The receptionist (Latin male) was professional and courteous and Rosa was an amazing phlebotomist!!! She knew that my veins were small and rolling but found the BEST way I've ever seen to draw. today 6/4/2026 I took my senior citizen mom to have blood work done. This is her 3rd time with LabCorp second time at this location. The blond latin female she got was a brute. My mother is used to having her blood taken every 3 months and pricks her finger to check he blood sugar so she is used to needles This brute individual inserted the needle When a insensitive way. When my mother complain her reply was "Be grateful that I got a vain" When my told her that she is used to getting blood work done but it didn't hurt that much the individual once again was rude in her reply saying it was a needle it was going to hurt or something like that but when my mother asked if she got all the blood she needed because it was several test and she had turn her head the individual again rudely said yes look two and raise her hand to my mothers face show her the two vials. Such individual should not be working with people. Prior we hard a boy crying out loud. When he came out I saw he was like 9 and I thought not even my nieces acted at like that. But when my mom told me how her arm hurt I said no wonder that little boy was crying out loud. Immediately my mom was like oh yeah if it heart me it must have hurt that boy. Afterword my mother and I went elsewhere and 3 times in the car she kept saying how her arm hurt. Not only does the individual a brute when drawing blood but she has insult to injury with her rude and uncall for attitude. No professionalism nor empathy. My mother said she rather make an appt to have to taken at her medical center even if is a specialist that is requesting the blood work though they are not good at sending the results to the requesting doctor but at least she wont experience pain or rudeness. .If you do not like your job then find a new one, one where you do not have to interact with people . I was a walk-in I was attended quickly, but the nurse Trish, that was there was very unfriendly and actually quite nasty.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would! I came here on Saturday only to be treated very rudely and told that walk-ins for testing is done only MON-FRI 9am-1pm (which wasn't listed on their site before I came). Then I come here now (on a Monday at 11:50am) and there's a sign on the window says, "Drug screen only by appointment today." I asked the lady at the front desk about the sign and she said sorry, try again tomorrow, we only have 1 person working here today to do it. read more

LabCorp's North Miami lab is located on the campus of Jackson Medical Center, in a professional office building. I made an appointment for a pre-employment drug screening with LabCorp the night before my visit, and it was very easy to do so on their website. When I arrived at LabCorp, I had a very difficult time finding parking and had to circle the building a few times to wait on someone to leave. I arrived at LabCorp and went to their lab on the 2nd floor of the building, and checked in through their tablet in the waiting area and was promptly called to check in. About 5 minutes later, I then was called back for my drug test. The employee was very quick with getting me checked in and was friendly. I then completed my drug test in a matter of minutes and was in and out in less than 15 minutes. Overall, it was a great experience, just wish parking would have been a little better. read more

I get that some people just hate their life, their job and everyone they come across; simply put, misery loves company...but if you're getting paid to do a job, why can't you do it and at least be respectable and somewhat kind? Came here for a blood and urine test (Friday July 13) and they're like your typical lab in Miami; you make an appointment online and just show up etc. Doctors, employers etc will send you to these places since it's much cheaper than having someone on staff that does this work. The lady who called me in who was either Puerto Rican or Dominican (dark skinned) in her mid to late 30s should go work at McDonalds in the kitchen...that way she could learn how to deal with other humans and take orders from someone who speaks her language and not think the earth revolves around her. PLUS, she'd stay clear of any customers or visitors to that particular business. She calls my name and so I enter the office and I follow her down the hall; she enters an office with the door barley open and slips in...I stood outside the door since she didn't even bother telling me anything or even opening the rest of the door for me to enter. She then says..."you can come in" with an attitude. She then tells me: "Go down the hall" so I did but didn't know where to go or what to do...then she comes with an ugly pissed off face and then grabs a cup from a cupboard, and tells me: "pee in the cup, you have 3 minutes, don't flush and use this room" which was a door with nothing on the front and just a toilet inside. After I finished, I went outside to which she met me and took the cup and told me: "wash your hands and go to the other room" to which I looked down the hall to a bunch of doors...and felt stupid since I wasn't sure what other room I was supposed to go to...they were all closed. To make my long story long...this imbecile should find another career or go back to school and get an education to learn another skill set; simpletons that need to go here to get a blood and urine test should never be subject to face someone like you. If you hate your job, your life and have no friends, I kinda understand why; it's because you feel justified to make everyone else's life godforsaken miserable since your own life is probably in moving train wreck and people run from you. I've got an upcoming physical so came in here for the lab work. I was a bit hesitant given all the bad reviews but it was such a wonderful experience. The secret to avoiding a long wait is to make an appointment. I had an 8:15 am appointment but because I'm still jetlagged, totally overslept. There was no way I was going to walk-in and have to wait who knows how long so I made another appointment for 11:15 am. Check-in was quick and easy, verified my information and made a copy of my insurance card. I sat down and before I could finish taking photos for this review, they called my name. Listen to the previous reviewers and avoid this place if you can. The wait time is extremely long and there are not enough seats in their lobby to accommodate everyone that is waiting. If you do have to use this location, plan on waiting for 1.5 -2 hours before you are called in for your appointment. Also, do not rely on the "check in through your phone" feature that is offered after you make an appointment online. It does not work. Instead, upon arrival, check in through their kiosk by using the QR code that was emailed to you after making the appointment. Then stay inside the lobby so you can hear them call your name. They will not call via telephone or text you if you are waiting outside of the lobby. On a positive note, the phlebotomist that assisted me was very gentle and friendly. read more

