and in the river has increased. Another caveat of this park is the amount of parking spaces; the parking lot for the park itself is very small, which is what leads many people to park across the street or down the road on another property during the summer. Overall, it is still a very nice place to go to and visit, take your dog, or go on a nice trail.

Lacamas Park and the two lakes (Round Lake, and Lacamas Lake) are great places to kayak, paddle board, or fish! In the summer there are usually multiple family friendly kayak and paddle board rental places on the lakes. There are hiking trails around both lakes, and a small Camas Lily field on Round lake. It's a fun place to go year round!!
