Easy self check in by the pharmacy. I was seen quickly. Sheila, the phlebotomist, was outstanding. She was highly skilled and knowledgeable.

Quest Diagnostics

I drove an hour to this place and I think I may have left my ID there. I have called multiple times…read moreand no one answers. I have called the customer service hotline multiple times and they have reached out to this site more times than I can count. I don't understand why it's so impossible to just tell me yes or no if my ID is still there so that I don't drive an entire hour for no reason.

For the record, due to some early childhood medical trauma, I am terrified of medical offices,…read moredoctors, nurses, needles and (most of all) blood draws. I tried to get this blood work done at three different locations prior to going to Quest Diagnostics, but due to the specialized tests and tubes required, no one could do it but Quest. By the time I got to Quest, I'd worked myself into a panic. I explained my anxiety to Deb, and she was kind, patient empathetic and warm. She kept me distracted with pleasant friendly conversation the whole time, and she has an angel's touch. After decades of experience, she is a master of the needle. I had to give five tubes of blood, but in her hands I barely noticed. Deb made what could have been a really awful experience for me into a surprisingly pleasant morning. I am truly grateful to her, and I will definitely be using Quest again. I don't understand the crappy reviews here, except we all know often times the people writing the reviews are far worse than the folks they're complaining about. Be kind, be friendly, be respectful and you'll get it back two-fold a Quest Diagnostics.

OSF Healthcare

A friend who is like family to me was a patient in the hospital at OSF in Bloomington this week…read more He is suffering severe physical and mental health symptoms which make it difficult to care for himself at times. He was released on September 14th without his clothes or shoes, and without having any contacts in Illinois to assist him. They told him it was their normal procedure to dispose of patient clothing and his best pair of shoes. After much searching they were able to find his wallet, glasses and car keys but not the keys to him camper, which is his temporary home. I followed-up with the crises center that were working with him but they didn't seem too concerned that a vulnerable person was released in this manner. He may have made terrible decisions over the years that caused his dementia-like symptoms, but he is a human and deserved better.

Price lack of transparancy, lack of communication and price gouging causing patients and customers…read morestress and wasted money at the hands of the "professionsls" and services and tests they take is common practice and getting worse with their operational processes and systems and 3rd parties handling their operations.   While building lots of new buildings in locations (charging over 225.00 for a walk in visit which is never posted as the cost when you check in or on the walls or websites) then grab your insurance card hoping the insurance will pay for the ennormous charges for doing literally nothing for the patients or referring them to someone else is quite a scam. Seems Christie, OSF and Carle are now in the decptive business bankrupting many folks who even have high cost health insurance.  They bank on the price setting I guess and set them as high as possible and pricing services way more than realistic.  People are loosing all hope in the collections, medical and operational systems Illinois and these medical systems have in place.

John did a terrible job on my home inspection. I asked that he check specific things, and he said…read morehe did, and lied. There were many, many issues found including foundation and plumbing issues. There was a literal hole in the floor in a bedroom right down to the crawlspace where a toilet in the bathroom on the other side of the wall had leaked. There were rotten floorboards all in this area. All very obvious if he actually checked out the house. He also said he went under the house in the crawlspace. There is no way, as he is a rather large man. He would have caught additional foundation issues if he had actually gone under the house! When I called to ask and confront him about these issues, he would not work with me at all. I looked into a lawyer, and after talking over the case, the lawyer said he was friends with him. This guy is a terrible inspector and human, and is in cahoots with all the snakes of BloNo. A blind manatee would have done a better job. 0/5, would not recommend. Note, my inspection was done in 2012 or 2013, and I'm in the market for another inspection. I noticed he didn't have any reviews and thought he needed one so no one else would be victimized and taken advantage of.

What sets John apart from other local inspectors is that John has over 40 years of hands on construction experience including construction job site management, routine property maintenance, home remodels / additions and new construction. John is also infrared camera certified and uses his infrared camera on most inspections.
