This is a review for Maricel. I went in on Friday, February 27, 2025, and Maricel was great. There was a lot of people that were walk-ins, and I fortunately, had an appointment. She handled the patients well and was very nice and friendly. Although, some were not very happy. The appointments were honored and I appreciated it as I had to go back to work. Maricel, was the one to draw my blood and I did not feel the needle go into my skin. I really appreciated that. Thank you, Maricel, for being a true professional! read more

If I could give a 0 I would. This is the second time I come to this establishment on a Saturday and it's closed. The doors say they open at 7am and I have a 7am appt and doors are still closed at 741. How do you have an appointment scheduled and the place never opens? This is not the first time this happens to me. It's irresponsible and inconsiderate. Wasting people time especially while fasting, it's ridiculous. How do you run a business like this? read more

Labcorp - Laboratory Testing Near Me - Davenport, Florida

I had a very bad experience in this location the name of the lab technician was Maricel Martinez she had manners and she had no customer services skills I came in for a Hair Follicle Test at first she ask me for the referral I told her forgot it but I could get it, then I remember I had the the email of the third party lab where you pay for the test and I should it and I show it to her and everything was fine at the moment so she proceed to take me in and start filling the paperwork she told me that the hair follicle test it can only be done the scalp of my head I told her the employer told me I could get from any part of my body as long is 1 1/2 inches I'm bald headed so I have long beard she could get the sample from my beard she call her supervisor they had a conversation on the phone she ask me for the email that I showed her about my employer and without asking me if she could send it to herself she forward the email that was sent to me to my personal cell phone to herself thank she proceed to take sample of my hair after she finish taking the sample and making me fsign a few paperwork she received a second phone call from her supervisor after she hang up with her supervisor after 20 minutes approximately she told me that hair it wasn't validI ask her how is not valid after you took the sample and everything was sealed already I just paid $100.00 for the test she got the nerve to tell me that wasn't her problem we keep going back and forth I was being polite controlling and she kept screaming and the others lab technicians came to the room and she told them to leave the room with an attitude! That's not how a professional handle a situation i even told let me speak to the supervisor she didn't let me speak and there was no supervisor in site she kept screaming so I told her when calm down and figure it out with your supervisor let me know so I went to the waiting room in the lobby and wait out there for like 20 minutes and she finally gave me the receipt with attitude with an attitude! She's so unprofessional Maricel Martinez you need some training on anger management! read more

went in wit an appointment checked in the kioks. I was 10 min late so waited my fair share then 1:10 passes by try to check in the kiosk again since there is no really any personal. 10 min go by a lady is saying hey I have an appointment for 9:15 and its already 9:45. so I proceeded to stand up and question my appointment at 8am all she says loudly is your late ... and I have waited my fair share then she looks at the paper work and says you checked in at 9:20 even though I check in at 8:10 am... all this to say please have at least one person at front.. kiosk are not that reliable nor help the elderly people that were there trying to check in read more

The walk in time can vary depending on how busy they are that day. I have been here before and get seen fast but today I checked in at 6:15 and it gave a time of 9am and 9:30 I was still not seen and they told me that it gets pushed back if the appointments come in. So, you are technically waiting there all day. They need a better system or just let people know that they have to have an appointment because this is the only Labcorp in this area. read more

The lobby was packed , however majority of the technicians remain calmed. Within a moment of people walking g up to a particular technicians as she was calling for someone she became a little rude but gain her composure before closing the door.....I waited (5.5) hours for a UDS and my personal experience was great and technician was polite. I can see how they become overwhelmed. read more

Gladys is hands down one of the best Phlebotomists I've come in contact with. She definitely loves her job and she does it with ease. Anyone who hates having bloodwork done I would recommend you visit the Haines City location and ask for Gladys. read more

Rude staff. Couldn't tell me how much it was going to cost. Demanded a credit card up front even though they were planning to bill my insurance anyway. The lady told me I could go somewhere else if I don't like their policies.... So yeah. I'm sorry you don't like your job ma'am. I hope you find something someday that suits you better. For my part, I'll find a lab with friendlier staff and skip this awful experience read more

They had the wrong dr listed on my charts. A guy walked in with urine samples cut in line dropped off samples the office lady (Edna) took samples never washed her hands or used sanitize. Their express ck in was out of service. They were very rude and wouldn't do my routine blood work without the orders. Having to fast it's important that this blood work be done. Called dr office they don't open until 8:00. This office is so busy it's hard to get appts. The supervisor(lead no Supervisor on site (Arlene) was the lady sitting next to the lady they gave me a hard time about the drs orders. Called the corporate office they had supervisor for this facility call me. Upon going back in to provide info to obtain dr orders Edna called for someone else to wait on me. She stated she didn't want to talk to me. So rude. Wow, after telling Corp the express ck in wasn't working (Now it is up & running) both front desk windows are open now. This office is over loaded with ppl the amount is suppose to be 15 there are more then that amount is in here. And on top of all this I'm fasting for this test. Finally orders here, blood work completed and I'm off to get cracked. read more

Arrived as a walk in at about 6:05 am. I did the computer check in. Gladys called me up and verified. She was friendly and kind. Carolina drew my blood. She was gentle and conversational. I was in there a total of about 40 min. Overall, considering I had lab work, it was a pleasant experience. read more

If I could give this location a 0 review I would took 1 year old granddaughter for bloodwork due to a nuerologist follow up and encountered such incompetence from two technicians .They proceed to withdrawal blood from my granddaughter and were not able to withdraw blood so left needle in try to find location of vein when the tech couldn't find it called another tech which proceeded to do same thing meanwhile my beautiful granddaughter is screaming .I finally had enough and told them to take needle out such incompetence .I tried to reach out to company no response read more

Most disorganized place I've ever been. Be sure to make an appointment and maybe they'll see you after a couple of hours. I had an appointment at 1:15 pm but I finally had enough and left at 2:30 pm. I was in and out of Quest in 20 minutes. read more

I had a really bad experience at this location a few weeks ago. The Hispanic tech that assisted me was really inpatient. He was assisting my 9 year old son; of course every child is scared of needles. Well, this tech was so upset that he started saying if my son does not cooperate I will have to take him to the hospital. He then started arguing with my son instead of making him feel comfortable. The tech eventually lost his patience and refused to continue. He then attempted to assist another child. His reaction was completely the same! Instead the other parent did not like how he was behaving therefore she stated that he was unprofessional. He began arguing with her!! It was an entire mess!! Arguing in front of children made them even more scared. The supervisor (white older male) and Hispanic lady stepped in right away. Without a hassle they both assisted my son. My son did not cry or anything. They made him feel very comfortable so the process went well. I was so disappointed at how everything started out but happy with the end result. The moral of my story is, PEOPLE SHOULD NOT WORK IN A DIVERSE SETTING IF THEY DO NOT HAVE PATIENCE!! When entering a business like this employees should never behave aggressively. They should make us (customers) feel comfortable. We are allowing you to perform something that could potentially be hazardous. It's needles and blood, not WALMART. He should have been more safe handling the equipment, more professional with his behavior, more personable with his presentation!! read more
