It is far more efficient if you check in via mobile phone, which a provided link allows you to use if you made an appointment, as it is enabled 15 minutes prior. If you use the kiosk, you still have to scan your dl and insurance card even though all is on file. Using the mobile is just basically one click and sit. Most of the phlebotomists are skilled and friendly. There is one though that is a little rough and sometimes bruises me. The overall experience is quick and efficient. I did notice that the urine sample cups have switched from a jar with a screw-top lid to a flimsy Dixie-like cup (imagine a plastic soda cup made smaller) with a snap-on lid. Seems like an accident waiting to happen. My guess the criticism of the other reviews might be folks that are walk ins.

It's a fast process - walk in, check in on a screen, wait for a representative, fill out minor paperwork, take down insurance info and put a credit card on file. You are then taken to do standard medical procedures, such as weight, height and blood pressure checks. On to my assessment: the PA, Danielle, was very knowledgeable about my issue and was able to offer a variety of solutions, including ordering a prescription for me at my local pharmacy. She reassured me that I can come back in in a few days for other solutions if the results of this visit are not fruitful. Overall, I'm very happy I chose to come here instead of attempting to arrange a doctor's appointment for a later date. I'll have to update this review based on my results and how the price affects me financially. --- Update: I was charged $150 for this visit. My insurance did not cover it. Very expensive, but if you feel a visit it necessary, then it might be worth it for you.

I told her right away that giving blood for any reason makes me extremely nervous and she got right down to work-- I hardly felt a pinch, even when she switched vials, and there was absolutely no bruising (!!!) the next day. A++ for the effort there. The decor needs some updating and it would have been nice if I had been taken care of in a more timely fashion, but the nurse was exceeding kind, so that's where the fourth star comes from.

I fasted both of those times, one of which was supposed to start at 5pm which means I didn't eat breakfast or lunch that day. It is now 6pm. No calls, no texts, no emails. I tried calling the number they gave me, only for a voice-mail to tell me they are "closed" followed by an immediate disconnect of the line (so no voice-mail option for me to even leave them). I'm so irritated that I plan to call the life insurance company and ask them if they will accept the blood work that Labcorps recently did for me, and an exam with my own doctor. Bottom line: No one shows up after I've fasted. No one even calls to explain why. I cannot proceed any further with the underwriting process as a result, so this means no life insurance for us unfortunately. So I'll be doing one of two things: Seeing if there are other options besides Examone. If there are none, then I'll hunt down a different insurance company who allows other options so I can move forward with this process, instead if being left hungry all day with Examone.

I donated blood last year and filled the bag faster than my wife even though she started first. For this draw, it started off questionable when the tech said "You have good veins, I'm not going to use a tourniquet." Then she wiped with alcohol and BLEW ON MY ARM!!!! The first stick was slowly inserted and mildly uncomfortable (I don't have an issue with needles). No blood. The tech was confused. She then stuck me two more times in the other arm. No blood. She kept pressing on it too, which was....weird. I didn't get the impression that the mobile techs get very much training.
