I can…read moretell you beyond a shadow of a doubt that cross contamination is rampant there in the labs and no patient's test results can be considered accurate. They mostly hire people with a high school education that have no idea what they are doing and don't care. The new hires are shown how to operate a few machines that no one knows how to fix or clean. Everything is set up like an assembly line and no specimens are handled with care. Having a bachelors in biology, I tried several times over the years to bring it the attention of supervisors that things were not being done properly and patients and employees were at risk. Each time I was hushed and labeled a trouble maker. I finally found a much better job at another local lab in the area not affiliated with Labcorp in any way. I can feel good about what I do everyday knowing that patients are getting the correct test results. I would never allow any of my tests to be sent to Labcorp or my loved ones tests, not even when I worked there and it was free. I have witnessed firsthand serious mistakes being made and then covered up. I DO NOT recommend anyone allow their doctors to send their tests to Labcorp. You have a right to choose your lab. If your doctor only uses Labcorp, inform them of this review and tell them you will take your specimens to another lab and have the results forwarded to your doctor.
