Plus, there's a great path that winds through a forest, and I thought it was an amazing opportunity to take some photos of the plants there; I could imagine the scenarios featuring the forest as a part of the Black Forest in the fairy tales I like to read sometimes, such as Little Red Riding Hood with the Big Bad Wolf (except different, of course). It has also attracted some rough people in recent times, resulting in a shooting. That's not the park's fault though. It has felt mostly safe to me and Parks & Rec does a great job keeping it clean and well-maintained.
