They will stick your cat in a cabinet along with their litterbox and food and then charge you 65 dollars a night lmao

Four Muddy Paws - Three Sizes To Fit All Dogs

Four Muddy Paws

This review is for the Shot Clinic only, as I did not go into the store…read more Four Muddy Paws hosted a shot clinic sponsored by Partners For Pets. The prices were phenomenal!!! My baby rec'd 3 shots for $27. We arrived first thing in the morning, since the clinic was from 9am-12pm on May 2nd. Four Muddy Paws is housed in a strip mall with plenty of parking and there was a bank next door that looked to be closed on Saturday so that accommodated for additional parking. The clinic was held outside in the grassy area, they had a table set up, so it was first come, first serve. The paperwork was simple and they accepted cash or card payments. The wait time wasn't bad, it took us an hour from start to finish and the staff was really nice and loving to the babies and were ready for all types...meaning if your fur-baby was scared or frightened. We rec'd a free cookie from Treats Unleashed for the fur-babies and a $5 gift card. You select the one you want, an associate programs the machine and loads your new tag. Then you take over the keyboard by selecting how many lines you want. The next step is typing what you want on the tag and selecting a font. Final step is proofing and hitting the engrave button. When it's done engraving, you've got a fashionable tag for your new family member. The other item I needed was a coupler. I needed it for the seatbelt restraint. Instead of securing one dog, I now needed to make sure two dogs were safe while riding shotgun. Of course, we couldn't leave without getting matching bandanas for both dogs and a couple of fresh baked cookies. When: January 28, 2026 Why: Shopping with new dog after seeing new vet.

Thank you so much and Merry Christmas. Hope you are blessed for your kindness. Also love this store. Very clean and helpful staff. Very well stocked too.

I have to say, I am extremely disappointed with Petco today. (But hey you took our money for their…read morecostumes the week before the so called planned event) We brought our dog in at 2:30 PM for the festivities, only to be told that because only two dogs had shown up at 2:00 PM, they decided to cancel the rest of the event scheduled from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Excuse me?! So the event was supposed to run until 4:00 PM, but you decided to cancel it just 15 minutes into the time slot because the turnout wasn't what you expected? What about the families who planned to come later? People have to coordinate schedules, get the family ready, round up their fur babies, get everyone in the car, and make the trip there. That takes time! Not everyone can arrive right at the start of an event. Canceling an event at 2:15 PM when it's scheduled to run until 4:00 PM is absolutely ridiculous. At the very least, give people the opportunity to show up during the advertised time instead of making the decision that no one else is coming. Our time matters, too. We made the effort to show up, and our dog missed out because someone decided to call it quits early. If you're going to advertise an event with specific hours, then honor those hours. Families plan around them, and our fur babies deserve that consideration, too.

The day before Valentine's Day, I woke up to a sick dog. I called my vet immediately and let them…read moreknow what was going on. After my description, they knew she needed to seen pronto. Unfortunately they couldn't squeeze her in and recommended an emergency clinic. My vet is in STL and since I now live on the Eastside of the river, I choose Hawthorne. When I looked at the reviews on Yelp, I became concerned, but I needed a vet fast. I called, told them the issues and they said, to come on in. Wow, the staff was so attentive and caring to me and my fur-baby when we arrived. We were promptly escorted to an exam room and the vet tech was professional and thorough in asking questions to help us resolve the problem my dog was having. When the vet came to the exam room, she was very loving to my baby and explained what they determined the health issue to be. It was what I thought it was, she had an abscessed tooth. What impressed me was, how they coordinated care with my regular vet. I had my vet on the phone and as a team we all worked to see who could get her in for the tooth extraction the fastest. My vet could get her in the fastest. To make things easier for me and my vet, Hawthorne offered to do the prep bloodwork and send it to my vet. We both appreciated that. When I lived in STL, I had multiple emergency clinics to choose from when a need would arise. Now on the Eastside, there are not that many to choose from, but if there were, I'd still choose Hawthorne. I was impressed with the service and care I received and I am a picky dog dad.

PLEASE READ- IS YOUR ANIMAL SICK????? In September 2024, I…read morepaid Hawthorne Animal Hospital and Dr. Jessica Wiehrdt $7,482.00 for an emergency splenectomy for my dog. Tragically, my dog passed away from severe internal bleeding just one week later. The most painful part was the total failure of informed consent. Before the surgery, during a consultation with myself and a licensed medical doctor acting as a witness, Dr. Wiehrdt explicitly quoted a "50/50 chance of survival." What they deliberately left out was the crucial medical reality: that for aggressive conditions like splenic hemangiosarcoma, surgery alone offers a median survival time of only a few weeks, frequently ending in catastrophic internal hemorrhaging. Had I known the truth, I would have chosen a peaceful, palliative path instead of putting my dog through major, traumatic surgery for a handful of painful days. When you look at the economics, it's easy to see why these procedures are heavily pushed. If a regional hospital performs just 2 to 3 of these high-margin, nearly $7,500 terminal surgeries a month, that translates to $180,000 to $270,000+ per year generated purely from aggressive, high-cost interventions on pets facing terminal prognoses. When formally requested to take accountability and refund the $7,482 cost for this misleading guidance, hospital administration chose to completely ghost and ignore all deadlines. If you are facing critical or terminal diagnoses at Hawthorne, demand the unvarnished statistical reality of the long-term prognosis before handing over thousands of dollars. Protect your pets and your peace. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE. don't do this to your baby. these people are evil.
