I appreciated this accommodation the first time I went there. Today, however, the voicemail box has been full all day long, preventing me from accessing the garage code info. With all of the construction going on in the area, street parking is not an option for me. In the past I have left a message and never received a callback. Also, the waiting area is so tight that there is no space for a wheelchair user to sit along the perimeter of the room. Imagine having to wait in the center of a full waiting room nearly touching the person seated behind you. It sucks.

The process is simple, you order and pay for tests online, make an appt or walk-in, check-in via the kiosk, wait to get your blood drawn, then go home and you'll receive the detailed results with 1-3 days. I waited for only a few minutes even though there were a few people before me. The Phlebotomist and I had a nice chat (Ashwaghanda) and I was out of there within minutes. The results started coming in the next morning, all within 24 hours. The best part is the very detailed information that comes with your results. Very educational and helpful. I am very impressed with the operation and very happy to have it. (My regular doctor would not order re-tests for items that flagged high. Quest/Ultra Labs helped me to help myself!) It's a win-win!

TIRZEPITIDE AT VITALOGY IS INEFFECTIVE…read more The FDA has made it illegal to compound or sell tirzepatide in early 2025, although they are not strictly enforcing it. BUT DON'T BE FOOLED. You might not care about the FDA, but that is not the point. The compounded product DOES NOT WORK because the ingredients to make it were stockpiled late last year with the imminent medspa/tirzepitide cease and desist. Stockpiling, or hoarding, ingredients to sell later renders a drug useless, and the public needs to know these ingredients actually DO expire. Not only that, in shipping ingredients can get warm, making it more INEFFECTIVE. The labs have been so inconsistent, especially at Vitalogy, where they have encountered roadblocks with production from their labs. They kept changing how it is dosed and administered, but never disclosed to me WHY, other than "problems with the labs" and I was misled the entire time. The truth is they are not allowed to be selling Tirzepitide, and the products they get from the compounding facilities are made WEAK or from EXPIRED ingredients. MY STORY: I've spent literally thousands of dollars here since early summer of 2024 in an effort to boost insulin and curb hunger. I started at 162 (female, 5'6"), and immediately lost 7 pounds in two weeks, then lost and additional 11 pounds over the course of about 9 months. I thought something was fishy, but had no idea what. I continually had to increase the dose, and by March of 2025 I was gaining weight and constantly hungry. I hobbled along on Vitalogy's product for another 6 months, working very hard to just to maintain my loss, thinking the problem was me. However, I was recently told by my doctor that any compounded Tirzepatide I was using had expired since, basically, January. I am livid, but there is nothing I can do about it. My doctor prescribed me Zepbound, and I now am using it directly through the Eli Lilly website on a "self-pay" plan, which is actually CHEAPER then what Vitalogy is selling their garbage for. At my last visit I was told my weight stall was my own fault, because I need 1,300 calories just to maintain my current weight. If I could eat that, or less, I would easily lose the weight or maintain the loss completely on my own--- WITHOUT PAYING $200 per shot/week!!! In other words, the Tirzepatide is supposed to do it's job. That's what we are paying for, and the bottom line is that their product DOES NOT WORK! I told my doctor I am only taking my for weightloss and he's fine with that, because Mounjaro is for diabetes patients and Zepbound is for weight loss patients. Insurance covers Zepbound for obesity, and since I am not considered obese and just want to lose a few more pounds and maintain the loss, I must self-pay. I am totally fine with that. If you are considering taking this medication see your doctor. It is easy to find someone to prescribe this medication. Your insurance might cover it (what could be better than that?!), and if they don't, Eli Lilly puts you on a self-pay plan that is $500 per (4) shots, regardless of the dose (and even less $$ if it's for starting doses of 2.5 or 5mg). I can even use my HSA card to pay. Nothing beats being under the care of a real doctor, and taking the REAL medicine. I WISH I HAD KNOWN THIS!!!!! NO MED SPA should be trusted!! This is my story with Vitalogy, but every other spa is like this. None of them are legally allowed to sell compounded Tirzepatide anymore. I am livid that Vitalogy just kept taking my money and no one ever said a thing to me. I was misled.

