Just had another ridiculous experience. Was waiting for half an hour watching people be called in and out and they had come after me. I finally spoke up and saw my name crossed out without anyone telling me. Was finally called back and they had the wrong insurance information and tried to bill me $590. Was turned away to get blood work I really need because of my "outstanding balance" which is inaccurate and not my fault. Seems like they have a lot of turnover and poor training. It stinks because this is literally in my doctors office but this is unacceptable. read more

Maybe it was because they were shorthanded, but I had a 915 appointment, and walk-ins were taken in before I was, I sat there for over an hour before getting a simple blood draw. A lady went up to the front desk and said she had been sitting there for an hour and a half and the people who came in after her were being seen, the receptionist had never taken her paperwork back to the phlebotomist. This used to be a standalone operation, but now they've moved it into the urgent care clinic. I never had a problem when it was a standalone operation especially when you had an appointment, you were seen before the walkins according to your appointment time. read more

I came here on a Sunday morning when the website said they opened at 8:30. No one showed nor answered the phone. Now I have to reschedule my doctors appointment because I can't get the labs done. Change your hours in your site! read more

Avoid going here. I usually go to the Labcorp up in Woodbridge, but after realizing that there was one closer in Stafford, I decided to come here for a simple bloodwork procedure. - The woman at the front desk didn't even bother to look at me, and since it was my first time, I even began to wonder if she was in fact, the front desk. She was busy on the phone. Honestly, I wasn't really upset about this, but in retrospect...? I was the only one in the lobby. - The wait is ridiculously long. I'll save the details, but in total I waited nearly an hour and 15 minutes for a procedure that takes about 1 minute to complete. They said they were searching for information on my doctor, and that he was not in the system. - They had no idea how to properly ring up my work order. I always pay a rate of $95 at Woodbridge, but for some reason ended up having to pay $120 at this location. Reason unknown. - The woman drawing blood stuck the needle into my arm, didn't see any blood being drawn into the tube, and began to probe around with the needle...still in my arm. She then moved onto my right arm, and successfully drew blood. Later at night, I see swelling and pus coming from the point where the needle had entered. Possible infection. I will not be coming back to this location again. read more

It should be noted, this review is for the costumer service only, not for the technical capabilities of the medical professionals once you actually get back into the office. I've found this to be the worst place in Stafford for testing. The office is dreary and cold. No matter what time of day or day of the week you go, you will always have a long wait. The long wait is not necessarily due to the number of people ahead of you either. It appears their system of customer service is not very efficient. read more

I've come here for over two years to check my INR. The wait is usually over 30-45 minutes. Could be more efficient.

I have been waiting for 30 minutes at Urgent Care Lab Corps and have not been seen yet. All we need is blood work done and all it takes is five minutes or less. The receptionist told us to go to a waiting room. Thought it would be different from other patients here. There is a lady still waiting with me and she had been here more than an hour. What is going on with this place. If your staff is at lunch, let us patients know rather sit here waiting. We could have gone to another place? You should change your name from Urgent Care to Wait Your Ass Off Care. Why didn't Lab Corps have their own phlebotomist inside Urgent Care? If you have many complaints like me, then you need to make a change. Worst place for blood work. read more

I've had blood drawn at this location three times. Each visit was perfectly fine. The Lab Technicians (I don't think they are Nurses, as one post indicated) were professional and very capable. I've been "stuck" a bunch of times and I always compliment them on their "stick" and I'm not an easy draw sometimes. I'll keep going back. Customer Service is fine, waiting area is all good. This is a Lab facility, not a Doctor's office or Hospital. Understand there are customers there who are on a timed draw (like glucose testing) and they may be seen ahead of you for that reason - yes, I got an ugly look from a lady when I was called back! Totally incompetent when it comes to working with toddlers. Both nurses lacked the confidence to draw blood from my nervous son. They advised me to take him to the ER because they didn't feel that they could draw blood without hurting him. The receptionist asked for his age. If these nurses are unable to work with young children, parents should be notified BEFORE they are made to wait 30 minutes just to be told to go somewhere else. read more
