I've been going to the Galloway Labcorp several times a year for 15 years. Today (7/23/25 at 10:30 am) was my first truly terrible experience. The lab techs got confused and I was called to one room (by the name Wanda), then called by a different tech to a different room by the name Ronda. The second tech (very short hair), proceeded to scold me when she realized I had been called to a different room first but still came to her when called. I tried to explain that I was confused by them and just came when called. She proceeded to tell me what I should have done and that other patients know what to do, all in a very rude tone. She continued to be confrontational until I asked her name (I believe she gave me a fake name anyway) and I told her she could start a patient's day off nicely or shitty and she decided to start my day shitty. She told me she'd pray for me and turned her back on me instead of putting a bandage on my bleeding arm. I won't be going back to that location again. I'd never let her near me. read more

I don't get this place. I get there and it's about 15 people in front of me and it goes pretty quick to your name is called. And they put you in another holding area waiting for your name to call or I finish work 10 minutes and watch 20 people that got called after me go before me. They're calling out for people for appointments ?? I've had doctor's appointments before and they didn't seem to matter because they overbooked patients time slots. On top of that they call you from around three walls and a glass partition and you can't understand who they are calling. Then you got to get up and ask did you call me. And when you get to the people that are drawing your blood they do the same thing. Rather than come around in the morning clearly you got a guess and look at each other sitting here and ask them who they call? Got to do better than this place. Galloway LabCorp. read more

Transylvania is known as the home of history's most famous blood sucker. A count whose cape and mere glance strikes fear into all who find themselves in his presence ... Well maybe not all because I have met some with an odd fascination for all beings vampire but that's their personal problem. I note this because it seems that the administrative personnel working behind the registration desks act as if their customers ... You know, the people whose insurance or deep bank accounts pay their salaries ... are carrying garlic or crosses that will lead to their demise. Their glares reflect almost disdain for the humans coming to get tested for their health needs. Smiles must be disallowed by their management and insuring a stress-filled experience must provide them with promotional bonuses. Once upon a time blood and urine sampling didn't require visits to totally for profit centers like Lab Corps but those are the days long since relegated to the annals of caring health care where patient mattered over dollars. No one chooses to go to Lab Corps for personal pleasure and frankly if there was a way to avoid the sub par customer service most would. Yes, I understand that they deal with multiple insurance plans no one understands and crowds of people with worried looks but they seem intent on putting on their dark capes. So, why is this not a one star review? Because those who take the blood samples here are actually pretty good. There is one gentleman taking blood who meets the highest standards of gentlenesd and caring but the phlebotomists have been good too. So, it's a vampire experience fear and trauma followed by reassurance and when you leave you have less blood than you had when you came in. And, you know ... You will be back ... Husband went for bloodwork this morning. Gave both of his insurance cards. Was told he had a balance without the insurance companies being charged. Paid both came home with a receipt with only one insurance listed. Called billing woman hung up on him. Called office to make sure they had both on file. Phone rang no one picked ip. They hung ip the phone. He drove back a second time to make sure of the secondary ins was on file. Absolutely horrible service. read more

First paint the walls second don't call patients as if it's a Shop Rite deli.I noticed older that was hard of hearing.I chose lab corp therefore they are getting 500.00 worth of work..People that do come in are upset cause that blood work can determine their fate..We get it they are not paid enough said out loud . read more

The office was dirty and they allowed 25 people in the waiting room which was quite overcrowded there was no monitoring of me waiting room area to make sure there was appropriate distancing I would recommend going somewhere else read more

Unpleasant receptionist and lab tech who drew my blood. Very long waiting time. You have to wait your turn in a narrow hallway, then the tech stands in the room where your blood is drawn and yells your name. Not professional at all. read more

For the first time ever I made an appointment rather than walking in. Scheduling online was fairly simple and fast. Very limited appointment times,,even a week out. When I arrived there wasn't anyone to greet me. I signed in and sat for 10 minutes as I Watched a curt employee address other patients who had arrived prior to me. Once I was called I was expedited quickly. The tech was quick, painless at drawing blood and efficient. Something is lost in the customer service. This establishment has the worst customer service I've ever encountered. This morning both techs who enter the scripts were too busy talking with one another & 1/patient was completed in the first 20 mins. This is awful & then I was met with "Go someplace else" instead of actually working. Also tried previous Friday & staff was 30 mins late. Don't go here! read more

Every time I've needed blood, I've gone here. Although the process on how to get your bloodwork done isn't my favorite (not the staffs fault for labcorp procedures), the staff there have always has done their best to get everyone in and out. Most of the staff I've dealt with have been nice and helpful. read more

Lapcorp has taken the human factor out of the registration process, my mom finally got frustrated and came home. Had me go back with her to do it. I do not blame the staff there they have to work with what they are given. Once my mom was called they worked with her very patiently. The process went smooth and very quickly. Everybody there has always been pleasant and I feel for them because of the abuse I've heard from customer for matters they have no control over. All I can say is, Thank You for being there every day so I and many like me can get our lab work that is crucial to our well being done in a plesant and caring manner. read more

