After reading other reviews, I was a bit hesitant to go to this office. But they are five minutes from my house so I decided to go. The staff couldn't have been more nice! I had a little trouble trying to work the check-in screen & a tech came out and said, "I see you are having some trouble, let me help!" Then when my time came, a different tech came out and was super pleasant. While checking me in, another patient had a mini problem & she went to help him (after apologizing to me for my wait). She was so kind to the senior citizen (who was embarrassed) and put him at ease. My visit was easy, fast and the techs were wonderful. They let my wife pass out and didnt help her get better after a test. They didn't offer any help in getting to her car or with my daughter during her time there. Don't get here under any circumstances. Would give it a zero if I could read more

My teenage son was very sick with GI issues. Took in stool samples for three tests, which believe me was unpleasant To collect. The female employees were all just flirting loudly with a young man who was there for tests. They " lost" 2 of the 3 samples brought in, which were the imporant ones. Go to Quest. read more

Made an online appointment, checked in from the parking lot, they texted me when they were ready for me, and I only sat in the waiting room for two minutes. Today, at least, they were very efficient and nice. Got me in and out before my actual appointment time. Somewhat friendly staff. There was gospel music playing, which I'm not a fan of. This LabCorp location at 6555 Chippewa St. St. Louis Mo deserves a -1 rating if I could. The way they "tried" to resolve the problem was laughable. How stupid do they think their patients are???? would never recommend this location. staff are also very impatient and unkind. checked in for my appointment today online in the comfort of my own car (as it gives you the option to do) and was prompted that a lab technician would text me when they were available. never got a text, so 30 mins later I walk in to see if maybe they forgot about me. no one was in the office so I was curious why I hadn't gotten a notification to come in. I get called back and was immediately told "we have been waiting in you" very rudely. I stated that I never got a notification that they were ready. i get all the way back to get my labs done for them to tell me that I needed to have one of them drawn before 9 am..... which I said oh I'm sorry I didn't know and then asked if I should reschedule to which she said yes. lazy workers who don't want to do their jobs. read more

5 or 6 years ago this place did indeed merit a zero star review like you see here. I had some very terrible customer service experiences back then. But I went today ( Saturday 9:30 am) and the experience was perfectly fine. It was not crowded at all and the phlebotomist was very pleasant. The wait time couldn't have even been a minute. I just want to give a current positive review to a place that might have made some improvements. One encounter may not mean much but I'll try again in 3 months when I do these labs again and see what happens. read more

Came for some routine tests and all the staff made it super easy. Parking was pretty full but luckily they have some parking in the back. Check in at their self-check kiosk was a breeze and they provide water in the waiting room. Total wait time was about 7 minutes and the tests took another 10 minutes, was out within 20 minutes. Results came back within 2 days, staff made it such an easy experience. read more

ZERO STARS! The level of rude behavior by the staff is unlike anything I have ever experienced. They were rude, angry, yelling, and cursing. It was unreal. Tried to explain to them the instructions I was given by my prescriber and they literally said "I don't care" and walked out of the room. Never experienced anything like that type of service, not that you could even call it that. Easy enough to park and get in, tiny waiting area and bare-like all Labcorp, with one cheap hotel reject art on the wall. They got me in within 5 minutes with no appointment. The reviews are right. This place sucks! They offer no assistance to the people checking in who might not be tech savvy. I had to help an older gentlemen check in because he couldn't understand the screens and the employees ignored him as he asked for help. How cool am I for being the first one to review this Labcorp location? Very cool. I had to get some blood tests run so my doctor sent me here. I was a little worried just because I've never had blood work done and didn't want to go. Do not fear, it was so quick and easy. I arrived at the location and waited for 5 minutes. It only took an additional 5 minutes from the time the nurse said hi to me to me getting to my car... Do the math! In and out in 10 minutes. It may have been even faster if I wasn't early for my appointment. Which wasn't necessary as they take walk-ins too. My experience was great. Highly recommend using this place. They are very efficient. It took about 1 week to get my results emailed to me. Easy peasy lemon squeezy. read more

This is a HORRIBLE location . I can see 3 technicians in the back area, 2 are giggling at each other and one is asleep. No one sits at the front desk. I tried to call and make an appointment but no one answers the phone. A tech finally came up to the front and told everyone that they have a new sign in kiosk and we have to sign in there before. There is literally no sign or indication that this is the 1st step. Everyone in the overstuffed lobby is furious. I'm leaving, called my doctor and asked them to send my orders into Quest labs from here on out. This is 4th time a this lab. Always rude, slowly moving employees but this takes the cake. read more

