CJ was an absolute prick - pun intended. Super rude and condescending. I arrived 30 mins before they opened waited 90 mins to then have his condescendingly tell me that emails may take a while, it showed the documents got to their inbox at 740am then he lied and said that time wasn't accurate on the email inbox. When it was discovered they had the actual orders they didn't both to check in the correct places. I asked for him to remove old blood work then he lectured on how that wasn't possible and that it was up to the patient to figure out what blood they needed. Then it came to drawing blood he said he couldn't figure out the quest codes (because he wasn't looking in the correct area). Worse experience coming here and I've been going there for years. I hate this place. I hate it with the fiery passion of a thousand suns. I honestly don't know how Labcorp stays in business except, I suppose, with the help of idiots like me. No more. Every single time I've been here they've not had my lab orders, despite my doctors (yes! doctors! plural!) having sent them in. The last time I went in, it was through a new doctor, and I was hopeful that whatever issues the systems may have had communicating were limited to the previous doctor's system. Surprising absolutely no one, they did not have the lab order this time either, despite me telling them the exact date it was sent in and showing them the confirmation in my doctor's client portal. The employee did not seem surprised or sympathetic in the slightest. Just sent me on my way. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me three or four times and you lose me as a customer for life. When your only job is to receive lab orders from doctors and you can't even complete that first step without utter failure... it's not a good sign, folks. They have also been consistently understaffed. One time I waited a full 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment time to be seen. They had one employee doing everything, which is inefficient to say the least and once there's one setback to an appointment, the rest of the day goes sideways. One star for the older phlebotomist who works there because she has a great bedside manner and is awesome at her job, and also because I can't give zero stars. Or else I would. Avoid like the plague, because if your doctor sent in an order to test for it, I guarantee you they won't have the order. read more

Mix of both things that LabCorp specifically is responsible +one particular employee. With the caveat however that phlebotomist was incredibly professional. LabCorp has long understaffed this facility & also offered limited hours. Waits typically run about an hour although I gather they have recently started offering a appointment. Regardless of time/day building lobby where Lab is located is completely full of people waiting - often there is no seating left. Also recently instituted a new checkout system that from what I observed at at least one and three people have major issues using. Ironically, the large number of insures listed to choose from do not include the host network in which it's located. From which a large number of the patients originate. Today observed patients who were frustrated for not being seen at the time of their appointment. Others who had come there for years even though the transition to LabCorp had appear had happened long ago. who's standing orders had disappeare. Called to window for my basic blood panels - employee VERY LOUDLY announced -so you're here for your drug urine test? Politely responded no here for some regular blood panels. Added that I would have entered my insurance but it was not listed as an option She sniffed - as if how dare I correct her. STRIDENTLY admonished - need to take payment overdue bill before blood draw. Asked for more info, as that was news to me. She shrilly clarified it was $12 & then upped hrr volume noting had been due since December. We all know how long reimbursement sometimes take to go to go through. Was only $12 - since she made it ringing clear that hour sitting there would be wasted because would be denied service if I looked into matter later & postponed resolving that. Hand her my card to pay - goes into some back room - stomps out w/ another person -. POed because apparently it wouldn't scan. From what I could see it looked like a corner of card was chipped. Not sure when that was happened -- had not had any prior problems. She clearly didn't appreciate having to sit there manually entering it - figured I would try to be nice - complemented her on stone chain she was using as a lanyard for her for her badge. She basically bared her teeth at me in some imitation of a smile & said - thank you it's to dispel negativity. As tempted as I was to throw it right back to her & respond - such a shame it's not working for your vibe LOL. Didn't because I'm a nice person. Her. Not so much. Fully cognizant it isn't world's most fun job & I'm sure she gets a lot of cranky people particularly - with this latest tech craziness. HOWEVER- just as having a bad day doesn't give Karens the right to harass others. Drag her job is doesn't gift her right to be so publicly rude Particularly to one who did NOTHING to merit such nastiness. While it wasn't precisely a HIPAA violation. It skirted around edges of it & was definitely not anything approaching good service. Terrible care! I usually go to my transplant clinics private lab, but had to go here on the weekend. This is second time using lab core. Both times, tech could not figure out computer! Meanwhile a simple CBC still has not come in a day later. Miss the labs before lab core took over. Also there check in sucks! You're holding your bag, cane and wallet, because you need to put all your different cards in a machine instead of the nice person at front desk just checking you in!! Lab core is awful!!! read more

