Rude and unpleasant receptionists who are slow and inefficient. Had an online appointment and was not acknowledged until 25 min. past my appointment time. After finally being "put in the system", 30 min. past scheduled appointment time, was called in by an employee. I asked him about the inefficiency and he said they schedule 3 patients for the same time. I asked his position and he acknowledged that he was the manager. He said that he could not rectify the poor service. Lab Corp, you are a large company. You do have competition. Kindly improve your customer service at this location. read more

I just returned from the Labcorp on Sheridan St. I was worried that I would have a long wait because of the virus. I was in and out in 20 minutes. The lady at the front desk was friendly and professional. The guy who drew my blood was awesome. One of the best sticks I've ever had. This is the third time I've been to this location. Unfortunately, I couldn't proceed with my lab work due to a processing issue but not due to LabCorp. This Labcorp is the BEST. The one on sheridan in hollywood. I am in and out in a mater of 10-15 min, even without an appointment. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. They are truly amazing. Terrible terrible service and extremely long wait time. The lady next to me was a diabetic and was fasting since 7am when she got there and it was already 12 noon. She felt like she was going to faint and they told her they attended appointments before walk-ins. However you cant get an appointment unless you are getting blood drawn.. Not for urine/drug tests or anything else. Many people were waiting all day long and the receptionist was really rude. Someone even called the corporate number and they told her she had to wait at least 24 hours for them to look into what she was telling them. read more

I've taken multiple drug tests for jobs around South Florida and this was the first issue I've ever had. The front desk staff was rude when I asked how long the wait was and the woman taking the specimen was even worse. I peed and brought it out to be told immediately that it was too hot. Ok fine. I waited 30mins and went again now to be told it wasn't enough and didn't reach the temp strip and then heard an employee making remarks that I was trying to fake it somehow... after hearing that and wasting almost 2 hours of my day I left and told the prospective employer who gave me the job anyways because they even have heard of trouble with this place. I have insurance but for some odd reason they run yiur credit card for the full amount and then they credited back to you which I do not understand !! I am sure people do not pay , however that's not the case when I have a good insurance . also they don't tell you until they get you in the back room that they want your credit card!!! also not clean at all!! read more

This place is filled with the most unfriendly, unprofessional and inept individuals that I have ever seen. They have rude front desk staff, make patients with appointments wait for over an hour to obtain routine blood work only to get called in after others who walked in later, and the eye rolling phlebotomist who couldn't find a blue vein on my daughter's white arm was the icing on the cake. I guess they assume there is no need for good customer service skills, training, work ethics or job capabilities because most patients don't have the option of selecting another lab. I understand dealing with customers is challenging. However get over it LabCorp employees or find another job where you can work alone far away from other human beings because my dogs get more respect at the vet than your employees ever give to another person. Labcorp - My visit confirmed their employees can't read! - Laboratory Testing Near Me - Hollywood, Florida

