I 100% do not recommend coming to this Labcorp location. The check-in system was incredibly disorganized and they do not honor appointment times. I checked in for a walk in employment drug test, I waited for over an hour while the employees let other people who were 20+ minutes late for their appointments go before any of the walk ins. several times while the waiting room was just about full, employees would walk in and out of the office on their phones, seemingly just meandering around while people were waiting to get lab work done. My walk in appointment was quick and easy! The whole process took all Of 15 mins . I was skeptical reading other reviews but this is my 2nd time great experience. I would suggest morning time because when I went in the evening it was sort of a wait but as anything that can fluctuate due to walk in appointments being avail and as any other place in America short staffed ! I came to the office to get a lab test for employment. You check into a kiosk and then you wait endlessly for someone to check you in at the desk. They have appointments and walk ins. They are extremely disorganized and their excuse is that they are short staffed! Not sure why you check in on a kiosk as this delays things instead of improving the check in process! When you complain, you are told to speak with the corporate office? This is not the solution to what is going on in this office right now. They should go back to people signing in on a clip board and calling patients one by one. This system and the staff are not efficient!! read more

Made a drug test appointment through my employer. Got there 15 minutes early and used the wait in your car feature and checked in online. I got nervous and went inside in case I didn't get the text right come in. I signed in again and at first it added me to the walk in wait lost but my name quickly disappeared and I was called back within 10-15 minutes of waiting. I usually don't have much of a problem at this location. My visit yesterday (6/15) was another story. The office was really busy because there was only one employee working. She was doing a great job and the best she could under the circumstances. The phlebotomist that drew my blood was not good. She left a huge bruise on my arm and was generally not pleasant to be around. She hardly said 2 words to me and just made the whole process unpleasant. Got off early and decided to go in. My original appointment was at 3:30 and I arrived at 2:00. I tried to call multiple times to see if I would be able to come in earlier and no one answered which does not make sense because they were not busy at all. I walked in to ask if I could check in earlier and the woman that I asked looked at me like she was confused so another lady answered in a very off putting tone as if it was a problem. I still was able to get seen earlier which was good but people need to learn how to speak to customers when they walk in. All in all, working in the front requires customer service skills which needs to be worked on at this location. It makes people want to go to another location. read more

I received prompt and courteous service. Kiosk service is available for patients to scan your health insurance and identification card. I was in the waiting area about 10 minutes before being called for services. Danielle, phlebotomist, was outstanding and I did not feel the instrument inserted to draw blood. The receptionists are rude. They Looked at me like I was crazy when I walked in, they didn't speak and rudely told me to go check in on the machine when I told them why I was here. I told her I was ready to pee right away seeing as though I just drunk a lot of water. She giggled and told me I can sit and wait until I am called. There was one other person in here. That person was in and out in less than 10 minutes. As I am waiting, they are having personal conversations. I waited for 30 minutes and was the only person in there. I went and to do a drug test for a job and everything went smoothly but a week later when I got a email saying that they didn't put the label on numbers on my specimen.. it's missing numbers.. so I have to do the test all over again because of someone else's mistake.. they had one job to do and they couldn't do that and it wasn't barely anyone in the waiting lobby. This place is a sad joke of a lab. The office is in shambles, they have portable AC units scattered about because they either can't or won't pay to got the real AC working. Walls need paint and plaster work, the computer system for all employees needed several reboots just to get them to function and I luckily stopped in an hour early only to leave an hour later with only two people ahead of me the entire time. This is my first time to be in a LabCorp and it's at Oxon Hill, MD: I experienced exactly the same thing as what this other reviewer wrote: "The receptionists are rude. And, when they called in the patient, the receptionist just said to go to this room number without anyone leading the way; without even trying to find out if the patient has a low vision or not despite seeing the walking cane. The assigned three ladies are totally incompetent. They need to improve their patient service and care. It was still early in the morning and only a number of people around but they made us feel they hate their job and it showed with the way they dealt with their clients. read more

The office opens at 7 a.m. And the stay didn't arrive until 7:05 a.m. Staff is surly and asks like they are doing you a favor. When orders are sent electronically, they can never find them and swear the doctor never sent them. Would avoid this location if possible. read more

This is probably the best labcorp location i've been to (even considering its a low bar). I had an appointment at 11:30, showed up, was seen about 10 minutes later, the rooms were clean, they were able to find a vein and keep talking to me to keep me from feeling anxious (i am not a good blood taker). I will definitely be returning. Note - there's a weird dirt road before the turn off into the facility. Don't take it. I definitely regret that off road experience. read more
