I visited Lac Des Sables on a full day tour outside of Quebec City, and it was a gorgeous area that would make a wonderful day trip from the province's capital city. The water is impossibly clear (you can see the stones at the bottom!), there are boardwalks and beaches to enjoy, as well as swimming and boating you can do in the warmer months. We only visited for a short while so just got to walk along the beach and splash a little, but I could see this being a nice place for a day trip to explore, or even stay for a whole weekend trip of activities! read more
