Directions to this lab was easy. There was ample free parking to the side of the building. However, it was a bit of a walk to the main entrance door. From there the directions were clearly marked on the front glass window. Then up the elevator to Suite 290. Inside the Quest Suite is a waiting room with two kiosks for check-in, no receptionist. I suggest checking in thru a link that comes via text from Quest. That's what I did & it was faster. They responded with a confirmation text to have a seat & I would be called soon, no need to check in again with the kiosk. My first name & initial of last name appeared on the TV screen. I was called back after just a few minutes of waiting & was greeted by a friendly Tech who led me back to a private room. It took a little longer than normal to complete my blood draw since my doctor's office faxed lab orders over separately. Not the fault of Quest. The Tech did a great job, I didn't even feel the needle! Overall, this was a good experience! read more

Went to get my blood drawn and had made an appointment online. Seemed simple enough. Arrived with enough time to find parking and walk to the building the office is in. Saw a couple of people standing by the door and inquired if there were no seats inside. Found out the office wasn't open even though it was supposed to be open at 7am. One of the people waiting was a nursing student and luckily she had the number for the manager who told her the code to unlock the door. I had checked in through the text message I received but the other patient couldn't check in as his appointment time had passed. I was seen half an hour after my appointment time. And the phlebotomist didn't listen to me when I said I had small, rolling veins. He did but he didn't. He stuck me once and prodded around. Then proclaimed the needle too large. The place didn't have a stock of little butterfly needles. Luckily the technician had brought some with him. The second stick was better but not really. I've had where I hardly notice the prick. Not sure if I would go back there. The downtown location I've had luck with so maybe I'll drive further next time. I love getting my blood drawn here. I can make an appointment through the app and only have to sit in the waiting area for 5 minutes before being called. Service is fast, efficient, and they have no problems using a butterfly needle for drawing from the hand. They recently had a change in staff/supervision which has led to immense improvements in the location's quality of care. It seems many of the negative reviews are from before the change in management. Now everyone there is well-trained on blood draws. Cat is the site leader and she is always so friendly and welcoming! read more

Do not go to this location! Had an appointment for a Saturday morning, to turn in a three day preparation Urin and numerous blood tests that had to be drawn that morning. The waiting room was packed and the list showed 17 people in front of me. It looked like that people that had an appointment over an hour earlier were still waiting to be seen. I waited 25 minutes and only one person was called back during that time. Someone said that there is only one person working. I saw the woman, when she got that one person, and she looked like she was totally out of it....hair all over the place and didn't even acknowledged the packed room. I then realized that at this pace... I will not be seen before they close at noon. Remember that I have time sensitive tests to take and process! If not, then I would have to do the three day tests all over again. I then went online and made another appointment at a different location. When I got to the other location I was a few minutes early for my appointment and waited only a few seconds after I checked in and was called back. Thank goodness!!!!!!! I hope I don't get covid from sitting in the crowded room! Either staff properly or shut this location down!!! read more

My experience having a blood test here was like something out of a horror movie. The phlebotomist couldn't find a vein, so she poked around with the needle in my arm. Then she jabbed another vein in the same arm. No luck. At this point I'm sweating. Then she pricked my other arm, poking me twice and digging around uncomfortably. At this point I'm about to faint. She asked for help from a supervisor who got a vein first go, but very painfully. (And yes, I had drunk enough water beforehand.) I left the lab bandaged up, with no apology from them for their poor work. (This was a stressful blood test to begin with.) I contacted Quest Diagnostics patient advocacy back in October, but never received a reply. They don't care. Their incompetent staff clearly need more training at their job and also in customer service. So my only recourse is to share my awful experience here, along with some photos of my bruises, to warn others against this place. read more

My senior mother was refused service at Quest MH on 290 Cypress,Tx because she late 5 minutes because she couldn't put the code into the check in system. She was fasting for her labs, she was told that her labs was not at that location. No one was willing to look her account up or call the physicians office to have them resent or call the other location. Then told her she would have to be a walk in if she wanted service and would have to wait an additional 1.5hrs after fasting for over 12 hours,(and she is diabetic). This was very poor customer service, disregard for the elderly and poorly ran office with poorly trained individuals with no consideration for people with conditions. This facility's check-in algorithm is absolutely awful. I am a walk-in and I get to the facility before anyone but one person ahead of me. I've waiting over 1.5 hours. Their automated check in process is intuitive but as a walk-in you do not get priority. We as consumers do not know how many appointments are already booked throughout the day so. They keep taking clients that are walk-ins alongside with their appointment log and your wait time KEEPS PUSHING BACK. At one point I was at 3 mins from review. At the time I am writing this, I am not pushed back 45 mins. Before that I was 10 mins. Then pushed back down to 30 mins. Convenient for corporate greed but not convenient for patients who took time out of their work schedule to get lab work done. read more

Absolutely disgraceful customer service, and extremely rude staff. I'm still waiting for blood results, after a week. This place is not fit for purpose, and should be closed down. Please save yourself the time and stress, and use a different location for your blood work. Update: Quest HQ promised to call me back but 'guess what', they never did. I called them and they finally admitted that this lab have lost my viles of blood, and they never ever sent it for testing. So, did they label my blood with someone else's name? Has someone else had my results and do they think they are more healthy, or sicker than they thought they were? This is an extremely serious situation, and one that anyone else could go through. I had an appointment for an employment, drug screen and blood test with an appointment scheduled. I weeded an additional 20 minutes past my appointment, and my name disappeared from the screen. There was a security gentleman that finally went back to Check and they claimed they had called my name - - which was not true!! When I questioned it, I was told that I was being aggressive and needed to leave the clinic. I did not even raise my voice! I would not recommend using this facility at all! read more

