For all the negative comments I see I can attest they are not lying. There are a few good people but unless you know their schedule it is a gamble. LabCorp needs to do better, but they wont it is just another Corporation.... customer satisfaction is not the goal.

The building was a bit run down, but the office inside was clean and sterile. I used their check in system through the phone and waited in my car for a technician to call me inside their building. When I checked in, I received a text on my phone about 7 minutes later to come inside to start my lab work. I went inside and no employees were to be seen for over 15 minutes. I was upset because the whole point of checking in on your phone is to avoid waiting in the lobby. I would have rather waited in my car. After 15 minutes two technicians came out and called me by name to come up. They both seemed to be in bad moods. I was told I might have a $150 copay, which I never had before, but maybe there was a change I was unaware of. The technician drew my blood and was miserable, she kept banging the viles obnoxiously on a bin as she went. It was a very odd situation. It was quick draw and I was on my way. I will not be returning due to the wait times and miserable technicians. I usually go to the one in Phoenixville, the staff are very kind helpful and attentive. They also follow the phone check-in by texting me and taking me right away and not allowing me to wait inside for more than a few minutes.

I show up to within an appropriate time frame prior and there is a sign on the door that this site is temporarily CLOSED. Why did I not receive notice? they were able to text email me confirming my appointment just the day before. I took time off of work to make sure I got my FASTING labs in time for my doctor appointment. Now that is not going to happen??? As per their customer service individual, I'm going to have to go to another location as a walk-in and therefore waste a Saturday morning or take more time off of work. They should permanently close this location! Look at other reviews... This is not the first time and I'm sure it won't be the last time.

I spent 24 hours…read morecollecting it and putting it back into the refrigerator after each trip to the bathroom and then I come in with it and they throw it on the countertop and leave it there. When I inquired about keeping it in the refrigerator like my doctor's instructions told me to, they laughed and said it doesn't need to be refrigerated. Well, that's funny because my doctor's office said that it needed to be refrigerated and I spent an awful a lot of time walking back-and-forth to the refrigerator for 24 hours. What kind of business that works with the public closes at 2 o'clock in the afternoon? I don't know any other lab in the entire town that is only open until 2 PM. What about people who work? The earliest I've ever seen a business that is open to the public close is 4 PM. Can you imagine only being open from 9 to 2 on weekdays? What a dump this place is also. It looks extremely Soviet and besides a nasty, yucky, terrible location the women who work in here have got to be the angriest people for having this job. They are rude, cranky, short with you and downright mean. How they keep this job I will never understand, particularly in an affluent area.

People who started to arrive after me were being taken back then I noticed people were signing in on a piece of paper haphazardly. I then asked the lady at the front desk if I needed to sign in on the paper and she said yes. I told her I signed in on the tablet and it took my info. She said the tablets aren't transferring the stats for sign ins. I told her that she then needs to put out of order signs on the tablets as I just wasted 35 mins of my time. Nothing mentioned signing in on a piece of paper anywhere nor did she announce that the tablets weren't working. The lobby was packed. I stood the entire time and didn't complain until she was assisting people who arrived well after me. This isn't a hard concept to grasp. Her only response was the tablets weren't working but did nothing to tell anyone or post that they don't work as numerous people arrived and continued to sign in on the tablets. Walked out. Won't be back. This is simple customer service and shouldn't be this difficult or be a waste of anyone's time. I get things break but have a plan in place. I imagine this isn't the first time this has happened so why isn't it obvious what they should do to correct the sign in process when this happens.

The woman who processed me at the Media location was rude and dismissive. They are overwhelmed. Every time (once or twice a year) I go into this location, there is an ENTIRELY new staff. (Either they don't pay a living wage, or the work environment is abusive, grueling, or all of the above.) I started coming to the Media location years ago because they were incredibly rude at the Ridley Park Labcorp location. Now, It makes no difference where you go. NOTE: Labcorp is anti-trans.
