My wife and I went to LabCorp in Modesto @10:35 am today. When we walked in, there was 0 patients there. A woman Christy looked at us and murmured something. I asked her to repeat what she said, she started raising her voice to the point of yelling "I told u already". I started putting my driver license in the machine, it would not work. Christy angrily walking out and tried to work register machine, she had difficulty too. Since she was so angry, we decided to walk across the hallway to Q diagnostic, there were 18 patients waiting. They treated us very politely, an was able to draw blood an collected urine in 5 minutes. I am a medical doctor practice in town for 39 years. , I have never treated so poorly by para-medical personnel. I just want all patients to know there are other choices. All you need to do is to walk out and go to Q diagnostics. You don't have to get a new order forms. Q diagnostics will treat you well and do a good job for u. The new location is better, but the lady that is always working the sign-in window has a bad attitude. She was rude to my wife today when we had to take in or 3 day old baby girl. Our doctor sent us up with a STAT order so we where anxious, this lady couldn't have cared less. We will be filling a compliant. read more

This was my second time I came to Lab Corp. The waiting time is unbelievably under 5 minutes on both visits!! My first visit was with Calvin who took my blood test. He was so professional and gentle with the needle. On top of it all great customer service ! Two days after I had to go again for more blood test. Again, less than 5 minutes wait till I saw Nena. She was wonderful. Great to talk to and I did not feel the needle go in!! That's a skill!! I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. The front desk lady Maria and her supervisor Carla represent pure "incompetence". They seem incapable of dealing with humans or their tasks of providing lab work services. The way I was treated there is just not acceptable. Maria did not find my prescription in the system, instead provided an aggressive attitude blaming me, she refused to call my doctor to verify the blood work prescription - in fact, she refused pretty much everything. I walked out the building and verified with doctor the lab work WAS on file in the system. After returning to LabCorp the supervisor (Carla) did nothing to defuse or redirect her incompetent front desk lady, in fact her incapability of dealing with this situation put more oil in the fire. Maria at the front desk who caused all this tension and confusion should not be allowed to communicate or interact with any human beings! Why Maria is sitting in that position baffles me. At the end I was at LabCorp for nothing for about one hour senselessly exposing myself not just to their incompetence but also to possibly to COVID. DO NOT EVER USE LABCORP !!! read more

I would give them a negative rating if it was an option! What a bunch of idiots. They screw up my mom's blood draws half of the time. She has a standing order and has for two years...they still can't get it right. Today....went to this location to find a sign posted that they moved.....gave new address. Proceeded to new location only to find out they have no computers to get blood orders and no fax machines to receive orders from the doctor. REALLY????? I have no faith in the quality of their testing either. We are looking for another company. read more

There new office is 2076 w Vista way suite 275...sooooo much better. ....much nicer staff, and plenty of places to sit...

They are capable, speedy and caring. If there is a issue regarding an order that your doctor failed to forward to the core, they contact the doctor and your are processed quickly. I routinely have lab tests other labs are not as efficient. read more

I was a little scared of going here with all the bad reviews. I was fortunate to have a good experience though. I setup an appointment for 9:15am on a Monday. I arrived at 9:10am and was called exactly at 9:15am. The lady at the check-in was friendly. The phlebotomist was friendly and patient and all went fine. No complaints. read more

We came to the Vista office last year. My son is autistic and we needed a blood glucose test. We saw Mr. Todd who was fantastic. My son's anxiety was through the roof and Mr. Todd assured him and got all 3 sticks on the 1st try. I will say that the waiting room us small and stuffy. Last week I called to make sure Mr. Todd was working today. I explained to the lady that my son us autistic and has high anxiety. I suggested making an appointment. She assured me that no appointment was necessary. So, we showed up at 6:45am. My son's anxiety started to elevate. At 7:00am, I asked the gal at the front desk how much longer because my son was getting anxious. She told me 40 minutes! I begged her to please move my son up. She refused and said there was nothing she could do. She suggested that I make an appointment. I told her that I tried to last week but was told I didn't need one. She agreed that I didn't need one. ??? So again I asked her to please move my son up and she absolutely refused. We left. Went home and made an appointment for next week. We'll see if they actually honor my 7:00am appointment. read more

Understaffed, you think they would hire more people for a BRAND NEW LAB, been open a couple months, i waited a half hour to pick up a cup for a sample, that was even before i had made my appt!!!! I arrived early for my scheduled biometrics appointment. It was busy, no big deal... And got in right in time. Unfortunately their staff is fairly untrained on this type of screening so the guy fumbled a bit. I was taken aback by how off the BP was though... My husband had the same experience earlier, but I know my BP (I'm not only an RN, but I took it when I got home as well and at bring irritated I still came below 120/80). They kept registering it at 155+/90, which is 30 points higher than I've had it ever, including after I shattered my ankle 6 months ago and was in the ER waiting on pain medication. He kept retaking it saying I was too stressed out (if a shattered ankle didn't get it there, pretty sure the 20 foot walk there wouldn't), and I asked for him to do a manual as I felt his machine was incorrect. Not only do they not have one, he admitted to not knowing how to do one. At this point I was not okay with how they were reading my numbers (and my insurance rates our bill according to these numbers) so I declined to finish, which was when the staff became even more rude and condescending. As a medical professional, I wouldn't recommend going here unless absolutely necessary. read more

Had to have blood and urine samples today. I didn't have an appointment, showed up at 9am sharp got in and out in under 25 minutes it was great. The girl that drew my blood was really nice. The facility is larger than their old place. I have to admit when I was leaving at 9:25 the check in line was long. read more

This is for the LABCORP at 2067 West Vista Way Suite 275. If I could give negative stars I certainly would. This Labcorp is the most inefficient and unprofessional lab I have ever experienced, and I have been a nurse for 18 years. The first person I was greeted by was rude and bothered. Then all I could hear was one of the male lab techs complaining about a lab item that was changed. He was in the front where everyone in the waiting room could hear him saying, "They need to change that sh@*." Although I made an appointment and arrived 15 minutes early, it took the registration gal 25 minutes to enter my information. All the while three white-coat lab techs sat in front gossiping and talking. While the entire waiting room stared at them waiting to get on with their busy day. Finally, I get called back 15 minutes after my appointment time and the lab tech starts complaining that he has to do a biometric test. I said, "And you're making it obvious you're not happy about that." He replied, "No. I'm not." Well guess what buddy?? Neither am I. But my employer requires it, so there I was. When I left I asked for the manager's name and was rudely handed a card that simply said LABCORP. No name. No contact person. Honestly, this place is an atrocity. I will NEVER use labcorp again. Especially when QUEST is so much more professional. I would steer clear of this place at all cost, unless you want to be treated rudely and be made to feel like you're bothering someone. read more
