They are very accommodating and fast. The front desk is great and the phlebotomists are quick. Hardly any wait!

The phlebotomist did an amazing job, my veins are notoriously difficult to find and it was by far my best blood draw ever!

In fact, I had specifically told them I did NOT want to be on this service. However, they have continued to mail me replacement C-Pap masks and bill me and my insurance, even after I've called their office and repeatedly requested them to discontinue this. UDT used to be a respected and honorable company, and their current PA Troy is absolutely wonderful to work with. But their billing practices seem suspect to me at this time. Though I was hoping to have additional testing in the future, I will be seeking another company for testing and another supplier for their C-PAP services.

Avoid, dishonest business practices…read more My wife was referred her by our doctor. The first time we went to pick up the shirt, there was no instruction provided, and she wore it inside out so the data was invalid. We returned the shirt, and were not going to go back but UDT kept calling and harassing us, so we decided to try again. This time it worked, and so we went on with our life. A few months later we get a notice from our insurance stating that UDT didn't properly file the claim and they settled with them for a reduced amount. The settlement included a reduced payment for us. We also couldn't help but notice that they billed our insurance for two nights including the night for which they provided no training. We payed for the one night at the settled amount, and pointed out that we weren't paying for the first night because they didn't provide training. Universal diagnostic testing continued to send us bills for two nights at the full amount, and each time we sent back letters advising that it was fraudulent for them to bill our insurance for the night that they didn't provide training, and that we had paid them for the settled rate of the second night. After about three times doing this they sent it to collections. We sent documentation to the collection agency proving that the account was settled with our insurance, and that we had paid the settled amount for the night we actually received training for. At that point, UDT returned our payment check, put it on my wifes credit report and continued to try to collect. We disputed the debt with the collection agency and nothing happened for a year until the past month when the law firm for the collection agency sent a collection letter. Once again we sent them documentation from our insurance proving that it was settled through our insurance company, and that we had tried to pay the settled amount, and advised them that we weren't paying for the night for which there was no training. I will fight this in court if I have too.

Looking for somewhere to work where they listen to you and value you as an employee? Well look…read moreelsewhere because Sorenson Forensics is most definitely NOT it! The company is a joke. They've recently been letting A LOT of people go out of the blue. They promised to be transparent. They never were. There really is nothing good to say about this company. The workers are in constant fear of being let go for absolutely ridiculous reasons. The serology department is especially a joke. They fired the people who actually got their work done well. They're keeping all of the workers that either don't work or don't know what they are doing. The night shift lead is a joke. She is constantly "micromanaging" everyone but doesn't even bother to do her job. She walks around the labs and the offices with her two little followers and sit and talk the entire time. Neither she nor her followers work but expect work from others? She pretends to be knowledgeable about the subject but in reality she doesn't know anything. The only reason why she even got the job in the first place is because she was buddies with the supervisor. Her and her three followers create constant work drama. They gossip nonstop and will actually LEAVE the building to walk around outside to gossip. The CEO wanted to get rid of time wasting and wanted quality work. Yet they are firing the people who actually did the company good. They are keeping all of the people who don't work and create drama for the department as a whole. These grown women have nothing better to do with their time but create stress and drama for all of the other workers and yet they still have a job at the end of the day? This is pathetic and ridiculous. No matter how hard you work or how much you put into this company, you are NOT rewarded. They like to keep people who create drama and DON'T work. What a complete and utter joke. The only saving grace of this company are Jamie the serologist supervisor and Matt the lab manager. They tried to listen to their workers and actually got to know the people under them. They are amazing people and the reason why some of the workers are still even there. Jamie did everything and anything she could to help her team out and constantly went out of her way to promote everything that we did. Matt went out of his way to comfort the employees and help us out with anything that we needed. He answered questions as best he could and always made us feel welcomed. The other serology supervisor on the other hand... well let's just say she was in cahoots with her little night shift lead and they made the lives of all the serologists there miserable. She was constantly throwing Jamie's team under the bus for things to make sure that her team was safe from these firings. She doesn't care about anyone else but her team regardless of work ethic. If you want to work somewhere that is professional where they value your opinions, definitely do not work here. And stay away from the serology department.

This hospital caused catastrophic, life-altering harm to my partner…read more I brought him to Lone Peak Emergency Room after a work-related injury that resulted in severe cervical spine trauma. Despite clear symptoms of neck injury, they refused to perform cervical imaging due to "range of motion limitations." Instead, they insisted on a CT scan to rule out a pulmonary embolism, an unrelated concern. During this scan, 80 mL of ISOVUE-370 contrast dye was extravasated into his left bicep, a high-volume injection of a known cytotoxic vesicant when introduced into soft tissue. The radiology tech documented the infiltration ("IV infiltration noted"), yet no protocol was followed, no aspiration, no elevation, no surgical consult, no imaging of the injury site, no follow-up. He was simply discharged less than two hours later. Within days, multiple abscesses developed in his scalene and longus colli muscles, leading to a cervical spinal epidural abscess, septic spread, and ultimately a complete spinal cord injury (tetraplegia). He is still hospitalized and now permanently disabled. ISOVUE-370 carries FDA warnings and manufacturer guidance requiring prompt intervention when extravasated. Lone Peak Hospital violated standard post-extravasation care protocols, failed to monitor the injury site, and provided no documentation or guidance upon discharge. I have reported the radiologist and the facility to the Utah Department of Professional Licensing and the Utah Department of Health. This level of negligence is indefensible. No patient, regardless of past medical history, should be dismissed or harmed like this. If you or your loved one are injured, I urge you: do not go to Lone Peak Hospital.
