I never leave reviews but I feel a strong urge to warn other people about this lab. First off, I've…read morebeen coming here ever since they opened. Usually in the morning before work M-F. Nice people work during this time so if you need to go here I suggest you go then. I went yesterday, Saturday, 8/11/18. Big mistake. Hours are 7-11am. I showed up at 10:38am & got major attitude from the staff, which was 2 women. Patsy, the older one who drew my blood, told the other blond girl to "lock the door, this is the last one." Then the blond girl ripped my scripts aparts and told me to sit down. Patsy told me Atlanticare only takes patients with my insurance "as a courtesy" making me feel like an inferior/outcast who shouldn't even be here. Meanwhile the blonde was making up several labels with my last name & birthdate because she said she didn't know how many Patsy would need. One of my tests was for a tick bite, lymes & rocky mountain. "Oh ticks!" Patsy sternly said. Real professional. What if it had been an HIV or cancer test. Wonder what remark she would have made then. After a painful needle, she handed me a small cup to pee into & told me to meet her at the door with it when I was done, which I did. She then told me to open the cup while she syringed the urine then told me to dump the remainder in the toilet & flush while the blonde yelled "have a nice day." I went back into the bathroom, flushed, and yelled back "I'm just going to wash my hands again if you don't mind!" Threw out the container with my last name & birthdate, personal information which should be shredded, but then the blonde probably threw out a bunch of unused blood tubes with the same labels. Finally I left after unlocking the door, still before the 11am closing time. DO NOT GO HERE ON SATURDAY. You risk identity theft & being treated very unprofessionally.

There's something totally surreal about entering a warehouse setting where people sit on cheap…read morekitchen chairs in rows while an unwatched television's inaudible programming creates the only sound. Not quite static not really a hum just a bizarre addition to a room where no one speaks. There is a bland water cooler with hot and cold water. It works because I enjoyed a cup of cold water. Did I mention the room is clean with 3 walls painted one color and the third a color matching the kitchen chairs. Did they find a sale where there were only a few gallons of paint left? You check in at a kiosk on an i-pad. The warehouse babysitting employee remains silent until she calls names into the plastic walled chamber. Verification of your personal information. The hum of a printer interrupts the television static as another human is processed through. A happy gentleman appears ... He possibly is the blood taker ... A smile to calm before the process begins. As I watch my daughter staring in the same direction as all the others I wonder ... What do any of us want from a business that takes our bodily fluids. Cleanliness ... Robotic but absolute efficiency with a touch of friendliness. We can't expect customer comforts because they know we will come not out of choice but because our insurance company or medical professional said we must. So, I need to look at that tv to see if I can translate the background noise into a message that the image wants to share. As for my rating ... 4 stars. Not bad for a warehouse but definitely a cleaner facility than the next one down the street. Hummmm that tv has my attention as we wait.

The hours of operation listed on the door read: 6:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. Monday - Friday for lab work. I arrived at 7:50 a.m. to find several staff inside, walking around, failing to open the front door for six people. I waited about 15 minutes outside, in hopes they would open the door. But I could not wait any longer. I am appalled that this location could blatantly allow people to stand outside in the cold. I do not recommend this location at 211 S Franklin Blvd in Pleasantville. This is absolutely ridiculous. I have to go to work and this is the only day I can get my labs done. And they just watch people outside waiting like it's a game or sick joke.

There is one nurse in particular who is so nice to my mom and helps her as my mom does have limited English and can't read English as well. Also my mom has almost every disease from heart disease to diabetes and kidney issues and her veins are old and tiny but the nurse is still able to get her blood quickly and painlessly which is hugeeee! I give this place 4 stars just on that. If you have hard veins she'll find them. Minus one star for the stairs and difficulty that my mom has getting inside. There should be a handicap ramp in the front instead. Also the building could use major updates as it looks like it's about to fall apart!
