If I could give no stars I would do that. The receptionist was extremely impolite, impatient and just plain mean. I left without having my blood work completed because of this person's rude behavior. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and told her I understood that her position was demanding. She continued to treat me like I was lucky to be in her company. I would guess that the fact that I chose to leave the Ocean City location (five minutes from my home) and drove to Ocean View location (twenty-five minutes from my home) tells the tale of the customer service. The staff and the person would took my blood at the Ocean View location were a breath of fresh air. I checked in for my appointment and waited 10 min only to be yelled at by the receptionist. She has a thick accent and is difficult to understand. But it was clearly snippy and when I told her that I didn't know everything on the blood panel she got plain mad. Forget that she is violating HIPPA by yelling my info across the waiting room, why was she mad? At one point she yelled I don't want to argue with you, mind you at this point my comments had only been I dont know. So I go back to give blood and it's the same lady using my arm to work out her anger. Had routine bloodwork done here and they hit a nerve. I will NEVER return. The situation was handled so poorly.

I went to Lab Corp for routine bloodwork while on vacation. My appointment was for 8:15 am but I got there early and was done by 8:05! The man that took my blood (Irvin) wasn't super chatty but he was fast and efficient. I didn't run into the surly receptionist. I would definitely go there again if needed. read more