They are too cheap to pay a receptionist so you have to do your own check-in. Numerous people had been waiting for hours. I watched one older gentleman have to try three times before somebody helped him. After two hours I find out they didn't have the test orders. One person in the waiting area had experienced the same thing. I'm a former Medical Laboratory Technician. I've had my share of inexperienced technicians treating me like a pin cushion in the past that has left me scarred about getting blood work done. There was one time a technician bruised me so badly after a blood draw, I ended up with a gigantic bruise around the injection site for 4 weeks. No joke, 4 weeks. My sister thought I had gotten into a fight, it was so bad. Located in a shopping plaza on the corner of Pilkington and Boones Ferry Road, this LabCorp can be tricky to find. You go through the glass door, up the stairs or elevator, then out the glass door on the second floor. See photo. I've been to this LabCorp several times already for blood work and each time, it's a clean draw, no bruises whatsoever. Not sure how they do it, but I feel comforted knowing that when I come to this location for blood draw, they can do no harm. I always request for a baby needle and to let them know I bruise like a peach. And each time, they would oblige my request. After each draw, they'll wrap my arm with compression bandages so firm pressure can be applied to avoid bruising. I knocked off a star because I've had problems getting my blood results in the past to the point where I have to come in person to find out what the holdup was. My doctor's office and I both have had a hard time reaching a live person on the telephone, hence for the in-person visit. TIP: Blood work results will take a few days and if your doctor's office still has not heard from LabCorp, have them call their customer service line at 800-676-8033 to obtain results. Individual LabCorp facilities will not have results, they only collect specimens. Other than their piss poor administrative abilities, the technicians here are friendly and competent at what they do. It's one of the better LabCorp locations, in my opinion. read more

I usually don't post reviews. I had to for this one. I went to Labcorp (Boones ferry road) in lake Oswego Walgreens on a Wednesday and was treated incredibly well. A female with brown hair was there helping me. I had an incredibly bad day, literally everything went wrong. I showed up for my appointment and of course on my end I didn't realize something on that I had to do for the apt. The gal there worked with me (while I wholding back tears). She was patient. The issue was resolved and I was able to do the appointment. I am writing this because I haven't meet such a kind person in a long time. We need more of her in this world. read more

They seem inept about providing good service to clients coming into the office and told me that I wouldn't be getting a bill but need to run my credit card for a POSSIBLE transaction too. I have been getting all my annual lab work, ie, blood draws, for over 10 years at this location. Every visit it is more complicated. The staff seem to always have a problem with their "outdated" computers and often do not know what they need to do to process the paper work. Worse, when they call the LabCore direct line for help, even the national folks cannot give the on-site staff correct information. This last visit (Mid-Oct 2021) I waited over an hour due to staff confusion about which internal code to assign to my lab work. I finally just asked them to draw the blood for the lab work they knew the code for and the next day I went to Legacy at Meridian Park for the rest of the tests. I had zero problems at Meridian Park. My doctors still do not have the results for the labs run & paid for from LabCorp... it is now second week into November. You can't reach them via phone... 100% of the time I get disconnected. This is too big of a headache! I'm finished using the Lake Owego LabCorp location for ANY lab work. read more