I had an appointment this afternoon to have blood taken to be submitted for lab work as prescribed by my doctor. I scheduled this appointment at your Hollywood, Florida location for September 30th, 2016 at noon. My experience during my visit was nothing short of horrible. As someone who is absolutely terrified of needles, I made it a point to voice my fear to the technician who would drawing my blood. Unfortunately, I did not catch his name, but from the moment he called my name, I did not have a good feeling. Not only was he very short with me, but when I told him I was afraid of needles, he completely ignored me and could not have cared less. Some reassurance would have been nice. But this was not what bothered me the most. Once he tied the blue rubber band around my arm, he looked at me and said "I'm so burnt up right now." I go "excuse me?" in which he then repeated himself and said, "I am so burnt up." His comments were accompanied by this expressionless stare. I just ignored him, as I was confused and disturbed by what that could even possibly mean. To me, these comments were not only unsettling, but completely unnerving since this person was about to stick a needle in my arm. The test began and went by quickly. I did experience an extreme amount of pain following the removal of the needle from arm, but I can tolerate that for the time being. What I cannot tolerate is the rudeness and the comments made to me during this visit. They do not sit well with me whatsoever and I am truly shocked that I am even having to write such a complaint. The technician did not say another word to me and so I just assumed I was good to leave. I left the office in tears, so upset by what I had just experienced and due to the amount of pain I was feeling radiating up and down my arm. There was honestly not one ounce of professionalism or shred of human decency during my appointment and I would never visit this facility ever again. So this was my first time using this particular facility. Unlike other Labcorp facilities, this one was very clean and appears to be well organized. I came in as a walk-in. Within about 10 minutes, they called my name, took me in, and took the blood. After you check in at the kiosk, you are then called to the window. I had a lab test in North Port Fl. today. It was a most unpleasant experience. The woman at the desk was brusk and rude and worse when she drew my blood. She hurt me just cleaning the area, so much I winced. After the draw she put a gauze and a piece of tape, which was not adequate, I now have a big ugly bruise on my arm. I had the feeling she was very angry at someone. I will never go back! I use Millennium lab across the street. They have never been rude, caused pain or left a big bruise! read more

Last week Saturday, I had an appointment for 9:15, the lab was crowded, and the lady at the desk was impatient and mean... I rescheduled for this Saturday, and Ramona was at the desk (different technician), she was kind, pleasant and coordinated. Though the lab was crowded, I was in and out within 30 minutes. The male technician that assisted me was very nice as well... Completely different experience. Getting an appointment at ANY of their locations is a feat. Hope your needs are not urgent because I was unable to schedule a morning appointment unless I went over a month out. I hate that I have have routine blood work ever 90 days and am pretty much forced to go to this location because it's convenient and its coveted under my insurance. The staff is so incredibly rude! The phlebotomist are very nice however. The people at the front desk where you sign in and take your script are just terrible. I'm not sure how they stay employed. The worst one ever is Sara! The corporate office doesn't seem to care. I called once and they never called back. How hard can the job be really. Make photo copies of DL insurance cards and call a toll free number to verify coverage. I don't believe there's any reason in the world they should be allowed to disrespect anyone. It's terrible. I can hold my own and will only go there so he an appointment but I see many seniors there that get spoken down too. I feel like I should speak up for them. Last time that I ever go to one of these labs. Nasty irresponsible people working in the reception of that office on Sheridan St in Hollywood, FL. I made an appointment on their website for 11:30 A.M. My sister has dementia so she gets nervous when she is in a place a long time. I arrived at 11 A. Gave the receptionist paperwork, ins card. I was going to give her my sister's ID and she did not want it. That is very strange. How does she know if it is my sister??. Sat down and at 11: 35 went over to the recepcionist and told her at what time they were going to take my sister. In that moment, a girl in the back, oh Ok I will call her. My sister's paperwork was in another desk . People went in. People that had come afterwards. At 12 NOON I went over and I said, hey what is going on, she said, sir you have to wait and I said no, I don not have to take this. After five minutes they let her in. My sister had not eaten anything since the day before. I have to say that Mercedes is a professional. Very caring lady and very courteous. .These people who are the office and greet people do not have any manners. They do not care about anything. You are losing me I am sure that a lot of people think the same way. You know what, we are not in China. We have a lot of options and now, I know that we will never visit your company. read more

This place needs to get new management and employees asap. At least the front desk staff for sure need to go. No sort of structure here. Called labcorp to make an appointment for a procedure. Having an appointment made came in and immediately first they tell me that procedure is only done at certain times and it does not start for about an hour. I proceed to let her know that why would they make me an appointment for that time if they don't start for almost an hour later. She then proceeds to tell me I mean you could take the test but it's just gonna be sitting there for an hour till the lab opens. No apologies nothing. Get your blood drawn at your doctors and pay the extra fee next time. Saves time dealing with places like this. This is the last time I will be coming here. If you have to work and try to schedule an appointment in time to make it to work do not do it as you will be late to work. read more
