I ran a lab for twenty years and I can say, with authority, that this is the least customer-oriented lab drawing facility that I've EVER been to. Each patient takes 15 to 20 minutes. You'll get bumped for "appointment" clients all day long and your name will be next on the board the entire time. There is a time board with names that show 5 minutes intervals between clients. It's a scam. It takes no less than 15 minutes for them to process a single client. My name was next for an hour showing a wait time of 5 minutes. During that period only four other clients was processed. Most often patients do not have a choice of lab corporations for their blood draws. What we can to is complain to your insurance company. Believe it or not, it will result in a phone call to the manager, who, of course, won't care. Or you can kill time by composing a lengthy and negative Yelp review while you're waiting.

Then the blond girl ripped my scripts aparts and told me to sit down. Patsy told me Atlanticare only takes patients with my insurance "as a courtesy" making me feel like an inferior/outcast who shouldn't even be here. Meanwhile the blonde was making up several labels with my last name & birthdate because she said she didn't know how many Patsy would need. One of my tests was for a tick bite, lymes & rocky mountain. "Oh ticks!" Patsy sternly said. Real professional. What if it had been an HIV or cancer test. Wonder what remark she would have made then. After a painful needle, she handed me a small cup to pee into & told me to meet her at the door with it when I was done, which I did. She then told me to open the cup while she syringed the urine then told me to dump the remainder in the toilet & flush while the blonde yelled "have a nice day." I went back into the bathroom, flushed, and yelled back "I'm just going to wash my hands again if you don't mind!" Threw out the container with my last name & birthdate, personal information which should be shredded, but then the blonde probably threw out a bunch of unused blood tubes with the same labels. Finally I left after unlocking the door, still before the 11am closing time. DO NOT GO HERE ON SATURDAY. You risk identity theft & being treated very unprofessionally.

This is a combined review for several services. Once or twice you may let something slip by,…read morebut.... 2 times now the radiologist compared my a new scan to the wrong previous scan so of course the comparative results came back inaccurate. Additionally, on a more recent visit for an MRI with and without contrast. The radiologist missed my port when injecting the contrast and it went under my skin instead of in my vein. Always have a nurse access your port. Doctors don't do it often enough. My saga doesn't end there. I had to get an additional, successful MRI at a different facility and pay them my copay. Advance shore had the nerve to bill me for the botched procedure. This is now 9 months they're pestering me with unpaid invoices. I am actively working with my insurance company to reverse their payment as well. When all is said and done, I will bring legal support in to fight paying this charge and let everyone I know in the process.