Over the years, I saw multiple…read moredoctors at this practice, Dr. Albrecht, Dr. Ambler, and Dr. Trout, and consistently encountered the same issues: a lack of compassion, prioritization of easier cases, and a clear disinterest in helping patients with more complex fertility challenges. The clinic is overpriced and engages in questionable billing practices. They routinely double dip by charging both insurance and demanding a large upfront deposit from patients. Worse still, if they cancel your cycle, you still get charged (despite what the contract says). Their billing department sends bills every two weeks but never returns calls or follows up on questions. It's nearly impossible to get a clear or honest answer about charges. The emotional toll of infertility is hard enough without being treated like a revenue stream. This clinic seems to exploit vulnerable patients rather than support them. In my experience, Denver Fertility Care operates with a stunning lack of empathy and integrity. Avoid this clinic at all costs. Nb. The merchant just replied and provided the very same phone number and email that have routinely not replied to our queries for years! BEWARE!

I regret not posting a review sooner. My overall experience with Denver Fertility Care has been…read morecomplete nightmare. On so many levels they are the WORST. First things first, Denver Fertility Care only cares about getting as much money as possible from their clients. Their contract is full of deceptive language and hidden fees. In 2023 I was a patient of Dr. Albrecht. I went through three IVF cycles but only the last one resulted in an egg retrieval procedure. At the end of cycles one and two, Dr. Albrecht called me to explain my numbers weren't ideal for egg retrieval and that he wanted to try a different dosage/combination of meds. Both times I said ok and would wait to hear from the nurse about my new regimen. During the third cycle, I arrived for a routine blood draw and ultrasound appointment and was told that I couldn't be seen unless I paid $3,000. When I asked why, the receptionist said she didn't know and couldn't reach the billing department. She only knew there was a balance, and it had to be paid or I couldn't be seen. This was the first notice DFC gave me about a balance on my account. As other people have pointed out, my only options in the moment were to pay or cancel the appointment and risk throwing the cycle off course. I paid and kept the appointment. Later that day I messaged the billing department and was told the $3,000 was a "cancellation fee." I had no idea what they were talking about- I didn't cancel anything. When I asked for more information, Angie from Billing (the ONLY employee willing to hear my grievance) told me she'd review the charges with Dr. Ambler. Lucky me! After Dr. Ambler, who I had never seen or spoken to throughout my IVF treatments, "reviewed" my account, she found more "cancellation" related fees. Suddenly I owed an additional $3,500! It's concerning to realize after questioning one fee, more popped up. Angie explained that the fees were the result of me canceling my first two IFV cycles. When I asked Angie if I could speak to Dr. Ambler about the bill, she said she would ask the doctor to call me. I made this request multiple times over the course of several months. I'm still waiting for Dr. Ambler's call. I guess she's too busy fleecing other patients to pick up the phone. I reviewed my previous interactions with DFC and the signed contract. At no point did anyone say, "We are cancelling your cycle and charging you for it. If you want to continue the IVF process, we'll need you to give us more money." According to the contract (see attached pic), I would be expected to pay a cancellation fee if I cancel "for any social or financial reasons." Neither of those things happened... I didn't cancel my cycle, the clinic did. The money issues are bad, but the complete lack of compassion is inexcusable. My 3rd/final IVF cycle resulted in 5 eggs and the creation of 1 embryo. My husband and I opted to do genetic testing. We were told the results would take one week and, when ready, be sent to Denver Fertility Care. After three weeks we still hadn't heard anything. I contacted the lab (Igenomix) and learned that they sent my results to Dr. Albrecht's office two weeks before my call. When I told DFC what the lab said, their response was, "Sorry, we didn't see their email. A nurse will call you to discuss the results." Five hours later, a nurse left me a voicemail saying the embryo's genetic testing results came back abnormal and advised me to schedule a follow-up call with Dr. Albrecht. When I called to schedule the appointment, I was told I couldn't speak to the doctor until I paid the $3,500 balance. I was naïve to expect sympathy from DFC. Instead of support or understanding, I heard nothing for almost two years... that's when they sent me a "Pay us or we'll send your account to collections" notice. I met with a lawyer about the letter. He reviewed my contract and concluded that Denver Fertility Care is in the wrong, and noted that I wasn't the first DFC patient to reach out to him. Also, most of the front desk staff are completely incompetent and lack common sense. While checking in for my egg retrieval, the receptionist said I owed a $50 copay. When I tried to explain that I was there for surgery, not a routine appointment, she stopped me and said, "The computer says you have a $50 copay." Moral of the story: this clinic's top and only priority is taking your money!