There was no wait at all, so got in and out very quickly, within 15 minutes of being there!! Took zero paperwork from me after I checked in and everything seemed to go smoothly. Seemed clean and nice from the small area that I saw when I was there. Got the job that was needed done. If you just want to come get your test and leave with little or no personal attention, then this is the place for you! I personally felt like they were all very rude and dismissive towards me. The technician didn't even say hello when she came in the room and just started rubbing my arm with alcohol without even introducing herself. She actually asked me "are you going to cry now?" when I took a deep breath before the needle. This place is AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL!!!! My first time here at the Chippewa location. Tried calling several times after 7am and no one picked up the phone. I wanted to make sure they were opened with it being Columbus Day and to make sure they had my orders. I called until 7:45. No one was at the window. There was one other person ahead of me and she had an appointment at 7:45. No one came to the window until 7:55. The person who did was loud and rude. They way she spoke to that poor woman was just awful. It was cringe worthy just to listen to. I do not know how that woman kept herself calm, but she did and the more the tech spoke at her, not to her, the more rude she became. She had zero patience in explaining the system and came pretty close to calling the poor woman a liar and too stupid to work the check in system. While the check in system is effective, it is not very personable. You could tell there was zero customer service skills. I know this is not a store or a restaurant, and we really have no choice as to were we go to get blood drawn, but I do expect some human decency and kindness and maybe just a tad of respect. There has been a man standing at the window for 12 minutes and no one has come to the window. This is ridiculous. You should all be ashamed of yourselves and how this place is run. Someone just came to the window and rudely asked if she could help him and before the man could get two words out she rudely told him he has to check in on the portal. The portal should not be the first means of check in. It should only be used when there is someone being helped at the window. And now the portal has gone down after 5 minutes of him trying to check himself in. He was yelled at through the closed window that the system was down and he would have to wait, their was nothing they could do and she walked away. Two people have left because of this. And now, 17 minutes after the portal went down, they put out a sign in sheet. So, I guess they can sign us in manually, they just don't want to. Again, 2 people left because they were told there was nothing they could do. The lady who drew my blood was amazing. I couldn't tell you their names because there were no name tags. Had to get a drug screening and the hours for that are very limited. Essential if it is convenient for you then they won't be doing screenings. 7:30 - 11:30 and 1 - 3:30 are when they do screenings. read more

If your insurance covers this place, it is so much better than going to Quest. It's clean and there is never a long wait; I am usually in and out in about 10 minutes. Also, the ladies working here are like vampire bats, they swoop in and take your blood, and you hardly notice you've been stuck. read more

If I could give them ZERO stars I would! I arrived to this location at 1:00 in 5/8/17 for a pre employment drug screen, I was super nice when greeting the worker(a heavy set older Caucasian woman) at the window however she was very rude I didn't let that bother me I sat down until I was called. I went through the door when she called my name, excuse my French but she half assed talked to me STILL I was being nice and respectful. An African American woman took me to the restroom to do my test she handed assed told me what to do. They only allowed me 4 minutes to pee as I was about to start she knocked on the door and I told her "can I get another minutes I'm about to go" she says "no we only allow 4 minutes" so I asked her for a cup of water to try and go again they said I can have 4 cups. The rude caucasian lady that checked me in took me to the restroom again for the 2nd time I couldn't go and she said maybe you should wait about 30 minutes and try again I said okay that's fine I don't have to be out of here until 2:30. So not it's like 2:25 - 2:20 and the waiting room has 5 people including myself sitting there of those 5 4 people were waiting to be checked in and there are 2 people sitting in the back waiting to use the rest room and ALL of the staff memebers disappeared to a room and all I could here was talking and laughing but NO ONE was working. At this point I'm not very angry and agitated. They finally come out and start doing their job and helping the customers, they tell me I can come back so I did and I sat there for like 10 minutes and the African American lady was about to take about her customer back until I spoke up and told her the rude lady at the window said I was next! At this point I'm very pissed I couldn't give my sample so I called my job told them and the gave me a new code and I went to a different location today(5/10/17) and got it done the first try!
