It is difficult now to get an appointment online at Labcorp, but they will take you on a walk-in basis if you have your written orders from the doctor. I think my doctor had sent the order over to Labcorp previously, but to be sure, I asked my doctor's office to email it to me too, and I printed off the order and took the paper with me to Labcorp. Do NOT go here! One of the phlebotomist was very sweet but the other one was not. It took them 45 mins to input my one paper lab into the system and still did it wrong. I waited 6 business days (9 regular days) for my results just to find out they put the lab in incorrectly and that my sample had been discarded and I needed to go get my labs done again. This was only ONE lab and they didn't get it right. I would not recommend coming to this LabCorp. read more

This LabCorp opens at 7AM Monday-Friday. The staff came waking up the hall to start their shift at 7:02. This happened the past two times I have come here. The staff is brusque. The lobby appears unkept, needing new paint, carpet, etc. When you are called the phlebotomist is efficient, and that is the highlight. The service needs room for improvement all around. read more

I hate to parrot this cliche... but it really is unfortunate that zero stars is not an option. I *dread* going to a Labcorp and the fresh hell of each experience Today, waited 15 min to just pick up a container. There were exactly two other people in the waiting room... an older woman and a woman that spoke English as a second language. The receptionist was on a single call for 10+ min and the rest of the staff in the back hid to avoid human contact (apparently Labcorp hires misanthropes). No one would acknowledge or assist the English as a second language woman, so I helped her check in. The older woman (who had checked in before I arrived) was visibly uncomfortable because she had been waiting far too long to literally just be allowed to urinate in a cup. After 15 min of sloth from the staff in the back (who I was beginning to suspect was imaginary), there was flurry of activity as multiple staff members flew to the front to yell at the younger woman's family that had just joined her in the waiting area (it was now closing time). The receptionist and I tried to explain that the woman had been here prior to closing (just ignored, like the rest of us) and her family was waiting with her. This defense had the effect of enraging the deeply unhappy staff further as they turned on each other loudly sniping So yeah.... All the Labcorps in the area have (I'm sure richly deserved) dismal ratings but this location should be avoided at all cost. read more

If I could give a negative number or even a zero I would. Horrible, horrible experience. Lady at front desk should not be doing work with the public and clearly hates her job. Couldn't find my order and told me it was my problem. What a waste of time. She got nastier and nastier and kept mumbling under her breath as if I wasn't standing there and could see her face and read her lips. I said I was leaving and she said "you can leave now." When I asked her name, she refused to give it, and when I asked for a supervisor she said there isn't one. This was not my first bad experience with this location or this lady, but the phlebotomist had done a good job so I took my chances. Never again. As I was leaving another young woman stopped me and told me they had had the same experience that day and the day before. I'll be informing my doctors not to send me to a Labcorp and I will be taking my business to Quest instead. She argued with me about my name, and wouldn't even consider that the order was somewhere already but she wouldn't look. Rude, unhappy, antagonistic, uneducated, and holier than thou. Get a job behind a wall somewhere where you don't have to deal with any people, including co-workers because you put them in a bad position. We were referred to the office from the upstairs Doctors office - we walked in the doors as someone else walked out - we were immediately berated that we even came in the doors - ALL BECAUSE the office closes at 2PM - WTF. This young lady behind that counter should be fired - end of discussion. Not even worth the re-training or extra education The young lady was so rude and nasty to my Mother - which caused my Mother to be so concerned that she did "something wrong" by just walking up to the counter. This interaction caused her to burst into tears when she walked back towards the exit. This is not called for and very unprofessional! We will NEVER BE BACK TO LabCorp for any reason whatsoever. My Mother suffers from dementia and Alzheimer's - this interaction caused much trauma to my Mother, causing more anxiety for the day. YES, #FFS I get that your office does not do blood work after 2PM - (BTW - I don't get that either) .......how is anyone supposed to have bloodwork done? Really wish these doctors offices would go back to doing their own blood draws in office!! I scheduled an appointment on the Labcorp website at the Potomac St location for 10:30 am yesterday. I arrived to find the entire business locked and shut down. There were three notices on each of the doors. One sign said they moved to another suite down the hall; the second sign stated they were closed due to an IT issue, the third notice indicated that they were permanently closed and advised patients to check the website or head to the Highland's Ranch location. So which is it? Are they permanently closed or was there an IT issue? So deceptive and misleading! It took me 1/2 hr to drive to the HR location that closes at noon on Saturdays. I made sure to let the phlebotomist at the HR Labcorp know what happened. I showed her a photo of the notices on the doors. She took a snapshot and assured me that she'd look into it. Why isn't the online scheduling system updated to prevent scheduling at a location that is closed down? Why did I receive reminders about my appointment??This is completely unprofessional. and highly irresponsible. Labcorp must do better. Closed early. Lady was extremely rude to me and another man that was just asking where to go.