This lab drew the wrong order. They redrew an order from the month prior. When I called them I got every excuse in the book for their error and then tried to put the blame on me! Then I was told that I would have to call billing, etc to try and straighten it out. They incorrectly told me it was a HIPAA violation for them to do it. Hilarious. The doctor did not have my labs when I went for my appointment and of course I had to do the legwork to try and get this all straightened out. She even refused to apologize for their error until I told her she hadn't. What a farce. AVOID. read more

Wait times are always off, it will say 5 or 10 min but in reality you wait 20-30 min. The bathrooms aren't very clean for it being somewhat of a medical facility and they aren't well stocked. I wouldn't come here if my Dr didn't send me here for blood work. read more

Customer service and respect for privacy do not exist here. The guy at the counter was rude and non professional. I had an appt for blood work and my wife had an appt for BMI. They refused to see my wife at first saying she needed doctors orders. After a call to my insurance who called Quest directly she was finally seen an hour later. My experience with this office today was not good at all. I work in healthcare and the first thing I noticed was a violation of HIPPA. The employee who was at the front desk called out both my first and last name out loud when there were other patients in the waiting room. My full name is protected health information and I did not consent them to disclose it in a room full of patients. Later in the day, I called Quest to ask them if they had received a fax from my employer and the employee on the other line was unnecessarily rude! I was so annoyed and turned off as soon as she spoke to me. I'm never returning or contacting this Quest location ever again! read more

Incredible team, responsive, and concerned with best navigation of patients. If results are needed quickly for upcoming schedule procedures, the team is very understanding and accommodating to these needs and assists in every way possible to prevent delays for patients when they go for their procedures or for f/u visits with their doctors. Worst place...EVER!!!! RUDE AND STINKY STAFF This is the 4th time, in 3 different states, that's we've been to a Quest Diagnostics. The waiting room was FULL to the max! And only 2 gals working. The gal behind the counter didn't even look up when we approached her. So I asked my question and she looked up irritated that I had a question about the sign in. She then leaves for lunch and left the other gal all by herself. The phone rang off the hook the whole time we were there and only answered a couple times, and one time she forgot she had someone on hold and the phone beeped every minute for ten mins! A guy walked in to check in but the clipboard was moved by a worker and not put back up on the counter. I went behind the counter and grabbed the board and explained how to sign in. Everyone in the waiting room was angry at how rude these two gals were and how slow things were. It wasn't till after the gal came back from lunch and heard the uproar in the waiting room that they started moving people along and hurrying. My husband had an appointment, I did not. His was at 12. He wasn't called back till almost 1. I wasn't called back till 2. Then there was the lady that drew his blood....SHE WAS GROSS!!!! It was a tiny room, barely big enough for the 3 of us to be in and she STANK!!! SOOOOOO BAD!!!! Her BO was enough to make me faint! And she didn't speak English!!! She could barely ask him to verify his info. And when we asked a question...she just looked at us and shrugged. NOT COOL!!!! And I felt like it was her first time taking blood. There was blood on my husbands arm while the needle was still in because she was doing it wrong. And every time she changed the tube she wasn't holding the needle tight and it was moving around and causing my husband pain. She had to draw from both arms. She only put a band aid on one arm instead of gauze and tape. THANKFULLY the other gal drew my blood. Don't think I would have been able to handle her touching me. When we got to the car and my husband took off the bandage (he had them on for over an hour) he couldn't straighten his arm and I noticed a huge bump where she poked him in the first arm. We went back in and they informed us it was a hematoma. They put ice on it and he rested for a few minutes. He was fine the next day. We've had our blood drawn plenty of times. This was the WORST experience....EVER!!!! read more

Horrible excuse for a medical facility. Either they don't know what HIPAA is, or they don't care. They keep an unredacted patient sign-in list on the counter for all to see, call their patients by first and last names in the lobby to ask medical questions in front of everyone in the waiting room, and did my entire biometric screening with the door open with other patients sitting five feet away. To make matters worse, I was seen at 10:45 for a 9:45 appointment. What a joke. read more

I went in for a pre employment drug test. I arrived Ed at 3:15 and the tech told me that they don't do Drug screens after 3:00p. This is not anywhere on their website. I had driven 45 miles and asked if they could make an exception. The Tech said she could "with an attitude" and then proceeded to tell me 3 times that they close at 4:00p. I have her my test order with the barcode. It wouldn't scan and when she typed in the code it didn't work. She stated we don't have an order for you. I asked her to search under my name instead and she did and nothing came up. Even though I had an order with me. I asked her what do I need to do and she said I don't know we close at 4 PM She made no attempt to try to figure out why I actually have an order with today's date on it and it didn't work. As I was leaving another tactic asked what happened and I can't find my order even though I have an order right here. So the other tech looked over it more and realized that for some reason the order had expired at midnight that day. And she was very nice. Very helpful. I wish I could have encountered her first. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. Another reason the medical field is broken. Rude staff, and don't try and call cause you will not get a hold of a single person. I have been trying to call for 2 days because they haven't sent my results to my doctor and no one answers the phone. I've left a message and still no call back. This places sucks! read more