The representatives at Labcorp Galloway are consistently rude and discourteous. I will say the lab tech was mildly cordial. However, the office is filthy in the midst of a worldwide pandemic. There was crusty residue on the kiosk where you're forced to check in and I didn't see one person sanitize or clean before or after taking a patient's blood... absolutely disgusting. If I had the option of 0 stars that's how I would rate Lab Corp Galloway office. They were so rude. They closed the door in my husband's face when we unknowingly arrived at their closing time. She could have politely told him they were closing. When I was finally able to drop off his test sample, they apparently lost the test kit. How do you lose a test kit? We feel they are very unprofessional and we will go elsewhere. Take our advice, don't use lab corp. read more

The staff was so unfriendly and short. This is my second time going to this establishment for blood work. Check in was easy but the girl that took our information seemed annoyed and acted short and rude. She told me that they need a credit card on file in case both my primary and secondary insurance companies would not pay. I explained that I was recently in there and had two insurances and she was well every visit is different. So I decided to leave and go somewhere else. Will never go back there.The first time I was there, the tech that drew the blood continued to make conversation with the other male tech while the needle was in my son's arm. How unprofessional. Experience of getting blood drawn at Atlantic Care in Brigantine was first class but what is the problem with lab corp. Everytime I get blood drawn something is incomplete. This is very frustrating and need to be fixed. I am tired of being a pincushion. Get your act together. read more

No more talking with people to check in. They replaced the receptionist with a fancy set of iPad's to check in. I'm not going to lie it was a super easy process and actually really cool... it walks you step by step, scanning your license and then your insurance card. If you can't read you're basically screwed. If you need help they kind of say "this is the new check in process"... they still call your name, but they call your name from the side, so if you're hard at hearing... listen carefully or bring someone with you that can hear, or you will not know they're calling your name. It was funny watching everyone walk in that hasn't been here in a little while. Each person walked up to the front desk, had a look of confusion and then slowly approached this fancy iPad... and carefully read each word. One guy just sat down without checking in. That's not going to go well for him. They skipped over a person because she wasn't responding to her name. Basically be on your toes. Your name definitely gets called faster than I thought it would. I guess the online; iPad check in system speeds things up. So that's nice. Once you get back to get your blood work done - that's the best part. They're fast, and efficient. Sometimes they play soothing music, and have a fan blowing on you, which is nice. I've never met anyone I didn't like, but I guess I'm lucky. But I really feel like everyone back there is super friendly, and yes it's their job, but kindness always wins. Be nice to them, and they're nice to you. Know your veins, and which arm is your best arm. They'll listen to you. If not they will do their best to not hurt you. Today, I got one of those butterfly needles, that are thin and don't hurt. I didn't ask for it, but it was sooo appreciated!!! I'm giving them 5 stars because I really believe the Galloway LabCorp is the best one. Oh, and years ago when I was pregnant they had a room with recliners and tv's for the pregnant women I peaked in and it's still there. I don't think other labcorps have that. read more

I took my daughter for blood work this morning and I want to thank Ray Ramos from the bottom of my heart. Ray is a phlebotomist and has drawn my daughter's blood a couple of times over the years. Each time, he has been reassuring and incredibly compassionate. He is also gentle and is so good at taking blood that my daughter doesn't even end up in pain! Everytime, Ray has made the experience so much easier for my daughter. This morning, labcorp was very crowded and when I requested Ray, I was told that he was not drawing blood today and instead was working on processing in the back. My daughter was so scared and crying. I was told that I could go to the back and ask Ray if he would take her blood, but that he was really busy and might not be able to do it. When I went back to ask him, he was inundated with so much work and as it turns out, today was supposed to be his day off. But Ray was so kind and took pity on this worried Mama and came out to draw my daughter's blood. He was calm and caring and had her laughing and smiling. Ray Ramos is professional, compassionate and an expert phlebotomist. I am so grateful to him for calming my daughter and going out of his way to make the experience as pleasant as possible. If you have a child who needs blood taken, do your best to get Ray Ramos! read more

Worst experience of my life!!!! If I could give 0 out out of 5 stars I would. I came at 7:05 am on Saturday morning because they opened at 7am and there was already a line of 10 people to check in. I was a little shocked that no one greeted you and you had to wait in line to check yourself in on a machine which was odd. Not to mention took forever since one of the machines was down. Besides that, I finally get called back to get my blood taken and the nurse stabbed me in both arms and still didn't get any blood so another lady came in and stabbed me two more times in each arm and still nothing. I was literally crying in the chair. Finally on the fifth time, she got my blood and to top it all she told me she popped my vein. So not only did it take two different nurses and multiple tries, now I have a bruised and swollen arm all to get one thing of bloodwork done just so I can stay on campus at school. I highly recommended not to go here unless you want to be stabbed multiple times in the arm because the nurses can't find your veins. read more
