He had an appointment with this practice today and they refused him as a patient due to having a history heart issues. He wasn't looking for a heart specialist, he has one; he was looking for a general practitioner that cares about the patient. When I called, questioning why she refused him as a patient, she was condescending and even asked if I would have made the call questioning her decision if she was a man. I was also told she has 'the right' to refuse anyone she doesn't feel is a 'good fit' with her practice.

I am a high risk patient with a history of a rare, debilitaing form of arthritis. I was told I need to go through my CORE PCP and have her fax all my records to them but even so, they don't treat my condition. I need to resume Orencia infusions asap, but was told that no one in the ENTIRE group would see me and they do not treat EOA or idiopathic types. I am in intense pain and just cannot move back to ATL right now - I've only been here 3 months, and navigating the system up here is a nightmare. My PCP said I needed to have ATL fax them the records and would not help me at all. All my records are on MyChart at an ATL hosptial which I attached to the BIL MyChart. All they had to do is look at them. It is a shame because I really like Dr. Mihata, my new endocrinologist, but the rest of these "providers" are terrible. Thumbs down.

She works with credible labs that most businesses in my area use for their employees and had heard of or used previously. Lynn even took the time and responsibility to contact my lawyer with the results of my test so I didn't have to. Saving me a couple of steps was so helpful to me because I was already so stressed with the custody battle ahead of me and wild accusations of my ex. She made me comfortable, cared for, and she explained every step of the process before we started. Her rates are great as well and much less than what I was anticipating. Though I hope I don't HAVE to use her services again, if I need them, I know exactly where I'm going. I recommend her not only for individuals in similar situations but also to employers looking to test potential or current employees for drug screening.
