Quest Diagnostics - 700 Rogers Street, Lowell, MA…read more This experience felt like paying for Nobu and receiving McDonald's-level service. I checked in as a walk-in using the kiosk (there was no receptionist), and the system assigned me an 11:10 AM appointment. I arrived and checked in around 10:15-10:30 and waited. By 11:20, my name still hadn't been called or displayed. Another patient was also confused about not appearing on the list. When I asked a staff member how far behind they were and explained that the kiosk had assigned my appointment time, she walked away without responding. I then had to explain the entire situation again to a phlebotomist, only to be told staff were "too busy" and asked if I had received a confirmation text -- something I was never told was required. There is no human oversight of the waiting room, no receptionist to help when the kiosk fails, and no effort to verify whether checked-in patients are being tracked. The process felt disorganized, dismissive, and unprofessional. Quest charges premium prices for essential medical services. The service at this location does not match those expectations. This isn't the first time I've had issues here, which suggests a recurring problem rather than a one-time mistake. I would not recommend this location until staffing, communication, and basic customer service are improved.

I went to Quest Diagnostics Lowell location today. The check inn process was easy at Kiosk. The…read morewait time was less then 5 minutes. There was a free parking spot outside building. Location was close to 495 highway. There was an issue with insurance and billing code when I went inside. Rosa was very helpful. She called doctors office and got correct diagnosis codes and took care of insurance problem. Rosa went out of her way above and beyond to take care of the issue. The service was excellent. I would recommend this place and will prefer to go to this place if required in future. Rosa and other staff members were very friendly and helpful. Keep up the good work guys. Very happy with your service.

My experience at this facility was very upsetting. They were running tests that where unnecessary,…read moresuch as a pregnancy test, and gave me trouble when I stated "I am not sexually active and just saw my OBGYN 2 weeks prior". The PA Loucraft verbally attacked me in the room and when I told him I felt it was an "unsafe situation" and felt that another person should be present, he opened the exam room door for the entire public and staff to hear my exam (breaking hippa). Loucraft ignored the fact that his actions had me visibly shaking, nervous, and in shock and continued his exam of me life normal. He didn't even lay me down to fully examine my stomach and didn't even listen to my stomach. When I called the receptionist informed me that "if the provider determines that I need a lab test, such as h pylori, then they can order it to be done with the ab outpatient". Then Loucraft says, no I am not able to do that. He gave me a zofran prescription and told me to follow up with my PCP on monday. Now my background, I am an NP myself and know that he could have ordered the test and printed out the lab slip and I could have had it done that week. As an NP, I also know that I was verbally attacked, not listened to, being charged for services I did not require, hippa was broken, and not given the appropriate treatment for my illness which will cause more harm than good. When you become a provider you take an oath to DO NO HARM, and during my visit that oath was not followed by Loucraft. I will be calling the patient advocacy line number that I was provided by the very nice receptionist (the only staff member that was amazing).

Great, 1-day scheduling! Not great? Their need for oversharing. They want my SSN, AND a copy of my driver's license (a picture, not just the number). When I fill out a form in the doctor's office, I don't mind so much, because that probably gets digitized badly if at all, but this was an annoying on-line form (even if you go to their office you are going to be doing it on your phone--ugggh!) ...Now I get it, they are a place that is used to dealing with, well "Perps". (Drug testing, paternity testing, gosh knows what else.) People being forced to use this companies services by the courts, their employers, or their sports team. In other words, people who have no choice. Well, I'm not a perp, I do have a choice. I am a person who would rather pull his pants down (bending over backwards mind you) than to share this info with people I don't know. Quick--- would you give me your email, mobile number, home address, birthday, SSN, and image of your license if I met you on the street? No? What are you hiding? I won't do anything with it... I didn't think so-- start standing up for yourself, walk out like I did, eventually they will stop demanding pointless info the nurse does not even know why they are collecting. I found Costco will do a next-day appointment for a Moderna booster as well, and they don't require ANY SSN or driver's license. I'm sure Walmart, and all the other pharmacies don't either, because they don't treat their customers like perps.
