Very kind people work at this facility. The wait is never long for blood to be drawn.

I'm only giving this lab a three because the technician who drew my blood was pleasant and competent. The front desk staff, however, is rude, unhelpful, and scream your name from the back three times in a row not even giving you a chance to respond and get up from your seat and walk in. I dread going there, except for the fact that the technicians are usually nice. I think Labcorp needs to train their people on customer service because these ladies obviously have not been trained. Furthermore, it is extremely difficult to understand one of the ladies at the front. I think that's why people are hesitating walking in the back because they're not sure if it was their name being called. read more

I came here the other day for routine blood work. I attempted to check in using the kiosk but the system kept spinning. The lady at the front desk was facing her computer in the opposite direction so I stood there waiting until I was finally able to get her attention. After waiting several minutes in the lobby then again in the examination room, the same woman from the front desk came to take my blood. She didn't wash her hands but she did put on a pair of gloves and she wore a mask but it had blood splatters all over it. She poked my arm a couple times until she found my vein. I've been to many lab corps and this one was your typical location. Staff was friendly. The guy that took my blood was really nice and friendly. I have a history of passing out during blood work and he kept me relaxed and was chatting with me which really helped. I would def return to this location. read more

They've instituted a new check in procedure using kiosks. People are taken in by being on a virtual line depending on that check in. My friend never appeared in the list, asked for help from various staff...3x...was told they'd be out to check why she still waited watching a brisk stream of others go ahead of her for 45 minutes! Terrible! This was at 10am. I can ONLY imagine on weekends or after work hours. read more

UNFORGIVABLE! Staff had masks below noses and no gloves during a deadly pandemic. The tech put me in a dirty room and put my things (a book and travel mug) on a DIRTY paper towel that had splatters of a prior patient's BLOOD on it. OMG! That is so wrong in so many ways. He told me I could clean it with an alcohol wipe, and did nothing to help, nor did he apologize. It is unsafe to have my things touch someone's dirty blood. Who knows what diseases they might have? The room should have been cleaned before taking me in there. He seemed to have no clue what to do. I told him to get someone else to draw my blood. read more

If you go here for a blood test, be prepared for the cattle call. While the technicians are very friendly, fast and professional (they better be fast because Labcorp needs to push folks through here as fast as possible), the receptionist is one of the rudest people I have ever encountered. She wears a constant scowl, and talks down to every patient I have seen her with. Simple questions from patients are met with short, clipped responses. God help you if you choose the wrong clipboard or miss filling out a space on the form. You will be redressed loudly in the crowded room. She should recognize that all of the patients that sit in "her" waiting room pay her salary. read more

Horrible and unfriendly people. Second time in a row I have had a scheduled appointment and they claim I didn't anf made me wait! Most rude and nasty people. They make you feel stupid and that u don't know how to use the computer to schedule. I even had the print out and they argued with me! Not worthy of even one stat. read more

I had an appointment at your Phillipsburg/Lopatcong office on 12/26/18. It felt as though the phlebotomist ripped the needle out of my arm to the point that I even said ouch that hurt. She under her breath apogolized, but there was no way anyone with experience could have been so rough. My arm still hurts today, Friday the 28th, and is bruised. I trying to contact customer service to tell them, no luck yet. read more

Very rude lab technician at 1 PM today, 4/27/2020. As a Nurse myself, I was mindful to wear a mask/gloves and not touch anything, during COVID-19 precautions. Tech brought a 2nd person in the very small room & told her take my BP. I asked "In training?" as Tech never introduced herself nor 2nd person. She said "yeah kinda, sit there". They didn't wipe down BP cuff before putting on my arm nor after removing from my arm before putting cuff back in cuff holder. My BP was sky high, I said I think I should recheck it after a minute, it seems much higher than my usual. She ignored me, only talking to 2nd ? tech. Then tells me to sit in the phlebotomy chair, and says "look away". No why, just to look away, then a 2nd "look away now" when I was trying to show her the vein they always have success with. I figured she didn't want me to see the stick, then she finally said "I don't want to be close to your face". Good sense even with both of us wearing masks, would have been better had she said that straight away or even acted like I wasn't a big inconvenience to her being there! I didn't see her put on fresh gloves or wash her gloved hands before the venipuncture. I'd asked for a paper towel to put on scale so I didn't have to step on it un barriered with my socked feet, she says "Just leave your shoes on, if you want". So much for an accurate height/weight! Then she refused to re check my BP at my request after the phlebotomy, curtly saying "NO, I have no way to charge $ for a 2nd BP check" Hello, I could have pushed the BP button myself if cost were an issue! Which BTW that is never a good reason to ignore a clients request. Not to mention it is good clinical practice to repeat & double check a reading if a client points out it seems unusual for them. BOTTOM LINE, very rude tech, not to mention her POOR role modeling if that 2nd person in attendance was in training! OVERALL, a very unpleasant experience and I will not chose to use that site in the future for my annual biometrics and labs. read more

I was fasting for a 9:15 appointment. I was not allowed to look at my cellphone. Magazine choices were...golf. My prescription had only my last name, not hyphenated with my husband's, so they wouldn't process the prescription.They refused to call the issuing physician and made me go outside to use my phone. My blood sugar was very low. They copied my credit card info if my insurance didn't cover costs. Simple lab work was $785! My doctor faxed a new script and i was ready. They let a student try to take my blood, but the needle was inserted too far for blood flow. Never again! read more
