When my orders were not scanning in, he made sure that all of my information went into the system correctly. Avoid this location if you can. The lady at the front desk with glasses has no idea what she's doing. Should be fired in all honesty. I watched 3 people ahead of me all be given a hard time. My doctor's office made it really easy for me by giving me a pre-prepared document with "LabCorp" printed at the top. The document even had a barcode for the employees at LabCorp to scan! It doesn't get easier than that folks! The lady at the front desk kept scanning the document and typing something in the computer. Turns out she was searching for the doctor's name for 30 minutes when it was clearly printed on the pre-prepared document!! Unnecessarily difficult and a massive waste of time, employees have trouble reading. Although the staff member who drew my blood knew what she was doing. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! -5 stars!!!!!!!!! They told me I was pregnant but I am NOT. That's so screwed up and someone should definitely be fired. That could get dangerous. Also they lost my results and never sent them to my doctor even though I asked them multiple times to make sure that they would send it. BAD. And the lady at the desk was super sassy. Don't bother making an appointment. You'll still wait forever before they call you up. The sign in sheet asks if you have an appointment and there's the red folder they use to attempt to prioritize appointments but good luck having them pay attention to the fact that you checked the "I have an appointment" box. read more

So, if you're going to get lab work or drug screen, take a right on the street just before the emory medical facility. You will see a parking lot on your right. Park there (there's a fee), and then head across the street into the emory medical facility. Inside the building, you will see a first set of guest services who will then direct you to take a right, follow the path past the cafe to the next set of guest services. They will then direct you to go to the elevators on the left to the 14th floor to room 1460. When I arrived, the room was packed. It's highly recommended that you make an appointment so that you're not waiting for a very long time. Driving through mid tone is very tedious. The facility was mostly kept up, nothing fancy but not horrible. read more

After reading the reviews, I was nervous about this place, but I had a pleasant experience. Arrived at 9:50 for a 10:15 appointment on Monday, seen at 10:30, out soon after. Allen, my tech, was polite, quick, and gentle, with no problems getting blood on the first stick. Yes, the place is a far walk from the parking deck, and the deck was pretty full. While the nurse behind the window was friendly, I had a terrible experience with the man who took my blood (required for my job's biometric screening). He made multiple unprofessional comments about my appearance WHILE taking my blood and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I will make every effort to NOT come here again because of this experience. read more

Although I had scheduled an online appointment, I was refused service at this branch because the staff that performs the test LEFT early. The remaining staff refused to acknowledge my presence until I asked for assistance and then was very rude and unprofessional. They didn't show the slightest bit of concern. Do they provide the same level of concern when collecting specimens and handling lab results? I'll travel out of my way to use another lab. Save yourself the frustration. read more

If you choose this LabCorp be aware that it's a little hard to find. It's inside the Emory medical building on the 14th floor so when you arrive walk to the elevators in the back of the building (behind information desk) and take those up. I went in without an appointment at 10:30 am and the waiting room was packed, so even though they don't request you make an appointment it's not a bad idea to do it anyway. Service was polite. The wait was somewhat long but I think that could be remedied with an appointment made in advance. Perfectly good option if you need blood testing/drug testing downtown as long as you don't get easily lost like I do :) if you do, just follow the directions up above and you'll find it in a snap. One more tip: The parking garage is huge and was also packed but they do have a valet service, so if you don't mind tipping a few bucks your car gets parked on a lower level in reserved valet spaces and you'll save yourself some time! read more

Wow... The personnel at the Labcorp near Emory are so incredibly rude and unprofessional. To be exact, the techs name was Allen. I have NEVER heard of or been to a lab, or any other medical facility for that matter where personnel were not only demeaning, but somehow felt the liberty to engage and physically move a patient into a preferred location. Yes, I said 'move'... Not lead or ask professionally. I mean he literally physically placed his hands on the body and pulled. If this is his typical disposition with patients, I'm not really sure how this individual is still employed. I'm actually a little stunned. This was just ONE of several things that happened. The whole experience was crazy. I will seek an alternative lab for future tests. Save your time and money. Go anywhere but here. read more

This office is less than the one star given. There are seven people in this office and I have seen three ppl leave out and they have yet to call anyone of the seven waiting people to the back. Now I will say that I do not know why five of these people are waiting however this one lady spoke out to why she has been waiting for nearly two hours and the lady at the window explained to her that she couldn't find her orders from the doctor. Apparently the young man didn't put her orders where he should have. Nite here is the gotcha another woman has just walked in and they took her for her urine test after three minutes of waiting for her urine test. I know that is what I needed to have done and I was here first. When in Dunwoody it was literally walk in and out and I wouldn't even bother if I didn't have to pay for parking already.Y'all need to work on your customer service skills and organization. read more
