Update: SCAM!!! its 100% a scam. Applied for a job with the USPS through an online application. A…read morefew days later I received an email from Geninfo wanting my SSN, date of birth, drivers license number as well as all my past license numbers. (Red flag 1) The email is pretty sketchy and unprofessional looking with weird looking links, like it REALLY looks like a scam as soon as I opened it. (Red flag 2) I understand the Usps needing to run background checks and making sure their people are reputable, but I've not encountered something like this before. There's just to many red flags. It's also difficult to find info about this company online (red flag 3) It just has to many red flags going on here to be real, especially for supposedly being associated with such a big organization like the United States Postal Service. I'll update if I learn anymore. Update: went to my local post office and talked with them and showed them the email and they confirmed it's a scam. They don't outsource info. They did say all their hiring is done online now, but it goes through the usps website and not through a third party. They also had never heard of this company before.