I took my friend's daughter who in college nearby for blood work. She has a medical condition that sometimes causes her to faint when blood is drawn, so her mother asked me to go with her. Appointment was at 10 am, we were seen after 10:40. The female Latinx technician was in a rush and would not listen to the girl. The girl told her she had a medical condition that causes fainting and the technician insisted she was just afraid of needles, that she's done this for 30 years and knows what she's doing. She refused to listen and was so rude to us both. The girl felt sick right after but the technician told her to hurry up and get out. So I went and sat at the first floor since there was no seating. After a while I checked in the delay and the receptionist said she called my name 3 times. This is absolutely the worst place Ive ever gone to have blood tests done. The tech only had to do 2 small tubes of blood and my arm looks like it's been through war. I have never had anyone ever attempt to do a blood draw from my upper arm before. She kept moving the needle around while she was working. Here's a hint..if you can't find a good vein then try the other arm to find one before damaging the one you've decided to be working on. Less then 12hrs later and my arm has a 2" black and purple bruise with dark lines through it. Not to mention the pain every time I need to bend my arm since it's just above my elbow. The office staff here are some of the nicest I have ever encountered at any lab. It was very easy to make an appointment online (even though they say it's not necessary), and they send email and text reminders if you choose to have them do so, which makes things infinitely easier to keep track of. My sleep medicine doctor was actually the doctor who ordered the blood work, but when I asked the staff if they could also send it to my primary care doctor, they were more than happy to do so once I provided her information to them. They were very professional, and answered all of my questions completely. The waiting room was a bit chilly, so bring a sweater, especially if it's during the warmer months when you're usually not dressed for cold areas. I didn't have to wait very long before they had me back in the chair, and the phlebotomist that took my blood was very nice, seemed happy to be at her job, and didn't have to dig around in my arm for a vein (I tend to have rolling veins, which look beautiful until you have to go take blood from them, then they flip!). It was a routine lab appointment - nothing super special or intricate involved, and though I have been here many times before, I figured I should finally leave a Yelp review! I was dreading coming here for the first time after reading the reviews. I came here after the Naval Hospital messed up my labs THREE times in a row. I timed how long I was in the office. By the time I registered as a new patient, got my blood work, and got into my car-it took 11 minutes!! All the staff were friendly. They also do standing orders, so you don't have to worry about getting new blood work orders every time like the Naval Hospital requires. You, and your provider, can access your results online. One thing I don't like as an overall institution is, you can't reach them on the phone directly. I definitely recommend coming here early! read more

Absolutely the worst lab I've ever been to. I came to get a drug test for a job. The lab was full of people and their "check-in" machines do not work. There was one person in front of me who tried checking in in the machine and told the lady at the window that it wasn't working so she checked in him. When it was my turn she asked what I was there for and for my ID. Her tone was very unfriendly and condescending. 45 minutes later I was still waiting, I go to ask the lady at the window if there's an update on how much longer, and she asked for my name and I guess she forgot to write down my info before because she then asked me to show her my appointment information and gave me a paper to write down the appointment number. Not only am I here trying to hold my pee since I'm here for a drug test, I've seen every one that was here before and right after me come and go, and I'm still sitting here. It's now been almost 2 hours and I went back to the window to ask the lady once more for an update, she didn't even acknowledge that I was at the window and just kept writing something on her computer until I tapped the window, when I asked how come everybody that was here before me already left her reply was that there are two departments and that that's why I see some people leave even though they were here before me. But I find that hard to believe as I saw some people that came after me go to the same department I went to. Don't bother calling tried that before taking to long to find right entrance. Look for labcorp on a sign facing freeway not sideways facing street it's on right of driveway. Beware! I had a blood extraction in a Miami location. Apparently, the technician could not find a vein so she literally stabbed me. My arm was black, blue, bruised and swollen for several days. I called LabCorpt to report the matter and was told that a supervisor would call me back in 48 hours. It's now been one week and I haven't heard back from anyone. Apparently, they don't give a damn. I've come in with appointments and as a walk-in patient. The front desk staff here are always friendly and willing to help. I've never had an issue with wait time or order confusion. Even if the lab orders haven't been received, they work quickly with the doctors to get the orders confirmed extremely quickly so you don't waste your and their time. In the back, the phlebotomists are always friendly and work quickly. I've never had a venipuncture mishap/blown out vein. This office is well-organized and does great work. read more

Waste basket overflowing in the room where the blood was taken . I asked why they did not empty it . She said that it would be done at night by janitor . I have had to have my blood drawn many times for a variety of tests over the last month. I have been to the location in San Diego(La Mesa) once, a location in Murrieta(Hancock Ave) 5 times, and this location twice. This location is ran horribly. The staff are unfriendly and they are unorganized. All of my tests have been ordered with a STAT priority, which although means I shouldn't have a long wait, I've waited 1 hr and 15 min each time. I've also noticed that individuals who scheduled appts had to wait usually 20 min or more past their scheduled time. The other locations, I walked in and waited approximately 10-15 minutes, even with a full lobby of people. Having been to two other locations, the only explanation is that the staff is slow and inefficient. read more

getting results is impossible; they email you that results are ready then when you try to access them they can't find email associated with account. Provide social, date of birth, phone, address and fill out new form 8 times and zero. Try calling and all you get is recording. Do not have time to play games or deal with this kind of performance.