Nice facility but they only have 1 person working. This person does it all, inputs info into the computer, answered or doesn't answer the phones, runs folks lab work etc. There were 2 people in front of me when I arrived and I was there for over an hour. Okay, so I would not have chosen this lab for myself, it just happened to be the lab that works with the company I was recently hired for. This is my second experience, and the thing is that for a company that is in a business that people are probably not excited about, they sure do nothing to help make it more pleasant. Update 2/11/18: Since my original review I have since had two great experiences here. Months ago I went in myself because of convenience and had the time to wait that day and found that they have finally staffed this location! I had a great draw from a friendly and competent man, so I felt confident to bring in my daughter and husband for theirs (Last year I took my daughter in for a blood draw and they continuously poked her unsuccessfully, until I called it off and walked out, she was terrified to try again), this time they luckily had a pediatric nurse there for her draw and was wonderful for both her and her dad! Very happy that they improved their service. Original review: Horrible experience. They have ONE person working there to work the front desk, calls, and blood draws, etc. The waiting room is full regularly, with over hour wait times. Then when you call to ask how long the current wait is, to plan your day around it, they tell you just taking the phone call is delaying your appointment. I don't understand why they don't hire more staff. Avoid the Lake Oswego location. read more

Met her in the back, emptied my pockets, went into the closed restroom, peed in the cup and handed it back to her. She then proceeded to say "my sample was iffy". "Huh? "What do you mean it's iffy?" "Well you went to the bathroom too fast, faster than most". "Uh... Ma'am I don't know what you're talking about. I had to pee when I came in. What are you saying? Do you want to check my pockets or my legs for stored pee? What"? "Well no, that's fine. Have a nice day". Seriously? She just accused me of subbing my urine or tampering with my own damn sample. Fantastic job today! My daughter was really nervous today for a blood draw and Cheryl handled everything so professionally. She calmed her. Offered her to lie down. Found an easy vein compared to the past person she went to. She was patient and careful about having her stand and leave. Also she made some calls to get the doctor orders when they weren't there and my daughter had made sure they were sent...but cheryl took caRe of it. Not sure about all the bad reviews. I've been getting lab work done here for about five years. Place is clean, never have to wait, you can make appointment if you want, and I think all the phlebotomists have done a good job with the needle, and they have always been pleasant and friendly. Can't complain. They also accept Private MD in case anyone wants to get some labs done without having to ask their doctor!! read more

Just got my blood work done, and couldn't be happier with the seamless experience. The location was very clean, staff supper friendly and efficient, and I was in and out in no time. The nurse doing the blood test did a great job, didn't feel more than a pinch. My experience here was really good. At first I was concerned due to some of the negative reviews I'd seen, but it was great. I signed up online for an appointment and I waited about 5 minutes before they got me back. My blood draw went very smoothly too; about 5 minutes and I was done. Rude, unwelcoming people. The person taking my urine sample was not nice. Appointment had to be booked out almost a week in advance. Then, how are they able to take walk-ins? The best part of the whole experience was that they then LOST my sample for my drug screen. I now have to take the test while I am traveling across the country on my first day of my new job. At least it will be a different lab, but I really have better things to do with my time than be drug tested twice because of their incompetence. I'd recommend going to another lab if possible. Jessica was extremely inpatient and not very nice. I'm very scared of needles requested to have the needle opened in front of me to relieve some of my anxiety. She had an attitude and went to get another guy to draw my blood. August was nice about, but still acted annoyed. Legacy lab in lake Oswego is so much cleaner and friendly. Austin from Legacy should train this lab on customer service and empathy. It was 90+ degrees outside and when I came in for a urinalysis work, and after signing in, I asked for a glass of water. The lady sitting at the front desk was extremely rude saying it was my job to be hydrated and if she got me a glass of water she'd have to get one for everyone and she doesn't have time for that. I apologized but let her know I'm very well hydrated, it was just hot and I was thirsty, she huffed and went and got me a glass of water. Then I waited for close to an hour (they seemed understaffed), which was very hard as I had drank lots of liquids and had to pee. But I couldn't go anywhere because I was there for a urinalysis test. Overall very unprofessional and would not recommend going here for testing of any kind. read more