I have used the facility at 1550 So. Potomoc a number of times, but stopped going there. If you can get past the Reception Desk, the technicians are great. I was talking with one of the two receptionists when the other rudely interrupted and interjected her opinion. Her opinion was far off the subject concerning the matter that was being discussed. Additionally, the rude receptionist was calling for patients who already had their labs completed and left the facility. After a two hour wait, I finally left, as were other patients who tired from waiting. This used to be a great place to get your labs processed. What happened!!! I go somewhere else now! read more

Very disappointing to know medical professionals like this exist. The heavy set check in lady with brown hair that was bleached this morning had her name tag specifically turned away so people can read it to let everyone else know had bad her patient care is. I wouldn't recommend this labcorp facility to anyone given the unremarkable terrible quality of care in a medical setting. She chose the wrong occupation given how she treats people needing bloodwork. Her attitude as soon as I walked in was horrendous and she clearly hates her job and her life. I had an experience at my clinic where they couldn't get a vein, I came here because drawing blood is what they do. So I go back, the guy comes in sticks the needle in and couldn't get the vein, so he started poking around with the needle and there was a sharp pain, I screamed out "F**K!!! He pulls the needle out and didn't even cover up the hole when he pulled the needle out, no band-aid either, says he is gonna try the other side, I said no, I came here because you guys only do blood draws and I didn't want to get poked like this, he says i dont know what to tell you, I can get someone else to do it. My wife and I arrived for our appointment on time to see the waiting room full and were not helped for another 15 minutes after the appointment time. The gentleman who was working the biometrics the morning of 08/10 was very unfriendly, had poor communication, and clearly hated his job. It was as if he was performing in a contest to say the least amount of words in a day. The rest of the staff was more friendly but was bickering at the front desk in front of everyone and were all clearly uninterested in their customer facing responsibilities. If you'd like to be a number for a very bland, unhappy group of individuals you have found the ideal office. Outside of that, I'd recommend seeking whatever help you need anywhere else. read more

This place is not safe for people at risk for COVID19! There were 6 other people in the very small waiting room, ONLY ONE OTHER PERSON WAS WEARING A MASK. I made an appointment and checked in online to avoid spending time in a small waiting room. When I checked in I was told to come up immediately. but when I did there was no one at the desk. I waited for 5 minutes before the technician returned and asked if I was her 3 pm appointment. Apparently she was double booked since someone else said they also had a 3 pm appointment. Double booking is not a way to help people spend less time with strangers in a waiting room. Honestly, I don't want to be nasty about this review, so I'll just say a couple things. 1) You need more than one employee in the office LabCorp. When you have a waiting room full of people, it's not a good look. 2) People can hardly use a self-checkout at the grocery store without needing help, but more importantly, quickly. When you take away a person who checks folks in, you create a longer-than-needed queue. Not everyone wants to be at the mercy of someone having technical difficulties because you wanted to pinch pennies and automate the process. I literally had to come back the next day because of this issue. To add to the frustration, whilst I stood in line, your employee came out to inform anyone taking a urine analysis for a job need to come back the next day because they stop doing them at 5pm. What's worse is that the employee wasn't even sympathetic. It was more of a command than informational. Long story short, I hope you work on a more pleasant experience. Ditch the automation or make it easier. You have to serve older people too, which I'm not, but I empathize with them. read more

I went just after 1pm on a Friday. I did not have an appointment. walked right in checked in on the kiosk and had a short wait. the guy at the front desk, he was not unfriendly but he was kind of short straight to the point. The lady who did my blood work, was extremely nice. she asked several times if I was ok if I had a preference on arm etc.... she asked if it was ok to stick me in an odd place on my arm since she was having trouble finding my veins. my veins can be very tricky so I was absolutely fine with it. It was a very good visit and tho I have not had the best experiences in the past this one was good. read more

I have used Labcorp several times now when I have visited the US. I go for other reasons but I have blood tests done that I can get results from easily and the price is reasonable. My experience has been that they are professional, friendly and usually pretty quick. This can change like any other lab, but I have been happy with the whole process. I'm a little confused about the paper cups and lids that they left out at this location for urine samples. Thank God there isn't a coffee maker near by. I did see a wooden stir stick, so I am a little confused to say the least. read more

Wish I had read some of the reviews before I went here for my lab work. The receptionist was rude and unhelpful. My doctor had sent over the orders for my work, but they couldn't be found and I had to call my doctor's office to have them faxed again. I was at least expecting the phlebotomist to be good, since she does this all day, but she was horrible. Bedside manner stunk and she hurt me bad. I got into my appointment right away and with ease! Rebekah helped me with a drug screening test for my new job. She was very pleasant and sweet and made the process quick and easy for me! I liked that through my appointment I had the option to check in early and wait in my car until I received a text message letting me know they were ready for me. They have all the right precautions set for making sure COVID guidelines are met. Also as a fellow phlebotomist it pains me to see so many pictures of mild bruises because that is so very common with blood draws, and incredibly common if someone has small veins. I used Labcorp for the second time today and I was impressed. They were professional and the facility was clean but I thought their process was cumbersome and the lady at the front desk was curt but efficient. Today's visit was phenomenal as every step worked well and the office was highly efficient all the way through. Their checkin technology worked very well. I placed my drivers license nearby and it read and pulled up my records so fast I was confused for a moment. I completely the information requested which took less than a minute. The receptionist promptly received my records and verified my information and promptly sent me to room 2. The Phlebotomist was highly skilled and got blood immediately. After that I was on my way and the entire process from entering the office to departure probably took 10 minutes or less. I was and remain fully amazed. Well done indeed. read more

As part of a new hire screening I was to conduct a urinalysis screening. As most of these locations close at 4:00 or 5:00 I had to jump through hoops to get off of work early. I attempted to call them on my lunch hour to ensure they were conducting screenings but there was no answer. I called again before I headed there as I knew I would sit through traffic, again no answer. Drove through a half hour of traffic only to find out that they ran out of cups and there was "nothing they could do about it". How? This is all your clinic does, urinalysis screenings. How could you run out of literally the only product you need to run your business. When you get low order more, its simple. Massive waste of time and energy. Could have all been avoided had they answered their phone. Avoid this location. read more

(used to be 2-3 days, max) Often late adhering to scheduled appointments; if I take the time to make an appointment, they should be able to get me in at that time. Instead, I have to wait behind others who made no appointment. Finally, there is practically no way to contact them to try and rectify these problems.
