I'm really not sure why everyone is saying they're having such a bad experience here. I've been a couple times and I've never had a bad experience. The staff is friendly and helpful! Honestly the only time I've seen things go bad is because they don't follow the steps to check in (which are the same as every single Labcorp location in the USA). Check in on the iPad, upload any info/documents they need, sit down, they'll call you for more info if needed, sit down again, wait till tell call you to go back and take your bloodwork. That's literally it. The problem is when people think they take priority over everyone else that also made an appt or is also waiting for their turn when is actually such a simple process. worst experience at a lab. still badly bruised two weeks later, filthy bathroom with clogged sink, rude overwhelmed staff despite me and one other person being only ones there....and more. Bottom line: don't go! I called corporate twice and made a complaint and was promised a call back from "quality control" person It's two weeks from first call and no return call. I see numerous negative reviews but honestly, I have been there many times and have never had even one bad issue. I have extremely hard to find veins but they have never had to stick me more than once. The results are at my doctor's office the next day. I also make an appointment before each visit and have never waited more than 10 minutes after checking in. read more

I have visited many lab Corp locations in the island This was my Second time in the same Location . My first visit to this location back in March was flawless I was in and out in 5 mins. So expecting the same I had a very early reservations online for blood works of my kids and me , so we could be done quickly.. that was the he idea... One of the technicians was late to work ... So we have been taken into rooms 65 mins after ou first appointement time. 4 differnt appt. we were spread to hour long slots but they rushed us in to 30 mins. The rushing came with another problem , the technician who was late was also rushing things and since we were family I was trying to just watch and observe if there was any confusion in collections ( which happened before to us ) That caused a problem for her ( even as a father of a minor I have a right to be there) After collecting blood from my children it was my turn and she had a problem finding my veins and started commenting about my body. When I answered back she stopped the service and send her co-worker (who took the blood in two mins without digging my arm with a needle for finding a vein like her ) A professional must overcome the obstacle you can't expect every patients body to be on your work convenience....Well at least in theory read more

This is the most horrendous place I have ever been too. Extremely unprofessional phlebotomists. They are so dirty - one lady was going in and out of my arm with the SAME NEEDLE, and then one forgot to use alcohol swabs before sticking me with a needle!!! They absolutely do not care. After the first lady couldn't get my blood, another lady (Maritza Lopez) roughly took my hand, scolded me for my hands being too cold - told me to rinse my hands under scolding hot water for 2 minutes until my hands were beat red. She came back, threw on the tourniquet and just jammed the needle in my wrist so fast before I could say "you didn't use alcohol!" She replied back yelling "It's FINE IT'S CLEAN FROM THE WATER!" I was baffled - as an ICU nurse for 6 years. She then told the people in the waiting room complaining that it's because she had to take longer because she couldn't get my veins ( TELLING THE ENTIRE WAITING ROOM!) - that is absolutely HIPPA violation and I was mortified in the waiting area. She told the other lady to go on break - screaming at her - and then she told everyone they're going to have to wait because theres only one person working. Meanwhile the other lady said she didn't want to go on break. Then, my wrist kept bleeding after the needle stick, and she told me to hold on - as theres blood coming down my hand... read more

Totally lame place! Desk lady looks for a reason to delay your visit by saying you didn't fill out the forms at the kiosk!!!' I'll give it two stars for their location but for service and professional a zero. They clearly hire whoever they can. My husband goes in for a new employment drug screen and it says 730 online yet Cora some miserable worker who's only been there for 10 minutes says they don't do them til 8 and until 3 pm only. You have people that have real jobs. How is that fair or professional of her. He was one of the only people in there and on top of it offered quickly to send him elsewhere. Only in Staten Island can you get served attitude. Stay away from this place read more

Don't waste your time going to Lab Corp. visited place at 1035 am for urine drug screening. Took one hour and 15 minutes . Just to have to pee in a cup. Disorganized place . They either need more staff or new staff read more

This is my go to lab. It's never that crowded but always surmising how long it takes to actually get in the room. All the techs are good at getting my blood which is very hard for anyone but they are use to me. Still takes 2 or 3 stabs to get it but I do have bad veins. My only complaint is how long it takes to get my results back often over a week. They insist on sending them to the doctor 24 hrs before I can see them on the computer in my account. This is very dangerous for me since I often need blood transfusions and or sodium potassium infusions. read more

If I could give this place NO STARS I would. I walked in having to give urine for my school and there was one man sitting in a chair waiting to be seen. I told Cora the technician I am here for a urine test and I have been waiting to urinate can I please have a cup and I will still wait my turn. I did not have to check in with the KIOSK or pay any money because the form from my school was already paid for but Cora the lab technician who worked there came out with an insane amount of attitude telling me I can't be seen without checking in at the kiosk. She then proceeded to come back out with the same attitude on her face and in her voice and "walked me through" the process of the kiosk as if I was a child. I'm 24 years old. The amount of unprofessionalism and childish behavior displayed by their technicians was ridiculous. Don't waste your time here. read more
